THE LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT, WE HAVE BEEN TO NORTH BERWICK MANY TIMES AND LOVE THE PLACE AND PEOPLE.
THE WORST HOLIDAY EVER.
THIS PROPERTY SHOUKD BE ADVERTISED SO PEOPLE ARE AWARE OF WHAT THEY ARE GOING INTO.
THIS PROPERTY IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE ESPECILLY IF THEY HAVE DISABILITIES AS WE HAD, WE ARE 86 & 84.
ACCESS WAS JUST OK BUT THJE BIG PROBLEM WAS IN THE COTTAGE.
THE SEATS ARE LOW, DIFFICULT TO GET OUT OF,THE BATH IS HIGH, I COULD NOT GET IN IT.
THE BIGGEST ISSUE WAS THE BEDROOM WHICH IS TINY, THERE WAS ONLY A NARROW SPACE UP ONE SIDE OF THE BED WHICH MEANT ONE OF US HAD TO CLIMB OVER THE OTHER OR CRAWL UP FROM BOTTOM.
IT WAS SO BAD I SLEPT IN A CHAIR TWO NIGHTS SO ONE OF US COULD BE COMFORTABLE.
WE ALSO LEFT A DAY EARLY IT WAS SO BAD.
THIS WAS OUR FIRST BREAK SINCE COVID AND ALSO AFTER CANCER OPS. TO HAVE ABREAK AND RELAX.
I HAVE ALSO WRITTEN TO COAST PROPERTIES, WE FEEL A SUBSTANTIAL REFUND IS MADE ALSO THE £150 DAMAGE DEPOSIT REFUNDED.
I AM CONSIDERING TAKING THIS FURTHER, THE ADVERTISING NEEDS LOOKING AT.

The bathroom definitely needs an update

Location good, very handy for the golf courses I was playing at, parking not so easy close to the property.
Not a lot of space on the bedroom, the bed being against the wall on one side.

Lovely view and close to the sea, and vlean
Seats were uncomfortable especially for a short person with arthritis needs a sofa and a foot stool. Also the decoration could be brought up to date it felt a little dated and not ina good way

It’s in a horrible building up a stair that’s like a Prison.
Parking is worse than London.
The Heating system is from 1960’s.
The Bathroom also with an Apple coloured suite is Archaic along with the Hopless Electric Shower!

Location was superb ,right in the middle of the town
I was forewarned about the town bells 🔔 but the first night took a bit getting used to.

Really nice apartment, with a fabulous view. Comfortable bed and spacious living room. A fully equipped kitchen and a dining area, all that you need.

Very nicely decorated flat. Well-equipped kitchen - spacious and easy to use. Very close to beach. Very good value.
We found the bed a little narrow but there's not much that could be done about this given the size of the bedroom.

The stairs were a bit steep as I had hurt my ankle, but manageability

Toilet flush system a bit of a nuisance don't see how it saves water when you have to flush 2or3 times

The location was okay and the facilities at the property were okay. The place is dated but functional.
The bells on the church strike every hour and half hour throughout the night. Ten gongs at 1am! Fine if you are used to it but it ruined my sleep. Quaint traditions like this are not welcome to tired travellers. I appreciate this is not the owner's fault but I do not recommend staying because of it.
