the kitchen was very well equipped. Every window had a fly screen, so the house was cool.

rail noise was a surprise.

The location was great once you found it. Lovely and quite but still close to everything

power kept tripping in kitchen, Not enough firewood as we ran out the evening before leaving, No instructions for the oven and no powerpoints near some of the beds for the electric blankets.

The property was excellently appointed for our family. comfortable beds plenty of crockery and cutlery, dishwasher etc

The bathroom roof leaks in the downstairs ensuite. One of the chairs was broken at the dining table. It would have been good to be warned it was so close to the train line. Just as you warn there is no internet you should warn there is a freight train at your front door. it also was not possible to contact the host as the number on the web site was that of the previous owner.
