Wind Chimes is a comfortable house. It looks a little tired in some areas, but worked well for us. There is an ocean view and the beach is over the dunes behind the house across the street. The pool is a good respite from the beach.

Spacious and comfortable home with easy walk to the beach, and quick drive to the Food Lion. We appreciated that each bedroom had their own full bath. We enjoyed the game room, pool and hot tub. Our family had a wonderful week.

This was a great home for our 9 visitors. Plenty of room to gather or spread out for some quiet time. Would definitely rent again, and we've never stayed at the same house twice- so that says ALOT!

The house was not what we expected as the heat did not work right. The steps were many for the three people who had leg problems but we managed. Would not stay there again.

Easy walk to the beach and lots of space and room

It was a nice place but the main TV was broken, one of the dishwashers was broken, shower cutains were had mildew on them, linens on some beds were missing, windows were dirty. Just not very clean.

We stayed at Wind Chimes years ago when our kids were small, and had a reunion this past week. Family came from all over to join, and friends flew in from New Mexico. At first glance, it was exactly the same…great location to the beach and grocery store. Excellent spot for a relaxing vacation. However, several issues arose, and no amount of pleading for help would correct the situation. Right off the bat, the main entranceway lock would not work. Only one way in, through the pool entranceway. Very inconvenient for luggage and groceries. (We were told it would be fixed, but no one even came out to check.) Hot tub was green all week, so we couldn’t use it. Only one of the dishwashers worked. We didn’t know it until it cycled through so we had to unload dirty dishes and put them in the other dishwasher. The refrigerator drawers were broken, so groceries couldn’t be stored properly. Worst of all, we did laundry mid-week, not knowing that the dryer was broken. No heat in the dryer. Every towel we had was wet. We were assured that housekeeping would drop off towels the next morning, but it didn’t happen. And it didn’t happen the next day either. I even said I would come pick them up. The worst part is that the poor folks renting after us have not been told of these issues and will experience the same disappointment as we did. I asked multiple times for a contact that I could call and discuss these issues with, but my requests were ignored. The last notice I received said that the office would be reaching out to me “in a few moments.” That was 3 hours ago. We will never come back to this house, nor will we use Vacasa.

There were soooooooo many issues. Broken crisper drawers in the refrigerator. Broken blender. Broke toilet seats. Dead bugs on window sills. No power cord or remote for the tv in the master on the 3rd floor. One eating spoon for the entire kitchen. Kitchen poorly stocked. Dust covered air return vents. Deck lights didn’t work. Over the stove light didn’t work. Spacious home but needs major work and TLC.
