Everything was superb. Rooms are good sized, comfortable beds, clean, breakfast was tasteful, location was very good, walking distance to Jam Gadang.

Just a bit overpriced.

Most of it, particularly the breakfast. It was fantastic.

The guy who meet me at the front desk when I check-in. I came around 15pm and my room was not ready, he did not say apologize and do the necessary action to fix it. In fact, he responded to the guest behind me and that guest get the room faster than me. I still remember that front office name. He supposed to be not in that desk. Front desk is the face of the hotel, the very first impression, the most important interaction between guests and Santika hotel and he is not capable to do it.

The rooms was really good, also the location is quiet good.

The breakfast was just average not good for price. The stuff at the front desk at least what we had was not good speaking English.

food was alright. the smell from outside sewer or garbage was so trong when sitting in the loby or from the buffet area. so when we were eating.. the smell took the pleasure away. the pools were too small especially the one for the kids. I would not call it a pool. To me it was just a place to soak your kids in. and the water was too cold. I wish the pool were heated. bukittinggi is cold so.. the pool needs to be heated especially if it is outdoor pool.

Location was great. I had a room with the mountain views that was fantastic!

I came in to my room which smelled like a petrol kiosk. Staff took 1 hr trying to clear the air, so I had to leave the room. Found red ants under my pillow and a spider under the table on the second night... Got diarrhea after having the fish n chips ordered for room service. When I called the reception at 5am to ask for something to help with my condition, he only said they do not have anything except for some medication for cuts!?!. Did not even offer any help. For a highly rated hotel, I was very disappointed with the service. Hope the management can train their staff better

We stayed at the deluxe twin room with balcony so as to get the view of the mountain. Very satisfying with clean and functional room. Good breakfast and staff that make you feel so welcome.

A large, modern hotel located on a small street in the center of the tourist town. At the top of the hotel there is a restaurant (a bit expensive) with a panoramic terrace, which offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and volcanoes. Room well equipped, large and comfortable bed, good wifi. Breakfast on the ground floor in a large hall, some tables outside in the courtyard, a large selection of various dishes, both international and local. Staff polite, willing to help.

Poor soundproofing of the windows, you can hear the noise of passing cars and motorbikes from the street.

The breakfast, the room, the view, the gym and pool are amazing and comfortable.

The shower room needs a little bit scrub. The door needs a good insulation to reduce noise from outside. Please give a door stopper to avoid a loud bang when the guests close the doors.

The hotel looks new with modern minimalist design. It also feels clean. Too bad we didn’t get the room with Mt. Marapi-Singgalang view. It is located quite in the middle of Bukittinggi tourist attractions. You can walk to Panorama Ngarai Sianok, Jam Gadang, Pasa Ateh (Upper Market), Fort de Kock and Bukittinggi Zoo. Good breakfast with traditional options, but it was a bit too crowded when we were there. The space between tables should have been made bigger as we haven’t completely left covid behind yet. The staff are ok.

Bukittinggi is not Bali, we know that the culture is different but at least the hotel could put a guy with a nice/genuine smile in the reception.
