plenty of room and comfortable beds. great location for exploring Sheffield and Cradle Mountain. Lovely back garden to relax in.

Suggestion: a long mirror somewhere would be handy.

I liked that this accommodation was pet friendly. The house was warm and cosy when we arrived. We had great communication from the owner who checked in with us via text at check-in and checkout. Some breakfast items and snacks were provided which we weren't expecting which was a lovely surprise. The games and puzzles provided were also an added nice touch.

Nothing really. Could do with an extra towel rail in the bathroom, but this didn't impact our stay in any way.

This is a fantastic house. Lovely, clean and spacious. Lots of extras included, we loved staying here.

The owners have updated and tastefully redecorated the cottage, whilst retaining its period charm. It was SPOTLESS throughout. They provided many, many thoughtful extras (such as fresh eggs, bread, cereals, chocolate biscuits, choc treats, toiletries…. and SO much more.) Security was excellent, with a lockable front gate, secure off street parking and a motion sensor. Michelle is a great communicator, replying promptly to any messages. The cottage has a great kitchen with lots of crockery, cooking utensils, glasses and quality cutlery. It just has a certain homely ambience that you notice upon entry. Plenty of room for the two of us, or for a family. Wished we could have stayed for a whole week. Go there!

Excellent position, nice touches with basic food items being left, great yard, easy street entry, close to everything, private.

If the back yard had a gate so that it was completely enclosed it would be perfect when having your doggie with you.

location in the middle of Sheffield, close to Lake Barrington for rowing. New kitchen is great. New front fence and entrance gate looks great and offers more privacy. Always neat and tidy. I have stayed there 6 times now and it is my favorite in the Sheffield/Lake Barrington area.

Michelle was very generous with breakfast provisions and it was appreciated. She provided fresh eggs, a loaf of bread, cereal and milk. Her home was lovely, clean and cosy. She checked in on us at the start and at the end of our stay to ensure we had everything we needed which was so nice of her.

The backyard wasn't fenced off. It wasn't an issue however it would have been nice to let our dog roam freely without having to worry about her running out onto the main road. It was still a lovely yard and we are appreciative that Michelle welcomed us and our family dog into her home.

It was so super clean and tidy with all the comforts of home, only wish we could of stayed a few more nights to enjoy its comforts.

Location. Cleanliness. Great selection of breakfast provisions. Comfy bed and couch. We had a lovely weekend away with our dog and felt very welcomed. The weather wasn't great for sightseeing so hanging out at the accommodation was a good option. Oh yes and I won at air hockey..... :-) Yes there is an air hockey table!

A bit pricey for winter season but the place was very comfortable!

It was extremely cosy and beautiful house…exceeded expectations and host was incredibly welcoming. We loved this place.

Cannot fault one bit

The owners have gone to a lot of trouble to make people feel comfortable. Fully functional kitchen with cool things like spices, sauces, oil, cookbooks, cereal and even a loaf of bread, eggs, chocolates and more. Board games, air hockey, books to read... it was lovely. Big TV and fast wifi. Heater was good. Water pressure in shower was good, with plenty of hot water. Beds were comfortable and warm. Close to town and you could Cradle mountain from the front! Way cheaper than staying in Devonport, and was only 30 minutes drive away.

The house is very well appointed with comfortable beds, laundry facilities, entertainment options, cookware and generous breakfast provisions. Shops, cafes and restaurants are only a few minutes walk away

If you are a light sleeper, you might avoid the front bedroom .. but this is a small trade-off for proximity to town on the main street ... (and the moderate traffic tends to settle down overnight)

It is a warm and welcoming cottage that is super comfortable and charming. Hosts are very attentive and helpful. If could give higher stars I would. Thoroughly recommend and would stay there again
