This was our second stay at Slim's and we had a wonderful time. The house is small, cozy and perfect for our family of four which includes a 5 and 6 year old. The best part of the cabin in our opinion is the view and the deck that over looks the lake! We hope to visit again some day and make more memories.

I highly recommend this property. There was a abundance of wildlife and things to do in the outdoors with a beautiful view. The cabin was clean and cozy. We will definitely be staying here again.

I'm sensitive to mold. When i walked in, it smelled very musty. The cabin was ok for two, but with one bathroom upstairs that was hard to turn around in, tiny shower, etc. If you had to go to the bathroom in the night and you were downstairs, it would be very difficult. The added demand of insurance cost, made this extremely expensive 350 per night approx. For a fishing trip that was more than it should have been for 3 of us.

The cabin was cute and perfect for a weekend getaway. The deck has an amazing view of the lake. Cindi was extremely responsive and accommodating!

We had a great stay. The owner was very responsive. Our kids loved the sleeping nook.

We enjoyed the beautiful view and checking out the town of Philipsburg. The house has everything you need for a fun filled weekend.

The cabin was clean and cute. The deck was where we spent the most time, and view was amazing. We saw dear and moose. Downside, one small bathroom for 4 adults was tough, especially where it was located. Based on picture, it appears like the access to lake is just down the road from the cabin, but it isn't, so that was disappointing. Access isn't far, just not great. No sleep at all on second and third night due to refrigerator sensor going off every 30 minutes or so, and that was frustrating. Not able to get fixed due to being a weekend.

Staying here was one of our favorite trips as a family. It’s absolutely beautiful - idyllic views, welcoming interiors, and cozy as can be. You can tell when an owner of a property manages a rental place or when they consider the property as a second home, and this place falls in the latter category. It has so much charm (so many vintage decor and kitchen items!), adorable decor, and small touches. Cindi was a wonderful, sweet host who was personable, generous with her suggestions, and responsive. She was so welcoming to my kids and I truly felt she wanted us to have a wonderful trip and enjoy her cabin. During our time here, we saw a mama moose and her two babies right outside the property. We saw mountain bluebirds, robins building nests, and sunrises and sunsets over the lake. We enjoyed stargazing on the balcony at night and long walks along the lakeshore road during the day. This is the mind of cabin where you’re happy to just stay put all day because there is so much to enjoy (in other words, it’s not just a place to stay while you leave and go see other things). The neighbors are kind, too. My son cried when we left because he loved it so much (that loft bed will be a hit with your kids!). It’s just a beautiful place and we can’t wait to come back!

The place was perfect for us! Cindi was wonderful, we had a last minute cancellation on a different property and she was so accommodating! We were very close to the lake for ice fishing, perfect sleeping arrangements for our family and our pups. Beautiful view so sad our weekend has come to an end, until next time :)

We came up with out 2 kids and had a wonderful stay. The house had everything you would need in the kitchen and even had sleds we used on the awesome hill. Great winter getaway. We will definitely stay again.:)

Our host was very kind and accommodating. The cabin was the perfect size for our group, and has a beautiful view of the lake. The temperatures dropped to single digits but the cabin stayed warm and cozy.

We spent Christmas at Slim’s with our two daughters. It was cozy and comfortable. The girls went skiing one day which is only 30 miles away. I definitely recommend staying here.

This was a great, cozy cabin. Comfortably slept 4. Quiet and calm.

The views are unbelievable! Pictures do not do the property justice! It was very cool while we were in town so we didn't do swimmingin the lake, but my son (8) had a blast just exploring and skipping rocks. The lake is crystal clear and so beautiful against the mountains I loved the scenery for morning runs and my dad (70) enjoyed walking the property. Check in was very smooth and we had lots of privacy despite owners being on site directly behind the cabin. She was so helpful with suggestions about different activities in the area. 10/10 Highly recommend!

Overall okay. More rough than rustic. Very cozy and small space for advertised 7 adults. Had toilet and stove issues, no bathroom fan or kitchen exhaust fan. Fridge beeps/alarms constantly, and one broken kitchen chair, owner aware with no solution. Cleanliness was good until I found others hair on my towel and cobwebs in stairs. Had to message and call owner to get code for key access, not available on the app under 'check-in'. Good views of the lake and pintlers, we enjoyed our company and family wedding for the weekend. The owner or cleaning person was waiting for us to leave from the driveway, that was uncomfortable.

Perfect for our family, quiet, clean, and beautiful surroundings. Loved the Echo in the living room for music and the TV with free channels and movies since we couldn't have a fire at night due to the fire restrictions.

My husband and I loved staying at Slim’s Hideaway! The cabin offered everything we needed for the week. It was very clean and well stocked. It’s a peaceful and quiet area. The bed was very comfortable. It has a great view and the lake is a short walk away. We loved spending time on the deck star gazing. Cindi let us know to keep an eye out for a moose and her baby that have been in the area. We were so happy that we got to see them on our last night! We would love to go back and highly recommend!

The setting was 100% what we were looking for. Daily moose sightings and great fishing just a moment away. Great communication with homeowner. Clean. Comfortable. Couldn't ask for more. We will be back!
