What can I say that hasn't already been said before in all of the other reviews? The house is immaculate and very nicely decorated! The view is fabulous! The beds are very comfortable! The location is wonderful with easy/quick access to downtown Venice, Venice Beach and Nokomis Beach by car or bike. A big plus for me was the proximity to the Legacy Trail which I biked often going both north (to hike in Oscar Scherer State Park) and south to both Shamrock Park and to Caspersen Park. Lastly, the owners and their two sons were all incredibly nice and very helpful. I highly recommend staying here! Thanks Schane and Christine!

What a wonderful place! Everything in the house felt so clean that it felt totally brand new. The house had absolutely everything that we needed to enjoy our week long stay. Our favorite thing about the house is the view of the water from the main living area and every window in both bedrooms. The covered back screened in patio was a wonderful spot to enjoy morning coffee or a meal while watching the wildlife over the water. We took advantage of the kayaks and the fishing poles that Shane had set up and waiting for us to use. He even came over to help get us started fishing! When booking this trip, I debated whether to stay a block from the beach or to stay here and I have absolutely no regrets about choosing this house. It is truly a gem, and I hope to stay here again next time we visit the area!

It was our great pleasure to stay in this lovely home over the Christmas holidays. Schane and Christine are amazing hosts who provided great service and communication prior to check-in and during our stay. The home has been recently rehabbed and everything was done first class. Beautiful finishes, sparkling clean, lovely view-all in a great location. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Venice/Nokomis area!

This was a work trip for us but this home made it so much more enjoyable. After working 10 hour days this is the perfect place to relax, unwind and cook a great meal to eat out back with the waterfront view.

The house was great, everything you need from the kitchen equipment to the bed linens it’s all there. We cooked each night, did use the grill for shrimp & a steak. No complaints, I would suggest a king size bed (kinda tight being in a Queen) and some better silverware. The place is great I highly recommend you staying there.

The house was wonderful. Clean, Completely and tastefully redone recently. House is laid out very well. Extremely convenient to Nokomis beach and Venice. Owner lives next door but is never in your way. Reassuring if you need immediate help with something.

Perfect place for a girls trip. Clean, comfortable, and plenty of amenities. The owners were close and very attentive and responsive to our needs. Would definitively stay here again.

This was our second time in this lovely home. Chris and Schane are super hosts and have created a beautiful vacation spot on serene Curry Creek. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, it is exactly as pictured—coastal cheerful, spotlessly clean, with plenty of room for your belongings. Because the home was recently renovated, everything is new and in excellent working order. The owners live next door, are wonderful and respond immediately should you have a question or need anything. The location is central to numerous beaches and activities you will want to enjoy, or just sit on the porch and view the abundant wildlife. If you bike or hike, the popular Legacy Trail is a half mile away. This home is the perfect place for you to enjoy your Florida vacation!

This house was everything we hoped it would be. We enjoyed cooking out on the grill and eating in the screened in patio. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and is clean and bright. It is conveniently located near the beach as well as nearby Venice/Nokomis restaurants and stores. What a fun week we had!

This property is exactly as advertised and may be better. Being able to take the kayaks out right from the front lawn was an amazing experience. Quiet, comfortable beds, and fully equipped kitchen all made for a comfortable and luxurious day. Shane was wonderful to deal with. We will definitely book this property again.

Our group of 4 adults really enjoyed our short stay at Shanes place. It is a beautiful setting off the canal with everything you could possibly need. It was effortless checking in and the folder notes explained procedures and resources very clearly. Nothing was lacking here-- kudo's to Shane!!

The location of this house is on a quiet cul-de-sac near a great walking/biking trail and not far from the beach. The owners are friendly and responsive. We had a fantastic two weeks.

This was our second time staying at this home and we loved it both times. The place is clean, comfortable with a beautiful view of the water. We loved being able to kayak every day and the location was very convenient to the bike path.

This house is perfectly located for couples or small families visiting the greater Venice area. The backyard is calming with a canal out back perfect for enjoying early morning coffee and evening glass of wine. The hosts are terrific, live nearby, and know the area well if you need help navigating it. A big thumbs up!

We had the pleasure of enjoying this home for a month. The home has been updated with beautiful features and sits at the end of cul de sac in quiet neighborhood right on the river. We fished from the dock took trips to the beach. Great seafood near by too. The owners are wonderful people. You will not be disappointed!

This is a great house to stay in and close to many beaches and activities . Our boys loved fishing right in the backyard . The owners were awesome and easy to work with . WE WILL BE BACK !!

We keep returning because this house try has it all. It's consistently spotless, perfectly decorated, has a serene view, and an excellent location. On top of that, the hosts have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and convenient- there has not been a single thing we have needed. Simply the best!!!

The outdoor screened porch is perfect to enjoy the tranquility and view of curry creek and it’s inhabitants! The house is well equipped and also has kayaks and fishing rods. This property is amazing and absolutely spectacular. The home was clean with all of the little items included that we usually bring with us (and did...just didn't use) like paper towels, garbage bags, hand soap. The kitchen is very equipped although we didn't cook at all - enjoyed the seafood restaurants that are abundant in Nokomis and Venice. Homeowners and their boys were helpful and kind and it felt like we were renting from friends. We enjoyed the kayaks and got to hang out with manatees one day. I would highly recommend this home for your stay in the area.

My husband and I enjoyed 6 relaxing days at this beautifully updated home. Located on a peaceful creek , we enjoyed the quiet and beauty of the surrounding nature. Our host Schane was very helpful with directions and local places, even though we we pretty familiar with the area, it was good to know about some new things. I caught a big catfish in the creek with a rod that was provided by our host. We also had the use of 3 kayaks, but unfortunately ran out of time and didn't use them. The house is located to quick access to Nokomis beach and to Venice Beach a bit south. The home is just as it is pictured on the site and actually feels larger than the square footage. We would definitely return to this great place. The beds were comfortable, it would've been great to have a king bed in the master instead of a queen bed. We usually dismiss renting a place with a queen since it is too small, but the house looked so nice we went ahead and booked it anyway. It was very clean and we had no problem with checking in or out. A very pleasant stay.
