Great house in an perfect location for downtown Sylva! Will stay again if this house is available next time I'm in the area.

After completing The ART LOEB trail for our annual backpacking trip, eating an AMAZING COSMIC BURGER@ Innovation Brewery, we were ready to get to our little oasis in downtown Sylva to get cleaned up before wandering the quant streets of the town. The house is literally in the BEST location and SUPER easy to access all Sylva has to offer. The house has excellent parking, is plenty spacious, decorated immaculately, laid out perfectly and all beds and sofa were super comfortable. We had a little snafu upon arrival but the property manager CHAD from SunDog was on it and made-our stay even more spectacular due to his attentiveness and superior customer service. Truly we all thank you!! I highly recommend this property and I know I will be looking to book this place again, as will the others who were there with me. Hiker Boos give Sylva STROLL 5 thumbs up!

We loved our stay! It’s a great location and the layout was perfect for two families. Only complaints are pretty nitpicky. It’s barely stocked so if you’re staying for more than a few days, expect to buy trash bags, toilet paper, etc. Also wish the outdoor furniture was better quality because the porch is lovely, but the metal furniture gets hot in the sun and the chairs are uncomfortable. Plus there’s a rug on the exposed porch that is gross from staying wet from rain.

Loved the house and location. From one of the upstairs bedrooms it sounded like there was a critter in the attic. In upstairs room with multiple beds, outlet access near bed is difficult, it would be very convenient for guests if there was plugs on nightstands. All in all great house in a great location!

What a beautiful home in the heart of Sylva! Wonderful, clean, and spacious interior with all amenities you need. A 5 minute walk to downtown Sylva. Front patio for relaxing and chatting. Staff was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay here. We all kept saying how at home we felt and would book here again in a heartbeat!

This home was spotless! We really enjoyed the location and being able to walk into the heart of downtown in under five minutes.

Do not be misled by the ramp in the front of the property. This property is not handicap accessible. The property had not been completely cleaned. Coffee grounds were in the coffee maker and orange crumbs were on the floor in front of the refrigerator. There was no knob on the inside front door. The master bedroom ceiling fan chain was on a dish on the dresser so there was no way to turn the fan on. In the laundry room, the third drawer on the left of the sink had a broken glide. The garden hose was left thrown over the porch furniture. On the positive side, the site was beautiful. Easy walk into town and to restaurants. The area brought back lots of memories from my childhood.

This house was perfect for an open house visit to WCU and seeing friends in Sylva. The only drawback is the location to hwy off ramp, It’s close. That being said we’d stay there again as you can easily walk to downtown restaurants and the house is lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sylva Stroll. We were in town for a family wedding and are so happy we chose to stay downtown Sylva. We were walking distance to Main Street and enjoyed walking from the house downtown and exploring all of the shops. We even hit the farmers market Saturday morning! Great places to eat and shops for everyone in our group. There was park across the way from the house that our kids enjoyed playing at as well! The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. We would highly recommend this property for a stay in Sylva.

Great location close to downtown Sylva can walk to Main Street. Short drive to WCU campus.

Really enjoyed our stay at Sylva Stroll. Went for for a short weekend stay and chose the perfect house that was close to everything we needed and that needed us. While in Sylva we ate from local eateries, our daughter came from Western Carolina University and stayed with us. We rode the train and took in the attractions, met wonderful people Saturday. Got up on Sunday and made our way back home, leaving behind many wonderful memories made.

We had a lovely 3 day stay in Silva. The house is walking distance from Main Street. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was clean and tidy. A few cons: It took us a while to figure out how to turn on the lights. We couldn’t get the fireplace to work but it wasn’t very cold so it didn’t really matter. The king bedroom door downstairs was difficult to close. Something rolled under the bed in the same bedroom and there was a lot of dust under the bed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house and with a few tweaks it would have been perfect.

The home was beautifully appointed, meticulously clean.

Place is gorgeous! Close to everything. We loved staying there. It gets 4 stars because it did not have adequate cooking utensils or bowls for chips, etc. nor bakeware. It was not stocked with salt/pepper when other VRBO places that family stayed in were. Goblets were missing as well as other glassware. If the property manager would fix these things, the place would be a 10!

Awesome. Just a great weekend with good friends

We visited as a family of 6 adults and the location and house were just perfect. Well appointed with daily needs in mind and quality furnishings made our stay very enjoyable. We spent much time on the porch enjoying the breeze when we weren’t out exploring everything nearby. So much to do and see within a 20-30 min drive.

Sylva Stroll is the place to stay in Sylva. It is 3 blocks from Main Street, beautifully decorated and has every amenity you would need. The living room is such a relaxing area. This house is amazing. It is beautifully renovated and very well equipped. Only reason not giving it a 5 is due to the heat. This house has a heat pump and we were there on a very cold weekend and could not get upstairs above 60.
