House is amazing open floor plan, clean, fun screen porch & fire pit. So close to beach & shopping. Will recommend to friends.

We have stayed here twice and it’s a great place. Very clean and well appointed. Hosts are great to work with. They answer any questions and respond immediately. Would definitely recommend it!!

This house was perfect for our needs. It's located in a quiet neighborhood that is close to everything. It was clean with very comfortable beds. Host has a great welcome book with lots of information and great suggestions for anything you can think of. Fire pit was amazing, even had fire starters. Stoli the black lab next store was an added bonus for our pet loving family. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

This is our second time staying at this house for our annual fall get-a-way with cousins. It still seems "new" - very clean and well kept. Love the open floor plan. The master bedroom is large and has a king bed - which is hard to find in rentals. The walk-in closet is a bonus! The other two bedrooms are nice size with queen beds. Laundry room has a sink too. The screened in porch is off the master bedroom. Back yard has fire pit and chairs. Very well stocked house. Would rent again!

From the minute we arrived until we left for home, everything about this house was perfect. The home was very clean, had comfortable beds, soft linens, nice towels and a well appointed kitchen. Although we didn't use it, there is a nice fire pit and seating area in the back. Greg was very helpful when it came to suggestions for a quick dinner close by. There are nearby places to shop, admire the lake and scenery, and great places to eat. We will definitely try to come back soon to this great property.

A very comfortable, well-appointed property with the amenities you would expect at this price point. We were surprised at how much was asked of us with regard to cleaning and checking out, especially given the size of the cleaning fee

This home had everything we needed and more. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. Conveniently located to restaurants, breweries and a great winery. We would definitely come back.

I stayed with 3 friends from Nurses training. We graduated in 1964 so that tells you our age. We were looking for a quiet place where we could play games in the evenings without all kinds of noise. We had hoped to see a lot of Fall colors, but I think we were a little early. One day we were treated to a display of enormous waves crashing into the lighthouse. (a highlight of the trip) We found a Winery/restaurant for lunch. The view was good and so was the food. The house was better than expected. Appliances and furnishings were all very nice. It was well stocked with anything we needed. AND the beds were comfortable. The host replied quickly to my questions. All and all it was a nice trip. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a cute, clean, well appointed home in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed walks in the neighborhood and enjoyed the wonderful fall colors and seeing some deer who seem very comfortable in the community. The three bedrooms were comfortable and the two baths were great. Didn't get to enjoy the screen porch off the back of the house because it was cool, nor did we enjoy the firepit. We visited the Friendship Botanical Gardens which were delightful, as well as the Antique Mall nearby. We walked the pier out to the lighthouse in Michigan City and enjoyed Pizza at Stop 50 and a great dinner at Galveston Steak House. It was a great week end with our lifetime friends. (Three couples).

We were coming to Michigan City for a quick trip to visit my aging grandmother. We have 3 children (ages 5, 3 and 6 months) and the accommodations were perfect for them as well as me and my wife. The house is very new and well decorated, making for a very comfortable stay. Usually something goes wrong but not this house. I only had to contact the owner to get the keypad code which was no big deal - usually they send it a day before the stay begins. Would definitely stay here again!

We reserved this beautiful home near Indiana Dunes National Park and invited my college roommate and her husband to spend the weekend with us. We had a great weekend. The house is really clean and perfect for a weekend with friends. It isn't far from the national park and lots of interesting restaurants and breweries. We enjoyed the fire pit out back both nights we were there. We cooked our own breakfast in the fully stocked kitchen.

My wife and I were trying to find a property that afforded us a private bed and bath while making our daughter's family comfortable too. Super nice in all respects. Lots of atmosphere, deer, comfortable beds, just really nice. Our hosts were ultra helpful and made us feel at home for two wonderful weeks. We would certainly stay here again. Use the screened porch every night to play cards, weather was perfect for it. Lots of winery’s in the area that was so enjoyable. House has everything you need. Owner right next door if you have a problem, but we had no issues at all. Definitely will stay here again

Our visit to the area was for a Notre Dame football weekend and we made the absolute best decision to stay at this house. It was perfect for our family of 5 and I would highly recommend it as a great place to stay, and we certainly hope we can make a return visit. We ventured to the beaches, close to the house, and of course were within an hour of South Bend.

The hosts thought of everything a person needs while traveling. The kitchen was functional with new appliances and there was a gas bottle grill outside. Quiet neighborhood even though it sits not far from the tracks. You don't see any trains and there aren't that many. Our only complaint was beach access as there isn't parking near the area we can use. Bring bikes. Glad we did. By day 3 we just drove down and dropped our gear and I walked or biked back to beach. It's like maybe 15-20 mins. We had just a few questions while staying there and they were answered immediately. We would definitely stay again.

met all expectations and needs

We were a family of 6 with 3 children ages 17, 11 & 4. The house has been beautifully renovated and had plenty of room for the 6 of us. Location was great for our quiet long weekend getaway. While sitting on the back patio area with the firepit, many deer came very close to us, up to the neighbor's driveway. The kids loved seeing them! Owners were very responsive and very helpful with questions about the area. We mainly came to visit the beach area and dunes but also briefly visited the zoo. Only downfall (which was not an issue for us) is that there a very short Amtrak train that runs nearby. Cars were only 3-4 in length but you could hear the whistle blow. Latest was around 10:30pm and earliest was around 8am so not an issue for us, even for the 4 year old! We would definitely stay here again!

Great place. Perfectly setup for what we needed. A space to relax and just hang out with friends. Table worked great for the games we wanted to play. Kitchen was very nice. Newer built unit with one right beside it and another being built beside that one. Check in and out was a breeze.
