We had an amazing stay on the shores of Lake Como. The apt. was as described and the hosts were friendly and very wonderful to deal with. They answered all of our questions both before and during our trip for guides, restaurants or other local tips. The location of the home was perfect- walking into the town or to the ferry boats. The house is right on the Greenway so we had access to the 10K trail along the lake. We had an amazing trip and would stay here again. What a wonderful vacation.

We recently rented the Lenno villa for one week as part of a 50th birthday celebration. Our stay was nothing short of magical. From the location, the pristine grounds, the comfortable decor, the breathtaking views, the friendly and helpful management and the overall value, you’d be hard pressed to find a better option on Lake Como. This villa checks all the boxes. The villa is located in the village of Lenno, which is somewhat smaller than than the big three touristy areas of Bellagio, Menaggio, and Varenna. For our group, that was ok since we wanted to have the experience of living like Italians at our own lakefront villa. And we weren’t disappointed. Once inside the gated grounds of the villa, your vacation truly begins. The landscaping and architecture are spectacular. The lush green grass leads down to the lakefront balustrade and overlooks the most beautiful vista. To the right, you can just see Bellagio, to the left is Villa del Balbianello (probably the most visited villa on the lake and walkable from the villa), and all surrounded by soaring Alpine mountains. Oh, and there’s a pristinely sparkling pool right at your doorstep as if you needed more! Inside the villa is very comfortable but besides sleeping, most of our time was spent either eating/drinking on the outside patio, relaxing on the grounds in the chaise lounges, or touring the lake. Walking into the town of Lenno is just a short 10 minutes via a “greenway” path that keeps you off the main road. There are several excellent restaurants, a fabulous gelato shop, and the main ferry stop which makes getting to the other areas of the lake a breeze. We also rented a boat for two days from the shop that is literally next door to the villa (talk about convenient!). Also just have to mention that the management provided amazing service and helped with several special requests. They helped arrange a private chef to prepare dinner for us one night, they arranged airport transfers, and they booked dinner for us at an amazing restaurant that otherwise we would not have found. Upon our arrival we were met by Lorenzo who accompanied us to the villa and made sure we had everything we needed before handing us the keys. From start to finish, they were professional in every way. I know there are some benefits to staying in a hotel, but for our group the Lenno Villa was everything we could have hoped for and more. It was a perfect vacation!

Our family really enjoyed the week here. The apartment is spotless. The location is phenomenal. Views of Bellagio morning noon and dinner. Easy strolls into Lenno for dining gelato and walking. The Greenway of Lago di Como just outside the entrance made for great walks up the hillside. Boat rental right next door. The apartment layout is not super ideal for a large group. We were two families of 4. The only way between 3 bedrooms upstairs and main level is either the small elevator which opens into a bedroom or the central public staircase of the building. The kitchen could also use a few more items and the only coffee maker was a Nespresso machine which you cannot buy pods for locally. This is one of several units. Most are owned and not rented with weekending families from Milan. So midweek we had the whole compound to ourselves. The pool of course is spectacular and we swam in both that and the lake. Overall it’s hard to imagine a better location!

Beautiful property, with beautiful settings. Allowed us the opportunity to either eat out or stay home and create our own great meals . And have such a great view. Swimming pool a big hit with all ..

An oasis

The property was fabulous. We stayed on the top 2 floors. Modern kitchen and high end finishes everywhere you look, spacious bedrooms, plus the grounds are perfectly manicured. Within walking distance to Lenno ferry, hiking trails, etc. One negative is that the top floor shower is a little hard to use. It's a jacuzzi tub with a shower head so it's a bit hard not to get water on the floor. Could use a shower curtain or enclosure.

Magical setting on one of the most iconic lakes in the world. You need to rent this apartment. You won’t be disappointed.

It's hard to choose a favourite element of this vacation property. The location, the view, the pool, the balcony, the 4 comfortable bedrooms with lovely bedding, the luxurious bathrooms with great water pressure and temperature, the proximity to the town of Lenno and the ferry, the fabulous choice of restaurants within walking distance, the excellent customer service from Gemma et al, really every single thing was excellent. We have already been highly recommending this property to friends and would return in an instant.
