Widok z naszego pokoju średni bo zamiast na ogród to na budujący się obok dom. Dodatkowo do każdej pozycji w menu każdorazowo była doliczane 21% prowizji za obsługę co mi się średnio podobało. Powinno być już wliczone w cenę w menu

The Wakanda was our favourite stay whilst we were in Bali. The room was beautiful, the views around the property stunning and the service outstanding. We can’t wait to come back. Special mention to our fantastic guide Kadek who taught us some local words and took us to Uma Anyar waterfall where we were privileged to swim under this magnificent natural wonder (an activity offered by the resort).

We needed to have researched the location better. It was quite far from our booked activities and central ubud. With the traffic it meant more time spent travelling than we had anticipated. Very peaceful though so perfect if relaxation is what you’re after.

Etwas wenig vegetarische Speisen im Restaurant zur Auswahl. Waschbecken war etwas undicht. Aktuell ist eine Baustelle nebenan. Dadurch hatte man teilweise auch schon morgens Baustellenlärm.

Wir hatten eine Villa mit eigenem Pool. Der Ausblick war der Wahnsinn und das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Das hotel bietet viele kostenlose Aktivitäten, wovon wir aber keine genutzt haben. Ein großer Pluspunkt ist, dass man sich das Frühstück (wahrscheinlich aber nur wenn man in einer Villa übernachtet) direkt zur Villa bestellen und dort frühstücken kann, außerdem hatten wir ein kostenloses floating breakfast! Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und für jeden was dabei! Das Bett ist riesig und sehr bequem. Roller können direkt am Hotel gebucht werden.

Unsere Meinung nach ist der Preis pro Nacht nicht ganz gerechtfertigt. In vorherigen Bewertungen haben wir gelesen, dass die Zimmer etwas seltsam riechen, jetzt wissen wir was gemeint ist. Ich bin mir nicht sicher was genau so gerochen hat, aber wenn man empfindlich mit Gerüchen ist, könnte das ein Problem sein. Wir hatten leider Flecken auf der Bettdecke, diese wurde aber gleich am nächsten Tag getauscht! Leider waren auch große Ameisen im Zimmer, was uns persönlich nicht gestört hat … aber bei fast 200€/Nacht könnte man meinen, gibt es sowas nicht. Wir mussten einmal 45 Minuten aufs Frühstück warten - wahrscheinlich haben sie unsere Bestellung vergessen. Wenn man nichts vor hat ist das kein Stress, aber wenn man los muss - blöd!

Nothing to fault in my eyes

Amazing resort, everything was so beautiful the room, the pool, the garden, we truly enjoyed staying there. All staff is extremely polite and welcoming, special thanks to Mila 🙏 Breakfast is great, there are a few types of breakfast to chose from, variety of juices and fruits. Laundry service on site, clothes were brought back the next day all nicely folded and smelling like coconut 🥥. We had a Balinese massage on site as well which we highly recommend. We were welcomed with a cake and coconut drink and special honeymoon decorations and flower bathtub. Room and all resort overall was very clean and well kept. They also have a lot of other facilities on site that we didn’t use but are a great plus. A corner of paradise, I would like to return there one day.

Because of the high humidity the room smelled a bit funky but after a day or two it went away. The resort is situated in a more quiet part of Ubud which is nice if you want to rest and relax but also it is a bit far from the shops and restaurants.

Nice and helpful staff. Breakfast with lot of choice. Free Yoga is good since there are not much to do there, it’s far from the downtown.

Don’t expect they have any Manager to support, help and solve the prob when you meet the prob, Manager is the “King, they can criticize guest if we had the prob with hotel service. Room is big but there is no sun in the patio, literally can’t dry clothes at all. And my room next to a construction side, it’s ok no nice view but with that situation, I think hotel should let guests know in advance. Be aware of the free benefit for photo shooting they mentioned, unless you want to pay for the photo otherwise don’t see it as a free benefit.

I like the serenity of the place and the hospitality of the staff at thewakanda. They are very attentive to our needs, friendly with a smile on their face at all time. We also enjoy the floating breakfast which is on point for insta-worthy photo. We have the whole pool all to ourselves as they book the slot for us. We also love the free afternoon tea that they service daily.

The area is excluded. Great place if you are looking for a place close to nature. It will take about half an hour ride to reach the city area and is very quiet at night. The room is dim and very romantic. Wish to have more light at the basin area so I could do my make up.

Een hele fijne locatie voor als je de drukte wilt ontwijken. Heel klein maar van alle gemakken voorzien. Genoten van het heerlijke eten, aardige personeel en het niets doen! Fijn dat je gebruik kon maken van de shuttle service naar Ubud.

