Great house for a good price. Only problem was the router wasn't working for the first day, but it was fixed the next morning. Good communication from the property management during that issue. Community pool was nice although only accessible for the last few days of the trip because it was early in the season. Beach access is as good as possible without being directly beachfront, it's a 1 minute walk total to get to the beach. The bathrooms can occasionally be a problem but luckily the upstairs suite bathroom also opens to the common area so there are effectively 2 shared bathrooms.

The house was nice. The only thing I wish I would have known before booking was about all of the steps to get to the top level where the kitchen and living areas are located. My elderly in-laws struggled climbing all of the stairs every time we went anywhere.

We have been vacationing in the Outer Banks for decades and this is the first time I have been so disappointed. The house was not cleaned and many things were broken. When we reached out the response to the issues with various broken items required calls 2 consecutive days and the response regarding the lack of cleanliness was not even acknowledged with so much as an apology.
The best part of the house was the proximity to the beach and pool.

We loved the house. The layout is great - very comfy. But it's situated between the beach access paths, so you will have a little stroll down the street. We had originally rented an oceanfront cottage, but it was deemed unsafe when it was apparently too late to get a different oceanfront location. Carolina on my Mind was our choice when offered several houses in place of our original location. We did love the house, just really were looking forward to being right on the beach. Mother Nature rules.

Good central location for kiting. House offered and had everything. Minor hot tub issues that MGMT fixed amazingly fast. Good stay, solid.

The house was great but, a pipe busted in the main bathroom on the 2nd day and the maintenance guy they sent out just told us oh well guess yal can use the other bathrooms which were much smaller and attached to rooms. No one from the reality place called to check in or reimburse us. We won't be renting from hatteras reality or vacasa again.

Close to food lion, coffee, restaurants, gas and kitesurfing launches on both the sound and ocean side. It also has the feel of being in a neighborhood. We had a great time and would be happy to rent this same house. Just wish that it was pet friendly.

The rental process was simple and easy. The “Hospitality App” was very beneficial. Only issue was we never received the email with the keyless code, so had to work through the after hours support team to get the code. Not a big deal.

House is in a great location, and we enjoyed the stay. Definitely would stay there again.

Did not have a good time.
Was only there from 4:30 pm on Sunday 9/24/17 to 1:00 on 9/25/17 island had mandatory evacuation. The realty called us on 9/28/17 @5 pm to let us know we could get back on the island. We are 6 hours and 10 min. away. We would have left on 9/29/17 and been on road all day. Would have only had one day left on the island. We will not be back there at all was a waste of our time and money. Sad part is we will be lucky to get any back. It was not out fault. Would have been nice if they would have let us come back and stayed longer. One day is not long enough for that long drive.
