We had a wonderful stay at the red top treehouse. Love the mirror lake area and the house had everything we needed. The host were very easy to communicate with. We will be back!

My friend and I enjoyed every minute of our stay at the cabin. It was beautifully decorated and equipped with anything you could want! The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and just relaxing after hiking a few places and shopping of course.We saw no bears while there!

This little mountain house was perfect for us to celebrate my birthday. Joann left me a bottle of champagne to help with the festivities!! How sweet. The kitchen is stocked full of anything and everything you could need to cook. The deck amazed with a perfect view of sunset and a fire pit. Not far from downtown Highlands, which had great shopping and wonderful restaurants. We enjoyed 4 days of hiking, rest and celebration. Thank you to Joann and Mike.

Perfect getaway for our honeymoon. The cabin was extremely clean and very spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathrooms had plenty of towels and toiletries. Loved that it was so close to the town of Highlands. The owners made check-in very easy and gave us their phone numbers in case we needed to contact them, which we did not. We would definitely recommend this great cabin.

Lovely home with everything you need for an enjoyable stay! Beautiful view and easy access to Highlands downtown area. Disappointed the grill did not work because something was wrong with the burner. Previous renter had left Very little propane between two tanks.

Everything literally from soup to nuts was provided by the hosts. We wanted quiet and relaxing which is exactly what we got. Cabin is professionally decorated, spacious, extremely clean and comfortable. The only drawback for us was accessing the location which proved stressful since it is physically too difficult for us to back up if necessary on a narrow, steep, winding one lane road. Other than than the roads, we would not hesitate to book again. By far, the best Vrbo we ever stayed in.

My wife and I celebrated our 34th anniversary and this house was perfect. Excellent location and the house equipped with all the necessities. Fantastic back deck that adds another room. We had a great trip and highly recommend this house for one or two couples.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay the Redtop Treehouse! Highly Recommend! Very clean and comfortable. Great kitchen! It was so nice to have most all needed common pantry items provided. The attention to detail by the owners was very evident! Having been the owner of two beach rentals we know how much hard work goes into maintaining a high quality property. Loved our stay at the treehouse. The home was clean, cool and comfortable. Minutes to town. Hosts are kind and responsive. Really enjoyed the back porch. Big tv upstairs was perfect for the first football weekend too. Highly recommend.

Our month long stay in this home was perfect. The house is well furnished and completely stocked with everything you would need. We especially enjoyed the deck and some evenings we used the outdoor fire -
We rarely used the upstairs tv area as we were too busy walking and playing pickle ball and reading - a totally relaxing stay getting out of the heat at home.
Owners were available if there were questions- I would highly recommend renting this property.

We enjoyed the cool weather while sitting on the beautiful deck in the tree house. The kitchen was well stocked as mentioned and we left a few items as others did for us, oil, milk, butter, etc. it is very close to On the Veranda restaurant so we loved our meal there. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your comfortable Vrbo. The light switch on right of M bedroom needs a new switch and we appreciated the washer and dryer for a quick wash of clothes. It rained a couple of times briefly and that kept things cool. Your attention to detailed info in binder was excellent!! Thank you again!

this was a super cute cabin, and yes its in a windy road neighborhood, which is a small one way road. So you might have to back up to let someone else go by, if you have a really big car could be an issue if trying to park also. The cabin was like in the trees which I love, however
the lighting in the cabin is not sufficient for the darkness of all the trees. But if you normally like low lighting, it would be fine. There was a very small TV on the main floor, too small and we had to go upstairs to watch the bigger TV, and my focus was to be on one level, stairs are a little sketchy/steep no handrail.

Our stay at Red Top Treehouse was amazing. The property was everything described and more. Fully stocked, comfortable and very well maintained. The neighborhood was well located and wonderfully quiet. It will be our first choice when we return!

The cottage is in a neighborhood but because of its positioning into the woods you feel absolutely secluded. Yet, the tempting retail and restaurants of downtown Highlands are a very brief (less than 2 miles) drive. The hosts were very communicative and the house is beautifully appointed. Perfect for one couple-two may have been a little tight after a couple of days.

This is a great cabin conveniently located to everything around Highlands. It was absolutely the best stocked VRBO rental I’ve ever stayed at. Everything you might need while staying has been thought of and provided in the cabin. We had a terrific week and can’t recommend the Red Roof Cabin highly enough.

If you’ll looking for a place with a majestic site, warmth, comfort, and peacefulness just minutes away from Highland Downtown and the Cullasaja River then is the place.
As we made our way through the winding roads I couldn’t help but wonder what gem laid at the end of this journey. Oh and what a treat it was, simply the best.
This spacious 2 bedroom with loft, deck and a fully ready to use kitchen with wine cooler will have everything you’ll need.
I’m glad we found this gem and can’t wait to return.

We spent several days over the Christmas holiday at this property. We absolutely loved it! They have thought of everything and had great communication with us. We would love to stay again sometime. The house was decorated beautifully for the holidays too, which made it extra special.

Red Top Treehouse is a lovely property that deserves its name. It is nestled high above the surrounding forest among gorgeous hardwood trees. The color this year defies description. The cabin is spotless and the kitchen and furnishings are just like home. We are both nearing 70, and the drive to and from the cabin requires some careful navigation, but certainly nothing we couldn't handle. We will most definitely consider this property again!

The house was exactly as pictured online. It was well stocked with kitchen necessities and the owner even supplied bathroom essentials such as soap, shampoo, lotion and toothpaste. It was a very enjoyable stay for us!
The only thing lacking to make our stay perfect would be a covered porch. (I know….it’s asking a lot! Ha) The porch is amazing, but it rained almost every day at some point so we weren’t able to enjoy it as much as we could have. Other than that we give the house an A+++. Highly recommend.
