The property was spotless and in a great location. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend and we will be returning in the future.

beautiful apartment, 2 bedrooms each with en-suite, fully equipped kitchen including washing machine and dishwasher. there was a power cut one of the evening we were there for only a short time and the owner rang immediately to see if we were ok, then her hubby called to us to see if we needed anything- really impressive customer service- thanks Martina and Pat!

I loved everything about this place. Friendly and helpful host, the apartment was so adorable and cozy. Beds were very comfortable. The house was decorated for Christmas. Location is right next to the pubs and with a perfect view of the river in Doolin. I’m loved this place!

River Shack was so comfortable, even in the stormiest of weather. So central too for getting a bite to eat and a drink

There isn’t anything we didn’t like

Our stay at the River Shack absolutely blew our expectations! The photos don't do the space justice, it is a proper little house/cottage and was very spacious and modern. So warm, beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms and the kitchen was perfect for what we needed. The hosts were so kind and lovely, Martina even brought us milk and coffee/bread/butter from her own house when we couldn't make it to the larger shop (we didn't have a car). Amazing stay, can't rate it enough!!

We had some trouble with the wifi but to be fair we never asked for help with it

Martina and Pat were great hosts. They were very responsive and made sure our requests were looked after. The house has been made to top spec and has a wonderful location, right in the middle of the town. Doolin port and Doolin cave are just over 8mins of drive.

Instructions on turning the heating ON would've been very helpful.

Was incredible so clean, fresh, everything was just perfect....home from home ! Can't say enough good things about this accommodation and the location just right, in the middle of everything yet so peaceful. The hosts Martina and Pat lovely friendly people, they also have a beautiful friendly dog. We will defo be back 😉

The place was in a really good location, clean, quiet, couple of minutes from all required facilities. It was very nicely decorated and equipped.

Lovely secluded house, all the facilities and space you could need, fantastic location for exploring Doolin and beyond!

It wasn’t much of an issue for us but it would have been nice to have a short guide to the various things to do in the area, and recommendations for restaurants/pubs in Doolin.

Facilities were outstanding and the location was superb! Martina the owner was also super friendly and accommodating. Honestly, we couldn’t fault the property at all. It was the best family holiday we’ve ever had!
