This beach house was awesome! Jim was very friendly and helpful in showing us around the house. The beach house was immaculate. There were also lots of beach toys, bikes, wet suits, etc. for us to use. Everything with the house was so well thought out and organized. Great location. Would definitely go back again.

This is a lovely home that is extremely well-maintained and perfect for a large family. We had our daughter and her husband with us, who loved the downstairs kitchen (they have a 3 month old and it was nice for them to be able to take care of the baby in the night without disturbing the rest of the family). The main kitchen is truly a chef's kitchen and we just loved our stay here. Could not have been better!

The adults and kids had so much fun staying in this comfortable beautiful home with easy access to the beach. The home’s amenities were unbelievably great- large kitchen, hot water, comfortable beds, multiple parking and all the equipment for a fun beach experience - boogie boards, wet suits, chairs, umbrellas and buggies to roll everything through the sand for easy set up and an outdoor shower for easy clean up.

The location is amazing and the house is wonderful; very clean, stocked with everything you might need for a get away. The separate living spaces made it a great set up for two families. Plenty of parking, which is hard to come by in this neighborhood. Easiest check in/check out process I have experienced. Will definitely stay here again!

The house is beautiful, spacious, and so beautifully maintained. We liked the easy access to the water and loved all the beach equipment.

Mary and Jim are excellent property owners who think of everything when it comes to making your stay fun and memorable. Our family of 8 enjoyed using the amenities provided, especially the wetsuits, surf and boogie boards, and outdoor shower. We definitely would stay here again and highly recommend it!

Always clean, everything needed is handy. And the hosts are always accommodating. We’ve rented 4 times now and it’s a testament to our experience here.

This house was beautiful, well equipped, clean, and had every amenity possible! The location was perfect. Jim met us to check us in and explained everything and was super nice and easy going! We spent every day at the beach, using boogie boards, bike riding, playing frisbee and basketball, watching movies and hanging out! The house is much larger than the pictures and literally gorgeous. The bonus was the shower. The showers are amazing!!! Thanks for the awesome vacation!

The house is awesome! Very clean, well stocked, and comfy. There isn’t quite enough room for us all 7 to lounge together in the living room upstairs, but we made it work. You need to bring your own fire stick to watch tv. We did it through the PS5 we brought bc we didn’t know. The location is great! Steps from the beach. Loved every minute. Thank you!!

This home is so special and beautifully appointed......we were very sad to have to leave! If it is available for the dates you want - book it now!! You will not be disappointed! It had everything we needed and the split levels worked out perfectly for us to have a little privacy at times, but meet up in the kitchen & upstairs living room for breakfast/dinner & then relax for a nightly movie or TV show! The proximity to the beach is unbeatable and it's so easy to take chairs and whatnot without feeling like you're lugging stuff forever - I hate that! And the amount of beach supplies that Jim & Mary provide is out of this world!! The beds were super comfortable and everything was very clean and organized. Being a fellow vacation home owner, I am always looking at things like that wherever I stay because it is VERY important to me. Jim & Mary's place was impeccable. Nothing was out of place, no remanences of the guests before, everything was very easy to use & I would 100% stay in this home again every time we are in the area! Speaking of Jim & Mary...they are extremely helpful and so kind! They are the exact kind of hosts you want in a vacation rental because it's obvious they care about their home and that their guests are comfortable. I appreciate their attention to detail and very much look forward to staying with them again!

We absolutely love this house. The interior is cozy and clean. Everything works. It’s location is perfect for beach access and other goings on in Oxnard. We really enjoy the neighborhood too.

When going to the beach having everything you need is a giant bonus, but this house goes above and beyond. Get ready to have a blast.

We stayed for a long weekend, the property was fantastic! It was bigger than we thought in pictures, so plenty of space for 8 friends! The house was spotless clean when we arrived with plenty of supplies for our stay (towel, beach stuff). The proximity to the beach was perfect as well! Jim and Mary were very responsive and helpful! Couldn't have been better!

This was not our first vacation to this house and it won’t be our last. It’s absolutely our happy place. Great house, amenities, location and owners.

My family stayed in this lovely home over the Christmas Holiday. The hosts were great, the condition of the home pristine and it had all the amenities we could possibly need including cruiser bikes and beach equipment. The beach access across the street was so convenient and we got in a great walk every day. The neighborhood was super friendly and easy access to restaurants and brew pubs. The property made us feel at home. Our favorite rental yet!

Beautiful, clean, comfortable, well-provisioned, updated home with a friendly and responsive owner just steps away from the beach. This is a 5-star experience. Ideal for families or several adult couples. There are some stairs connecting the living spaces that may not be ideal for people with mobility issues, if that's not a concern I would wholeheartedly recommend this property. Our family of 5 (3 teenagers) enjoyed our stay and will definitely look to enjoy the home again with future trips to the area.

This is a most delightful house, comfortable, charming, great location and the kitchen! It made cooking Thanksgiving dinner a joy and I am no cook. My only complaint is that we can't live there year round.

What a great place! We spent 3 fantastic days at "Strada Di Mare" and we couldn't have been happier with the hospitality of Jim and Mary. This is one of, if not the cleanest, properties we've ever been in and pride of ownership is well represented. They have thought of everything for your stay, whether it's a weekend or extended period, you'll not need to bring much other than the desire to relax... Thanks Jim and Mary!

Silver Strand was just right for us to stay for our family wedding! We appreciated the 4 bedrooms and multiple common areas. Having the bikes and beach chairs was a big plus. Enjoyed morning and evening walks on the beach and seeing the nearby sea lions!

Due to the sweeping ocean views and spacious accommodations, this was the most peaceful and relaxed of our vacations in all the years as we have been coming to Oxnard. The hosts were exceptionally gracious.

This house has it all. It is beautifully decorated, beds are comfortable and the owners put a lot of thought in to what a family on vacation might need to enhance their stay. Here are just a few things you will not need to bring…shampoo, hair dryer, paper towels, coffee filters, extra blankets, laundry detergent and anything you could possibly need for the beach is all ready here. Our family loved staying at your beautiful home, made lots of great memories and plan to come back next summer if you will have us. Best property we have stayed at in 6 different visits. Our family owned a home here since the 70's and we had family living here until 2019. Our favorite beach and I hope to stay at Jim and Mary's place again real soon. Just a short walk to the beach and all the beach gear that you would ever need or want. The house is so comfortable, organized, clean. and bright. Love it.

The decks and outdoor space was so beautiful and welcoming. The toys on the garage are a HUGE bonus with everything a family needs to have a fun day at the beach. House was beautiful and homey!

The owners have such attention to detail. It is a beautifully maintained property, and every convenience has been anticipated and thought of. I enjoyed the stay with my family: 3 yo son, husband, parents, sister and her family.
