Drove from Washington Main Street Station to the property and I would say that it is conveniently located from everything. The bathroom floor was a bit dirty with loose hairs and the shower space needs a little more TLC. The first night, we had trouble finding the air mattresses that were described in the listing, but the next morning we met with the host and he had to unlocked them from his private closet. Master bedroom’s bed is kind of a memory foam type (super firm btw). Internet service never worked for us.

The inside of house was nice and description and pictures were accurate.
The outside however does not look like the picture. Weeds everywhere broken lawn chair with no pads. We sat on the cement steps. The description says pit fire. Which we thought was a fire pit. When I asked what that meant I was never given a response. I asked for cushions and was told prior tenants dogs chewed them. Not sure why that affects us but I hope they buy new ones for the next tenant.

We stayed for a month while visiting family, and the location is perfect for accessing anywhere you need to go whether to get groceries, food, sight seeing, or just exploring. The neighborhood is extremely quiet, and you would never know the owners are next door because they are so quiet, yet are immediately available if you have any questions. It was just right for our stay!

Booked a last minute one night stay for our family of 6, (me, wife, 4 kids), and this place met our needs perfectly. Space is newly done and very clean. Check-in/check-out was easy, and the location was great. Quick, easy drive to the monuments, etc. Would book again.

This small cottage is great for those looking at easy access to DC and/or access to Arlington, VA. It's an easy walk to the Arlington National Cemetery. I would have appreciated opportunity to get more information about access to the house sooner and ability to speak with the owner. Overall, great stay, wonderful house and location.
