Wonderful property. Hideaway treasure for sure. Quiet, extremely comfortable, and lovely. Tremendous character in this mtn. cabin. Great for the whole family. Very clean. Highly reccomend.

What a gem! The unique beautiful mountain cabin was simply great! So much character in the cabin and comfort five star! The cabin is tucked way back in private so you have plenty of privacy. Our family of 6 with 4 smaller kids loved it! We will be back if available!

The cabin was just as described! It was beautiful and clean, with many accommodations and extras. It was exactly what we needed for a fun and relaxing stay. The hot tub was amazing to relax in after a long day at the lake. There is ample room to get a little privacy, (which is what I loved). The privacy of the cabin itself was great. lovely cabin, we greatly enjoyed it and plan to go back.

Loved the privacy, the home was great and decorated for Christmas, Outside fireplace and hot tube was a hit especially with the 5 year old.

We thoroughly enjoyed this property and the area. Our family of six with kids ages 5 to 10 had a blast. This mountain cabin has tremendous character and comfort. We would highly recommend this place. We took the owners suggestion, and I went to Laurel Falls, which was well worth the trip.

We were two families - a total of four adults and two toddlers - and we LOVED our stay. The house is beautiful - very well taken care of, with beautiful design elements, and great amenities, including a hot tub, outdoor fireplace, washer/dryer, great kitchen supplies and more. The house also has some great water equipment that we were able to use on the lake - including a kayak, paddleboard, and more. The house itself was very comfortable, with comfy couches and beds, high quality linens (including robes for when you go in the hot tub!), and just an overall comfortable, high-quality feel. Would definitely recommend!

The pictures truly do not do this property justice. It was an extremely beautiful and unique experience. The home is immaculately cleaned and organized and the owners have thought of everything and spared no expense.

Very nice, clean home in a beautiful setting. Enjoyed every minute and have no complaints at all. Would definitely recommend renting a boat so you can see the amazing Watauga Lake from the water. So many awesome coves to explore and spend the days. Great communication with Mark for the few questions we had during our stay. We stayed at a different property last year on Watauga Lake and although the home was so amazing, this location was much more desirable with quick access to stores and restaurants, etc.

We loved this place! The access to the lake and boat slip was fantastic. The wrap around porch and outside fireplace area were perfect for gathering. We had Jenga tournaments, poker night snd enjoyed the dart board. Home is well stocked and the owner was extremely helpful and available for questions. We would book this home again for sure!

Absolutely loved our getaway at Iron Mt Lodge.

Had a fantastic experience. The cabin had tons of common room for relaxing and family time. Hot tub looking out into the national park was amazing! Would highly recommend to anyone

We loved our stay at the cabin. It's a beautiful area. The owners thought of everything to make it a comfortable and cozy stay! We got snow which made the trip even more magical!

recommend better detail to cleaning... cobb webs above master bedroom bed, heavy dust under and behind tv in master,( found trying to check tv as the master bedroom Cable was not working), also food items in freezer, also no detergent (pods) for dish washer overall wonderful cabin

Beautiful property.

The house is beautiful and amazing! The hosts go ABOVE and BEYOND in every aspect of your stay (from hospitality, to amenities, to restaurant suggestions and activities). The master bed is the MOST comfortable bed you will ever stay in, and the master shower is amazing with 5+ shower heads. We loved it and can't wait to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Iron Mountain Lodge. The pictures do not do the property justice, it is much more elegant and comfortable than the pictures suggest. The waterfall is beautiful and the outdoor fire place is so relaxing and enjoyable. We had a lovely stay and felt completely secluded even though we were just minutes from the lake edge. The kitchen is very well equipped, we cooked every night with no problem! The beds were super comfortable, the complimentary robes were a nice touch and the large fluffy towels made you feel like you were in a 5 star hotel, not a cabin. The owners spared no expense in décor or amenities and thought of everything. Mark and Barbara were very responsive to all of our questions and offered any help or suggestions we needed. We went on beautiful hikes just minutes from the cabin and thoroughly relaxed. We highly recommend staying here.

I couldn't be more pleased with the accommodations. The owners were just a text away with any questions we might have on the cabin or the area itself, that says a lot! Super clean and a very nice place. We are already planning a trip to come back.

The Iron Mountain Lodge is everything as listed and represented in the photos. The addition of the jacuzzi is a nice addition to the property.The location is very secluded but has all the amenities to enjoy the state park, lake and local restaurants.Highly recommend for retreat or family getaway.

It was very good owner was very friendly and helpful. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Plus had a very nice view.

Only glitch was having to search for towels and soaps but they were there, so all was well. Very well maintained

Our weekend was super and this cabin and its surrounding area is beautiful! We had everything we needed for a wonderful getaway. From check-in to check-out, we were taken care of and given tips to enhance our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone!
