Loved the log cabin and the running stream was a great bonus!!

Beautiful little cabin, very clean and relaxing.

We could not have been more pleased! The location was ideal - quiet, peaceful, relaxing. The cabin was perfect - clean, comfortable, and impressively well-appointed. We would have loved to stay a couple more days!

The place was wonderful. So peaceful and secluded.

This lovely cabin was situated nicely on a free-flowing creek that we enjoyed from the deck. The small metal cafe table and chairs were nice enough for dining but not so much for relaxing (comfortable chairs would be a nice addition - we brought the Adirondack-style chairs up from the fire pit area to suffice). The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed. Loved all the windows! Though the cabin is located next to the drive into the neighborhood, there were very few cars that passed by - we barely noticed them. The hot tub was a wonderful addition as was the washer and dryer. The location was perfect for our needs being close to the Nantahala River and other destinations we wanted to explore. Our greatest dissatisfaction was with the bed. The mattress sagged to the middle causing poor sleep and a backache in the morning (we folded up a quilt and placed it down the middle of the bed which helped somewhat with the problem). For me, the quality of the bed is one of the most important features of a rental property so this was a big disappointment. If the mattress was replaced, I would happily rent this property again and recommend to friends and family.

The cabin exceeded our expectations! It was cozy, clean, comfortable and well stocked with all basic necessities. It has a gated, paved entrance and is very private and serene. We loved listening to the surrounding creek around the cabin and enjoyed the hot tub. It was the perfect place to unwind, relax and recharge. The sofa and bed was very comfortable. Communication with Valerie was excellent and check-in and out was effortless. The trash disposal site was nearby and not an issue. My husband and I visit this area once or twice a year, as he loves to drive the beautiful highways and of course, Tail of the Dragon. We will definitely be back!

2nd time staying here and we absolutely love everything about it! Will be back for sure.

Book it. Do yourself a favor and book it. If you’re looking for a quite peaceful weekend get away for two in the perfect cabin, this is it.

My wife and I spent four peaceful nights relaxing in this cozy pine cabin. The indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit kept us warm. Not to mention the two person jacuzzi felt great after a day of hiking, I would recommend this destination for a couple’s retreat.

This was an amazing experience. Beautiful location along with a true “creek song” sound at all times and peace. This was the perfect getaway for my wife and I.

Lovely setting and beautiful chalet with all of the amenities. The house was between two mountain streams with a literal wall of rhododendrons running all of the way up a mountainside. Convenient to attractions in any direction and the beautiful nantahala. Would love to go back.

Lots of glass including full glass door that faces the road, with NO window coverings. This cabin sits right on the road, with a barely trickling creek on both sides. The fire pit is in the driveway, next to where you park your car. You don't sit next to the creek. The camp cook grill, is next to the fire pit, about 30 feet from the cabin, which is inconvenient for cooking. There is no room to put your toiletries in the bathroom. There is a table in the bedroom, but not convenient for accessing your toothbrush, etrc. But most of all, there are RULES posted everywhere, that state additional fees will be assessed if not met. You need to take your trash Several Mile's down the road, which is only open during specific hours, and closed on Sundays, so beware if you are leaving on a Sunday. This property was not for me. I will not return.

Was the best place for a short two day anniversary weekend. Very secluded, gated access. Can’t see another property from here and only saw two cars up the road the whole weekend and one was the power company after a storm. Property manager was very responsive and handled the power outage issue(storm, not their fault) quickly even though she was across the country. Definitely recommend for couples just wanting some alone time or for anyone to simply relax and not be bothered. Will stay again.

Windows to the roof, every detail well thought out, but most of all we enjoyed the woods, hottub, fire pit, quiet, and the constant stream songs.

My Husband and I enjoyed this cabin very much it is absolutely perfect for a couples get away. It was so very peaceful there and had plenty of privacy and very easy to get to. Cabin was clean and had everything you needed while there. I highly reccommend.

Well equipped cabin with relaxing creek sounds and big windows looking out to deep green woods. Convenient to paddling, hiking and fishing. Gated entrance. Great getaway!

The host provided a ton of extra goodies for the stay including candy, local recommendations, and coffee! The property is clean, quiet, and private. The host provided plenty of conveniently placed instructions on how to use all of the amenities (fireplace, hot tub, washer/dryer). For a cabin it was very upscale with huge windows and back patio area. Communication with the property management was quick and friendly.

My husband and I rented this house for our Anniversary weekend getaway. We loved the house, and soothing vibe it brings with the open views of nature. It was just as described in the listing. The only thing we had trouble with was the Keurig machine, it takes a degree to get that thing working lol. I also, would have liked more lighting in the bathroom around the vanity. This was not anything that would stop me from booking again. The house is a little peace of paradise and I look forward to a return visit in the future. Thank you for sharing you house with us.

Such a cute, cozy little cabin. Very peaceful with creeks on both sides. We had plans to go hiking at least one day, but we chose to relax at the cabin. Will definitely be back!

We stayed here while we took whitewater kayaking lessons at the NOC and it was the perfect "base camp" for us. We meal prepped breakfast and dinner for the week in the kitchen, used the hot tub to soothe sore muscles every night, and enjoyed the sound of the creeks out on the back deck. There was also a washer and dryer which was very convenient. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Amazing place!

Loved this cabin and it's location. I dont want anyone to know about this spot because I loved it so much! Very clean, up to date, lovely decorations. WE will definitely be back soon.
