Great experience staying at this house. Everything was as expected and then some. King bedroom is on main level with bathroom attached. Upper level has queen bedroom and open loft w/2 beds. Bathroom is in between with access from both areas. Lower level has rec room, kitchen and a separate bedroom with 2 beds which worked well for other family with small kids. Plenty of extra mattresses, linens & towels. Main kitchen is fully stocked. Loads of pots & pans, appliances like waffle/popcorn maker, slow cooker, etc.. Lots of basic pantry staples; seasonings, hot sauces, coffee, sugar, etc.. and paper products; tp, paper towels, kleenex, etc.. Bring paper plates and plastic silverware for those times you dont plan on using the dishes. Enough space to spread out in & out. Lots of board games, foosball, darts, bags. video games. Great dock for fishing & boating. The cove was such a calm & peaceful place. Was able to try the kayaks when the weather warmed up. Would come back again to be able to swim and use other water toys. There are lots of stairs, it is 3 stories after all, but the stairs to the dock were well thought out with plenty of landings and shorter steps. Not like the steep straight down kind we saw elsewhere. Be aware that the driveway is steep . We got around this by loading/unloading gear and grandparents at the top when needed. Day trips to fall creek falls state park with waterfalls, underground lake in a cave, and pigeon forge/gatlinberg very doable drive within 2 hours. Just be sure to get out early if your bothered by driving in the dark on remote roads on the way back.

House and view was beautiful! Floor plan accomodated us all very well. Screen porch with view was our favorite!

We had a wonderful summer vacation on this beautiful property! This was our first time on Watts Bar Lake and we really enjoyed the property and the lake house. Jon’s home has plenty of room with all of the beds and bedrooms and it was very clean and comfortable. We were also amazed by how well-stocked the house was. We have stayed at many lake houses and right away we could tell that Jon had anticipated our every need! We were very impressed with how many things were provided with this home both inside and out. We all enjoyed sitting on the screened-in porch but most of our days were spent enjoying the outside. It was a great location on the lake. Not only was the view beautiful, but the cove was awesome and provided a quiet area to sun, float and explore with the kayaks that were provided. My sons enjoyed fishing off the dock and we all enjoyed the incredible sunsets. Foosball, board games and corn hole were an extra bonus! All in all it was quiet, beautiful and very peaceful. Our family really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful lake house making wonderful family memories and would highly recommend! Thank you Jon!!

The property was very accommodating and clean. Plenty of room. For both our family and our friends to sleep and entertain. The dock and the back porch where we spent most of our time and they were spacious and fun. Plenty of amenities on the property.

This house was perfect. The owner is so accommodating and thoughtful to his visitors. I have stayed at similar places but none that I felt so welcome and at ease. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Our stay at this Ten Mile property exceeded it's promises. It was easy to access, clean, fully stocked, and ready for fun. For a bunch of ill-prepared businessmen, this place offers everything you need to relax and enjoy being Off the Grid and On the Lake.

Beautiful property right on watts bar lake. There are plenty of sleeping spaces and the home is stocked with everything needed for a weeks stay. The owner was great and even offered early check-in (which we did not need). The biggest issue we had with the home is the number of stairs and the incredibly steep driveway. The home is not toddler friendly due to the very steep steps and widely spaced railings around the upstairs loft and staircases. The house is very old and dated, but I knew that from the pictures and a previous reviewer. However, I didn’t expect the stairs up to the main living space to be so unstable. The swim platform/and dock are are in need of repair and/or replacement. We were very concerned for our grandchildren getting splinters from all the weathered wood. The driveway was so steep we didn’t think we could back our boat down to the flat surface. We managed but the trailer did scrape. We had 3 adults in their 50’s who had a very difficult time climbing all the stairs into the home and up/down to the bedrooms. I wish I had known before renting this property.

Having kayaks provided for us was awesome. We all took turns going out first thing in the morning. This home is great for a family vacation. We had plenty of room with all of the beds and bedrooms. The large table on the screened in porch was great for us to have family dinners and the large porch was perfect for family game night. We will definitely be back next summer.

Great property!! The cove is awesome with a great area to swim, float, or whatever. House was clean and functional - just as pictured. The porch is fully screened so you can use it late into the evening. Highly recommend this property!

Good experience

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this lakehouse. The house was actually even better than the photos suggest! We LOVED the location right by the water and used the kayaks provided multiple times a day. There were life jackets thoughtfully provided. 3 hammocks and a cloth swing my kids loved and a huge wrap around porch to enjoy the lovely Fall weather without bugs. We ate dinner out there on the big table. Sheets were soft and comfy and pantry had a few thoughtful items provided. Owner was communicative throughout the entire process, and a pleasure to work with. We loved our stay. The ONLY small improvement that could be made was that the carpets were well used. Didn’t want our baby crawling on them due to wear and stains, but to be expected in a vacation rental and the rest of the house certainly made up for it. We loved the game room downstairs. Perfect property!

This is a lovely, lakefront property. Clean, comfy and perfect for our small family but would love to come back with a group! Everything you could need is there - water toys, indoor games, grill and a large screened-porch to eat meals or lay in a hammock and read. Owner is very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Already planning when we can return!
