Location was perfect. House was great for our family of 5. Some of the furniture was dated and could use new stuff. Kitchen was stocked and had some pantry basics which always makes such a big difference. Everything was clean. Would come back !

This house was perfect for our weekend. There was plenty of room for 5 of us to set up our space and scrapbook. It was lovely being so close to Nye beach. The house was comfortable and stocked with all we needed.

The cottage was located in the best location and superseded my expectations. It’s in great condition and really well maintained and had everything you need.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The living room and dining room were plenty big for the seven of us. And there was a view of the ocean between houses--and it happened to be right where we could see the sun set, which was nice. The kitchen was well-stocked and even had a few staples--although a 12-inch frying pan would have been nice. Beds were comfortable and showers good. The upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms were quite nice. The downstairs bedrooms had double doors that did not open and close easily, but they were okay. The downstairs bathroom was small, but functional. We had a problem the first morning after breakfast. We smelled gas in the kitchen, but the burners on the gas stove all pointed to off. I texted the office, and someone came out within a few minutes. He said one burner had a knob that was bent and so we had to turn it past Off to actually turn it off. We were impressed with how quickly they dealt with the issue. Communication was excellent throughout. The house is on a steep little hill, so we got our exercise returning from the beach. But it was a short walk to the ocean, and we also enjoyed walking around the Nye Beach area. We do recommend this house.

This was our first opportunity to choose a home instead of a hotel. Room for the whole family. The cute little yard served as a great place for the Littles to play when the grown ups were worn out from beach duty. Room for everyone to gather but also space. Kitchen was laid out well, plenty of linens to meet the needs of all.

Great space, very close to the beach ,and shops.

I loved that it was close to the beach and shops. It was mostly clean and convenient for a family. Heaters in bathrooms were nice. Tall people will be comfortable in the showers. Lots of empty cabinet space in kitchen.

I have stayed in quite a few different Vacasa VRBO units. It seems that they are all very nice well cared for clean five stars there's only one thing everyone I've ever stayed in the furniture was like a torture rack. We love your services though,

We are a group of older ladies (60 to 76) who attend the wine festival in Newport. This house was great for us.

This house was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 5 kids. 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with upstairs and downstairs areas gave us the space we needed. Beds were comfortable and everything very clean. The location is good, just a short walk to Nye Beach shops and the beach. A friendly neighbor cat came over to the front porch for pets. A couple of minor things, which didn't bother us much - the dishwasher top rack was broken... And we couldn't find a vegetable peeler.

Overall the house was clean. The bedrooms were all well equipped and the bathrooms were nice.

Ease of working with Vacasa when we ran into issues. Lots of room for us to spread out.

Great home very close to many fun shops and dining. We had a really wonderful time. Though this home is owned vacasa which, as we are in a housing crisis, is displeasing. We will not stay in properties like this in the future for moral reasons.

Good location, little view of the ocean, plenty of beds and bathrooms, well-equipped & clean.

Very clean, good sized bedrooms, downstairs shower curtain needs to be a bit longer, kitchen is very equipped, great location to the beach and several restaurants.

Large space to accommodate everyone, not 1 but 2 washer and dryer to get laundry done. Very happy with this house

This humble looking house is quite spacious inside, yet cozy at the same time. Nicely finished basement and the upstairs provided ample accommodations for our family of seven. Three bathrooms, nice kitchen and a living area, plenty of bedroom space. The weather wasn't the best, so we spent more time indoors than expected. Very pleased overall.

Able to walk to the beach, shops & restaurants. Clean & comfortable.

This was a weird mish-mash of classic beach house (random games and books, lumpy old furniture) and corporate (no information at all that you'd expect in a vacation rental - no "local attractions and restaurants guide," no "here's how to use things in the house" - I'm sure the little gas fireplace is great if you can figure out how to use it, which we couldn't. Two standouts, though - three bathrooms, NO BATHTUB, and for some reason the dining room table is covered in heavy plastic, which made us immediately dub it The Murder Table.

The house was very clean and a great location! Everything we needed was provided for us at the house. Thank you for your hospitality and we will keep this house in mind if we ever return to Nye Beach!

This is our second year staying that the cottage. We love the location for quick walks to the beach.

The home was more than we expected. The kitchen was superbly equipped. Two levels allowed kids downstairs, adult upstairs for sleeping. Having three bathrooms made it much easier. However, communicating with vacasa was frustrating. All the messages that had a "button" for a reply or some action resulted in error messages when pressed. Beyond annoying. The only thing that would keep us from renting the house next year would be Vacasa!

8-person extended family stayed for 3 nights and this was an excellent set-up in a wonderful location. Kids enjoyed having their own spaces in the basement with room to spread out a puzzle. Three bathrooms were very appreciated. The dining table had room for all of us to sit together and kitchen had everything we needed. It was easy to walk to the beach (bare minimum of stairs) or to restaurants and shops in the historic district. Whether we needed supplies at Walmart or wanted to visit the aquarium, everything was a 5 min drive. Kids loved the endless beach and often had it to ourselves. Kids also fell in love with the neighborhood cat. Highly recommend this listing.

The house worked out perfect for my family the suite downstairs was perfect for my daughter and her family. Privacy for them and quite for my mom and us upstairs. walking distance to the beach and quiet neighborhood.

Great location to celebrate our mother’s 70th birthday. She loved that the shops were in walking distance and the beach was easily accessible. Also liked that there was a nice pub located around the corner, great atmosphere for a bite and quick drink. Would stay again!

Property was exactly as advertised and we enjoyed our stay.