De kamers zien er super mooi uit, goed gestyled. Verder is het personeel aardig

De vochtigheid in de kamers. Mega vochtig, je rook en voelde het gewoon. Nadat we vroegen of we een andere kamer mochten, werd ons verteld dat er maar 1 andere vrij was, die rook hetzelfde. Toen was er plots nog 1 vrij, dit was 'echt de laatste'. Daarna was de ander toch weer bezet, na lang aandringen kregen we een andere kamer waarbij het vocht niet was. Na 1 nacht moesten we weer verhuizen. Ook kom je niet tot rust aan het zwembad door alle werkzaamheden om het resort heen, je ontsnapt niet van het geluid. We kwamen hier omdat we een duurdere accommodatie wilden boeken voor de laatste twee nachten om écht te relaxen. Dat is door deze dingen niet echt gelukt.

Het kleinschalige en rustige karakter is heerlijk. De spa is super. Sumer aan de receptie staat altijd voor je klaar, net zoals Aris. De fietstocht naar de waterval moet je zeker doen. Een dag op pad geweest met Dodik de chauffeur, was helemaal Top!

De chef van het restaurant kookte niet helemaal naar mijn smaak. De diverse ontbijten waren daarentegen wel weer goed!

Unfortunately there is a construction going on right next to the hotel.

We stayed 5 nights at this beautiful Hotel outside of Ubud 🌴 We loved the location as it is more quiet than Ubud City and we loved enjoying the stunning rice field view 🫶🏼 They offer free shuttle to Ubud City Center every day, so it’s easy to go around 🙌🏼 The staff were super friendly and we felt welcome from the beginning - thank you a lot! ☺️ A big plus was the super yum complimentary breakfast - it was various and plenty and we enjoyed it to the fullest 🤤 The rooms are spacious and clean and you have a really nice view 🌱 We would definitely stay there again 😍

One thing that bothered us was the noises coming from other rooms during the night. The rooms aren’t very sound proof :/ But they provide you with earplugs so it’s not that big of a deal.

The atmosphere and the resort itself is a Gem hidden in the small village. We have a wonderful experience here, so relax and so calm 😍😍 ~ Friendly and helpful staffs all around the hotel ~ delicious food and various of choices ~ super clean and comfy room ~ well maintained facilities I m missing it now when I writing review, the resort make me feel so good and will definitely come back again 🫶🏻🫶🏻

The Wakanda is set among the rice paddies and is a serene & peaceful area outside of the busyness of Ubud. The rooms were lovely with the exception of the bed.. Great size, however very hard. The bath is beautiful and if you get a room overlooking the pool area it's quite picturesque. Great Day Spa and Yoga Shala, however Yoga is only available 3 times a week. They have bicycles to go on leisurely rides in the surrounding village. They have a shuttle service into Ubud which is fabulous. The pool is divine. The food in the restaurant was quite disappointing, especially the breakfast (included) which is Indonesian and sadly not cooked fresh as ordered. I rate this property ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und man hatte eine tolle Auswahl. Ruhige Lage. Toller Pool, Garten und Spabereich.

Im Bad roch es leider nach Fäkalien, war bei der offenen Raumgestaltung schon sehr störend.

There is a lot of construction happening around the place and my view was directly onto a very ugly and very noisy construction site. I think that for the time that this is going on they should not put guests on that side of the hotel because it is very disappointing and unpleasant. There was a lot of noise from the construction during the day from about 8am. Music and loud banging/drilling. It was impossible so relax in the room and I was unable to sit and enjoy the balcony because of the noise and ugly view of the worksite.

Le lieu est vraiment sublime c’est un paradis de verdure calme et reposant. Le dépaysement est total, le personnel aux petits soins pour vous, les chambres sont soigneusement décorée et le petit déjeuner avec une vue époustouflante.

Het personeel was enorm vriendelijk echt heel fijn. Ze waren erg geïnteresseerd en wilde altijd helpen. Het uitzicht was formidabel! Je bent omringd met rijstvelden. De kamers waren ruim, schoon en modern met een prachtig stenen bad. Ook het personeel in het restaurant was erg vriendelijk. Ontbijt menu was erg groot zodat je altijd iets anders kan kiezen. Wij vonden het erg prettig dat de locatie buiten Ubud ligt, lekker weg van de drukte en hectiek. Een Grab taxi was heel gemakkelijk te boeken.

Helaas was er veel herrie door de bouwwerkzaamheden naast onze kamer. Al heeft dit ons verblijf niet minder fijn gemaakt. Daarnaast vonden wij de bedden niet heel comfortabel maar desondanks hebben we ons verblijf verlengd.
