super clean. located in a great spot with easy beach, bay and lighthouse access. the owners are wonderful- very responsive, accommodating and friendly. we loved the character of the house. there are so many great spaces and toys and things for relaxation and entertainment. thanks guys- we'll surely be back!!

Absolutely wonderful home in Barnegat Light! Walking distance to the bay and the beach. The home was cozy and fit our family of ten very comfortably. Plenty of space for parking. We loved the backyard space, fire pit, cornhole boards and use of bikes! Kitchen had everything we needed. We hope to return again.

My family really enjoyed our stay at the beach house. Lots of rooms for extended family and friends, quick walk to a beautiful beach, playground/tennis courts and restaurants. House well stocked with everything you need to have fun at the beach.

Loved being on this Quiet Part of the Island, I grew up coming down to Beach Haven, and have spent the past 17 Summers down there. So much quieter and less busy In Barnegat Light which I loved, Loved the Nautical Theme, short walk to the beach and the bay, Loved the Tiki bar, and corn hole and bikes! There were 7 of us, and our kids 17-22 were each able to have friends come down and there was room for all of us to spread out and also connect! Great House! We’ve talked about returning again.. We often stay in the South parts of the island but we really enjoyed the serenity of the Barnegat Light area. The house was a quick walk to the beach and we really enjoyed the yard for outdoor games and fire pit fun. Our host Sonya was always very responsive whenever we needed her which wasn't often.

Everything was great! The house was cute and nicely decorated with a beach theme. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and there was room for everyone to spread out. It was well cleaned when we arrived, and it met our needs for the size family that came.

Wonderful location. Charming, beachy house. Kitchen was neat and clean with new appliances. Bedrooms on 3 floors worked well for our family. Host was responsive and cared about us enjoying our stay.

Sonya was an excellent host! The property was well kept and had ample space for all. Located in quiet Barnegat light and able to walk to mini golf and Poppy's ice cream parlor. Longer walk to the beach than I expected having my 82 yr old mother along, but the gator service provided allowed for easy beach access!

The property was exactly as it appeared online - we were not disappointed in any way! The house suited us perfectly and we really enjoyed ourselves at the beach as well. We would definitely be glad to stay here again.

Sonya is great and was very, very thorough in her description of the property, including the trickiness of getting in through the front door's combination. Beach decor was pleasant, relaxing and fun. We had plenty of room (as long as we timed bathroom visits a bit) to sleep 9 of us, and could have accommodated a 10th and 11th. Only thing that could be added is that Barnegat Light sounds a "tornado warning" siren at noonish daily and when they need the volunteer firefighters - I called the nonemergency police line at 3am to see if we needed to take shelter. Test: what are the two errors in the "Anchor" sign on your left on the second floor? We are a family of proofreaders ... I hope anyone who visits will be lucky enough to enjoy their stay as much as we did!

Highly recommend!!! The house is close to beach, playground, local market and fishing village. The house was clean and had everything that we needed! The host was absolutely wonderful to work with! We were their with family for a wedding and everything went so smoothly thanks to them!

Long time LBI renter here, so I know the deal. Overall, a fine stay for a family bond getaway with nieces, aunts, grandmas. Stayed from Wed-Sun and the accommodations suited us fine. Owner was by and large prompt with responses.

Especially enjoyed the tiki bar and area in backyard to sit!

This house was just what we needed! Perfect location, halfway between the beach and the bay. The house was clean, plenty of parking, nice backyard, and plenty of room for our family. The new kitchen appliances and washer and dryer were nice. With having small children it was wonderful to be just a block away from a very nice playground! We loved our stay here!

Location was good. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Property was clean. Electronic lock was difficult to operate.

Overall very nice place to stay! Very close to the beach and a short walk to restaurants and local stores. The renters could have been more generous with basics items like toilet paper, kitchen towels, bath mats. Caution - bring linens and personal towels!! Not listed on website or on vrbo app after payment has been made.

We loved the property. Sonya was very nice and friendly. All rooms are very nice. The whole house was very clean, especially kitchen and bathrooms. The house is located close to the beach and bay. It was a great stay at Barnet Light.

We loved this house and the surrounding area. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. We loved the porches and the yard with the outdoor shower, fire pit, and tiki bar. There was enough room to hang out together and for our two teenagers to also have their own space. The walkable proximity to Barneget Light state park and to the beautiful section of beach was amazing. The beach right by the house was not empty but not at all overcrowded either. If we could have given this house 6 stars we would.

The house was great for our group to stay on LBI for a wedding. We were sad that we couldn't take advantage of the great backyard! Communication with Sonya was smooth.

We had a great stay at the house — it was clean and close to everything in Barnegat Light. With two living areas, decks and outdoor space there is plenty of room to spread out. Sonya was very responsive and answered all my questions. Would definitely stay here again!

On the good side the owners were very prompt in answering our questions/problems. They came to the house when we complained the front door lock wasn't working. They had a lot of beach chairs we could borrow and 4 beach tags. This house was in the quiet part of LBI but we liked that. A real trek to the street beach so we drove to a more accessible beach. If you are handicapped beware of the narrow steps inside the house and the long walk to the beach on that road. House had some problems. The screen on the front deck was broken and off the tracks entirely. As a result we could not open the front sliding door to the outside deck for ventilation without letting in anything flying around outside. The window in another location in the front was also inoperable. The backyard was nice but there was no shade or awning to allow sitting outside. The front door combo lock was broken the entire time we were there and therefore we couldn't enter through there but had to keep it locked continuously or open continuously.

The house had a great layout which was nice for several extended families to have their own space.

We went on a great beach vaction with our adult children and extended family this was a great location with everything g you need to have a great week with family , plenty of space beautiful house! We had a blast!

An LBI original, this bright, sunny house on a quiet street in Barnegat Light was a fun place for our family of 6 to hang out for a spring weekend. Lots of nautically themed decorations were fun to look at and artfully arranged. Two upper level decks provided great spaces to sit, sip our morning coffee and catch the breeze; one deck right off the kitchen had a large gas grill and high-top table with stools. Backyard living space was 10 out of 10, with a fire-pit plus seating, kiddie picnic table with umbrella, a couple of chaises, a roomy outside shower, and the piece de resistance: a tiki bar! Beds were comfy and had mattress enclosures (thank you!). The entrance to the ocean beach (life guards on duty in season) is one block away, with a path that winds through a lovely nature preserve with native plants and birds - this swale area behind the dunes is what an undisturbed barrier beach looks like. Very rare to see on hyper-developed LBI. It makes the walk to the water a little longer, but was a treat. Just be aware that if the wind is westerly there will be biting flies (as always on LBI no matter which beach you go to), so pack the bug repellent in your beach bag. Old Barney is a short drive away and the little nature trail there is lovely; the lighthouse was closed for extensive renovations while we were there, but is slated to open in fall of 2022. Overall a great house in a beautiful part of the island with a very responsive owner. Would definitely go back.

Perfect beach retreat at the end of the island. This house is located in the quiet and serene neighborhood of Barnegat Light. Situated in the middle block in short distance from the beach and bay. Walking distance to the lighthouse, ice cream, mini golf, bait and tackle shops and few places to eat. We were 3 couples in this 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 living room house. There was enough space for all of us inside and out. There were many amenities (all as described in the listing). We all enjoyed ourselves and hope to return next June.

We had a wonderful time! The house is very nice and a great location if you want to relax! Make sure you bring blankets and pillows, as well as sheets, we didn't realize. The stairs are a tight fit and not good for older people. BUT my parents stayed on the middle floor and used the outside stairs to avoid them all together. Well worth the price!
