- location IF you want to enjoy some rest away from busy santa teresa downtown - spacious rooms, nicely decorated

- location, the road to get there is really tough, so you can feel very isolated if you want to enjoy the santa teresa vibe - pool and sunterrace was a bit dirty/messy - shared kitchen is really basic

Beautiful place with great amenities! Room was spacious and comfortable, the pool was perfect to spend the day by, good kitchen, GREAT air conditioning, wifi. Leo the owner was very kind and his dog was fun to have around

you need an ATV to get up and down the hill, but almost everyone rents one anyways, so not a big deal

The view from the property was very nice and you could see the pacific. The room was very beautiful furnished.

There is not a lot of privacy in the room because you could see through the curtains very good (only one curtain was not like this but that wasnt enough). Because of that you couldnt make the room dark and they didnt turn off the light outside of the rooms. So it was very bright at night.

The famous French quote “Je ne regrette rien” does unfortunately not apply here at all. Instead, I would rather say, I regret the 3 nights I stayed there. First of all, the location is very inconvenient as the place is located at the top of a hill and the road (if it deserves to be even called like this) is really bumby and rocky, but to be fair – we were anticipating that by reading the hotel information. However, just wanting to let you know that you have no other choice as to rent an ATV / 4x4 car unless you want to walk every time 30min uphill / 15min downhill. Secondly, the pictures of the hotel and its facilities on the homepage are far from the truth. The pool was dirty, the lounge area was messy, and the surroundings look more like a construction site than calming, tropical environment. When we arrived, the owner informed us that the curtain rod fell off, but they will fix it – our whole stay the so-called “repair” was that they duck-taped it to the wall and only put up one narrow curtain (otherwise the whole construction would have fallen down), so in the morning you would wake up early, because the room was flooded with light. Beyond that, we then discovered that the AC was leeking and the whole room was moist and everything in it – pillows, towels - smelled musty. Again the promise, that they will fix it – in the end we ended up emptying the air conditioning fluid by ourselves so at least it stopped dripping. I think it goes without saying that the state of cleanliness of the communal kitchen did not exactly help our experience either ;) I know that one cannot expect European standards (although the owner is French), but the price performance ratio is far from justified and I would not recommend it at all.

The owner is a friendly guy who helped us with transport to the main street at arrival and departure.

The location is very inconvenient. The hotel is located at the top of a hill, and unless you want to walk 30-40 minutes uphill, you will be depending on renting an ATV (which will add about 70 dollars per day). Be aware that there are 2 hotels with the approximate same name and with the same pictures on Google maps- this hotel is the furthest away from santa teresa (even though the Instagram account is pinned to the other hotel!). The pictures of the hotel and its facilities on Booking.com are far from the truth. The pool was dirty, the lounge area was messy, and the view is covered by jungle. The rooms looked fine, but the toilet and shower broke twice. The owner fixed it in the end, but this didn't exactly help our experience. Further, there was no cleaning during the minimum 5 nights stay. For this price we would expect fresh towels and clean rooms.
