Great place to stay with close proximity to everything Asheville has to offer. The house is extremely clean and well taken care of would recommend this place to anyone.

The place was Beautiful inside and out very clean. Nice fire pit with a beautiful view. Got to see a little wildlife on the property very cool. This home is in a beautiful, yet easily accessible location. You're secluded and not close to other homes and the view is very nice. The house was well maintained and well stocked, with plenty of nice touches that make you feel like you're welcomed and valued as a guest. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, the game room, and the covered porch. The owners Charlie and Barbara were very in welcoming and helpful. The home has plenty of areas to relax and spread out, whether you're wanting to watch a movie, read a book, play games, or just drink coffee by the fireplace. We have no complaints at all and would highly recommend this property.

This property is beautiful inside and out, you can tell that it's very well maintained. We met with the owners, Charlie and Barbara, briefly when we checked in, they gave us some pointers and then offered their number in case we needed anything (which we didn't). The property was very clean; my friend and I were amazed at the lack of fingerprints on the mirrored closet doors. We always like to stay in vacation rentals so we can cook our own meals, the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cookware, dishes and utensils. The only thing we had to pick up was some disposal containers for storing leftovers. We visited the area with another couple and this house was perfect. My friend and I were able to chill in the main living room upstairs while the "game room" downstairs was a big hit with the guys with a pool table and a beer fridge we had no trouble filling up with beer from several of the local Asheville breweries. We used the hot tub a few times, it was wonderful, and we even saw the maintenance guy come clean/service it one morning. We visited the Biltmore House, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Black Mountain and various local breweries, all were within a 30 minute drive. We've visited the Asheville area several times and this vacation rental is by far our favorite. I highly recommend this rental and will definitely check to see if it's available next time we visit the area.

“Big Red” is a perfect place to stay for comfort, coziness and relaxation! The home has wonderful views from the porches, and I loved waking up to hearing birds singing while I drank coffee on the porch. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day of hiking. The hosts were wonderful and greeted us for a tour. Very easy check in and out. Overall a wonderful stay and I’ll be back but next time I’ll stay longer! I didn’t want to leave!

We had a group of 7 retired ladies who all graduated from Miami University in 1970. This property was perfect for our 75 year birthday celebration. The house was spacious, clean, well-stocked, and had so many amenities! Our hosts, Barbara and Charlie, were the best. They took care of our needs and were so friendly. The views from the upper patios were amazing. The grounds were immaculate and we enjoyed a night around the big fire-pit, which had the firewood provided. We would definitely recommend this property to any large group having a family get-together or a reunion of friends. You won’t be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay, the house and the views are Gorgeous. Charlie and Barbara were very kind and accommodating, they live next door to the house but left us alone to enjoy ourselves.

We stayed at Charlie and Barbara’s beautiful house very recently with my sister and her family and LOVED it! The house was perfect for us. 3 bedrooms on the main floor with kitchen and living room, and the deck with grill, chairs and table gave us a gorgeous Mountain View. We spent almost all our home time outside on the deck. The hot tub was delightful and appreciated after a long day of walking around Asheville and the Biltmore. The game room on the lower level has a pool table, foosball table, a set of bunk beds, and a large sectional with huge TV. It’s only a 10 minute drive to Black Mountain in one direction and the Blue Ridge Parkway in the other. And a 15 minute drive to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore. Grocery shopping and gas is about a mile away, so everything is quite convenient! They are wonderful hosts, a class act, and the house is well-supplied, including cooking spices and a “starter pack” of local beer! Don’t hesitate to rent this place; you won’t regret it!

This was a great place for a family getaway! Charlie and Barbara met us at check in and gave us a tour of the property. We enjoyed all the amenities, especially the hot tub and fire pit. Our family loved the location which is just close enough to town but far enough away to the enjoy the privacy the property offers. We hope to stay here again.

We had a group of 6 adults Directions were not clear but when we found it it was beautiful. Our host met us at the door gave us a welcome drink and a tour of the home! The house was spacious the basement was a tv/ game room which we enjoyed lots! Definitely worth renting 10 out of 10!,

Beautiful and spacious - we literally never left once we arrived. So much to do to truly get away and have peaceful downtime.

This was a wonderful place to stay! We came with 4 couples as a retreat and we all had a blast. The location is exactly as it was described on VRBO. It was a clean and well cared for property. ALL the beds in the house slept amazing, most comfortable any of us have had at a rental! The owners were very friendly and hospitable. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone!

Beautiful home 15 min. from downtown Ashville.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this property. Very clean, spacious, modern and well-equipped. Enjoyed the views, hot tub and fire pit, as well as the pool table and foosball! Will definitely stay here again. The only small thing I would add is some plastic drinkware to use in the rec room and outside at the hot tub and fire pit. Thanks for a great stay!

8 of us got together to explore the Asheville area. The house was amazing. Ample space for 8 guests. Amazing views. Lots to do at the house (fooseball, pool, hottub, even a piano!), and right near Asheville. It was the perfect launching pad for hiking in the surrounding area, rafting down nearby rivers, seeing some waterfalls and enjoying many of the breweries around town. Would recommend this location to any decent sized group looking to hang in the mountains.

The home was perfect for our girls weekend getaway! The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals together. We relaxed in the hot tub, read on the porch, and watched sports and played games on the big couch. It was only a short drive to Catawba Falls. Black Mountain, and Asheville sites. I would definitely book again!
