Lovely weekend with the children

I think the words, "shabby chic" apply here. Although nothing too shabby, the fabrics in the blinds are lovely, I think its the wood floors that give it this look. The berooms are lovely and comfortable, although the electric shower in the downstairs suite was a bit poor on power. The lounge accommodated our family group of 7 well, with comfy chairs and settee. The garden is small, just adequate for older children really, theres a drop and a wall, which might make it difficult for toddlers, but nice views over village green and boating lake. Its in a good position for activities beach, boating and mini golf. Kitchen is well equipped. Our stay here worked very well.

Perfect location. Great access to the lake, easy walk to the beach and golf club (for mini golf). Enclosed garden was perfect for the children.

Perfect location, nice views from most of the bedrooms. Character features. Good bathrooms. Oven quite small if cooking for a large group, but we would stay again.

Had a lovely couple of days with friends to celebrate our 50th birthdays. The sanctuary was perfect for what we needed. Very clean and comfortable, plenty of room for us all. We were very lucky with the weather so enjoyed sitting in the garden looking at the lovely view over the Meare. Dolphin inn was a handy few minutes walk and we enjoyed walking around the village. The beach is a very short walk and we had a lovely walk along the coast to Aldeburgh.

We loved this property it was close to family so easy for everyone to come over and spend some time with us. The house was perfect everything we could have needed was included. Hope to go back someday

We had a fabulous stay at The Sanctuary. We went with our family for a few days relaxation and found the house yo be perfect for the 9 of us. Grandchildren loved exploring the house.
