Staying in the rain forest at this location was lovely. We could hear the water fall, rain and the wild life including the bats landing on the house. Sadly no monkey or sloth appearances. The owner spent a lot of time with us telling us of the history and his work creating this location. The roads in and out were a bit difficult and the location far from most of our interests but at the property we were comfortable despite no AC. The deck was extra-ordinary with its view and rocking chairs. The house with its many glass windows was unique and very special. The meals they prepared were very nice and the people and their dogs kind and sweet. The 5th sleeping space was not a bedroom which was a bit disappointing but overall we enjoyed it for its unique location, wildlife and it remote location.

This place was great. Curt was great. Breakfast was great. We will definitely book this place again.

Casa Cielo was a great way to start our trip to Costa Rica! Curt, the owner, was extremely friendly and made the entire process smooth and easy. He was very responsive and gave us great recommendations for things in the area. We had 4 adults and 7 kids, with plenty of room for everyone. While the location is about a half hour to an hour away from the adventures we did each day, we enjoyed being tucked away in the jungle. Curt even gave the kids a tour of the property and wildlife. Breakfast each morning was amazing and delicious! We really enjoyed our stay!

Cool has created an entire universe in the forest. It’s super cool and we really enjoyed ourselves. I had been worried about the lack of AC but that ended up fine. Curt, and the housekeeper Helen are super amenable and generous. The road is a bit bumpy, but we managed that as well. It’s 30 min from anything we wanted to do, which we knew, and worked for us. All in all, a great stay. If we’d come back, we’d stay there again.

The house and property are idyllic. Curt's hospitality just added magic to an amazing experience. Curt's staff prepared several meals for us and they did not disappoint. Highly recommended!
