We had tickets to Lake Lure Annual Dance Festival . We were 5 Miles from it. Very convenient. Beautiful home. Perfect for the mountains. We loved it.

We stayed at the house over Labor Day weekend with our young daughter and some friends with two kids. The house was perfect for kids, close to the private beach, and a short drive from the public Lake Lure beach and town. We loved eating outside, playing in the yard, and swimming in the lake. Thanks for a great stay!

The area was beautiful and the cabin was very clean and home like. Kitchen had everything you need. All the beds were comfortable and sitting areas as well! Great place to stay! Highly recommend

We had a great weekend at the cabin! Way more than the basic essentials were provided, which made it feel more like home. The cabin was well kept and very cozy. The lake was only a short walk away and overall an easy location to get to in Lake Lure. We would love to come back!

We had a wonderful two night stay! I traveled with my teenage daughter and her two friends along with one of my friends. The girls really enjoyed the private beach area. I would definitely come back again!

Nice stay

Beautiful property, gracious hosts, difficult to figure out operation of tv and oven.

We had such a nice time staying at this property. The house is right in the middle of all the Lake Lure activities, close to chimney rock State Park and the shopping village, flowering bridge and lake lure beach. And we loved exploring around the property in the gated neighborhood, The house is just a short walk or bike ride to the community dock. I wish there would have been a little beach for the kids to swim in, but it was nice that the neighborhood had access and it was private to the residence staying there. My kids decided to jump off the dock anyway and swim in the little lake area! I definitely recommend this property for families! I ended up bringing a bunch of little kitchen and house toiletries but didn’t need them, they had dish soap, trashbags + coffee pods. The house is stocked with every kitchen appliance you can think of and we used the grill which was so nice. The back porch porch and backyard was cute too for spending quality time or playing games in the yard. My daughter also befriended the house cat —-I’m not sure if she lives around or if she’s the neighbors cat, but she was so sweet and greeted us every time we came home from the house. Overall we had a really nice relaxing time in the house was impeccably clean thanks so much and we look forward to visiting again!

This cabin is even more beautiful in person. Large flat yard for yard games, spots to hang your own hammock, huge decks, and a 5 minute walk past a large waterfall to the lake. The lake had a small sandy beach, a dock to jump off of, area to swim, separate areas for fishing, and plenty of shaded areas to sit with picnic shelters. The cabin itself had everything you would need. Kitchen was very well stocked, plenty of towels, blankets, and linens. The master bedroom and bath downstairs were so nice with a huge jacuzzi tub. We didn't need them, but there was a pack n play and high chair in closets if bringing little ones. One thing to note, the two other bedrooms are upstairs if bringing small kids. The neighborhood is gated and felt very safe. Our family had a blast and hope to be back!

Great family trip to lake lure, the lake was very clean lots of trees and the surrounding area was beautiful. We swam at the private beach and marina with rafts. And we rented a pontoon boat which was so fun.

House was extremely clean! Located in a quite gated neighborhood close to the lake. We all really enjoyed it! Owner was very responsive and cordial.

The Lake Lure Village Resort area felt very safe without feeling too close to any of the neighboring cabins, and the views from the lake access areas were beautiful. This is a great area for anyone looking for hiking, boating & climbing and is a quick drive to the town of Chimney Rock for some good restaurants, craft beer (right on the river!), and shopping.

Property was great. Exactly as we expected and in a great area. Not far from the lake.

House was beautiful! Clean, everything we needed! Great location to everywhere we wanted to go. Host was absolutely amazing, easy to reach for check in questions, even local recommendations. Had fun sightseeing, and just as much fun staying in, playing games with family!! Even got some unexpected snow, the kids got to play in!! Caner wait to return soon!!

Mattress and pillows are terobol nobody can sleep

The cabin is very comfortable and absolutely gorgeous inside and out. The big tub is luxurious and the outdoor kitty is adorable. We thought the cabin actually overlooked the lake, based on the photographs posted for the property - but it wasn't a big deal. The beautiful waterfall and the lake are within very easy walking distance. Squirrels and deer are frequent visitors. All in all - very happy with it!

We came to celebrate our 10th Anniversary and totally enjoyed ourselves! The cabin was perfect, the weather beautiful and we look forward to coming back with our kiddos! Walking in the front door with the bluegrass music playing immediately relaxed us and stayed on the entire length of our stay! The cabin was clean, well stocked with lots of extra touches. Great place place to relax and unwind.

This was the third time that we’ve stayed here. Randy and Beth are fantastic and have made each trip a great experience. The cabin is comfortable and you feel right at home the minute you walk in. Our kids have fallen in love with it and look forward to coming back many more times! Can’t wait to visit again!

Beautiful cabin, did need some dusting. Power was out the 2nd Day but overall Great. I need to return in the warmer months.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at Camp-View Cabin. It was about as perfect as it could be. Randy and Beth were awesome to deal with. About everything you could need for a stay was there. The cabin is awesome! The gas logs were a big plus when the power went out due to a tree falling across the road and knocking down the lines. Thank you for a great mini-vacation.

Owners were very responsive. The cabin was in a good location and was a cozy place to spend a few days enjoying the fall!

I would highly recommend staying at this cabin. The neighbor is very quiet with great amenities. This is the best house and location we’ve ever chosen.

Quiet cabin, very cozy. Easy walk down to the private cove. Kayaking on the lake in the a.m. was lovely - we went during the week so we practically had the lake to ourselves. Owner was very responsive to any questions.

I and four of my 50 something friends recently planned a trip to Lake Lure and stayed in the Camp View Cabin. The cabin was in pristine condition and the owners went the extra mile to make it feel homey. The neighborhood is actually like a subdivision, but with all the foliage in between the homes, there is plenty of privacy. We felt very safe yet not crowded. With the exception of a few people walking their dogs in the morning, we seldom saw anyone. Although we were not waterfront, there is a really nice marina and swim area just a short walk from the cabin. It was clean and well kept. To sum it all up, I am planning on returning to this very area again as soon as my granddaughter is a little older and I want to take my family to Lake Lure to experience the beauty of the waterfront community and the small-town atmosphere. I understand there is a Dirty Dancing festival there next year in September and since I am a fan of the movie, I may choose this time to plan my trip. Beth and Randy own several other homes in the area, so if you visit the LL area, give them a chance to accomodate you.

We’ve stayed in many different cabins between Lake Lure and Pigeon Forge—this was by far the best! Thank you to the owners for such great hospitality!

The property was inviting and all we could have wanted. The place was very clean and "lake like". The lake was walking distance and the cove and beach made for an amazing vacation. I highly recommend.
