Clean & comfortable.

The views are amazing, really beautiful day and night. The host Suzanne was welcoming, thoughtful and kept in communication with me throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with plenty of extra pillows and blankets if needed.

The room was quite spacious and very clean. Great long bench for storage was an added bonus. The view from out of the sliding doors was magnificent. Easy parking

We were told we would be in a certain room number as we were arriving after check-in closed. We collected the keys out of the key box however the room for those keys was occupied when we arrived. Sorted easily by calling staff

The motel lives up to its name, as you get a gorgeous view of the Upper Maloolah Nature Refuge. The staff member that we interacted with was wonderful and would ask us if we needed anything whenever she saw us. The room was really nice and clean, and the bathroom looked very recently renovated. Aircon worked perfectly (make sure you have it on the dry setting for those humid Queensland days and nights). Beds were very comfortable and there were extra pillows and a blanket, if needed. Good hanging space for dresses and an ample amount of those "anti-theft" hangers supplied, along with an iron and ironing board (including the little water pourer for the iron). A small power board is on the bedside table for charging multiple devices and the hairdryer supplied is a good quality one. There's a couple of restaurants next door, if you want to eat out but don't feel like going far. The room has ample cutlery and crockery if you get takeaway and need to reheat your food. Small pouch of dishwashing liquid and a couple of cloths are supplied and the bathroom sink is just large enough to soak and wash them in. We were also given a little 500ml bottle of fresh local-brand milk for tea and coffee! Amaysim (Optus network) has good reception at the motel. Ironically, I was not able to get any reception at all in the Maleny CBD.

You will experience the full power of the morning sun when sitting outside, as the patio area faces east, and there's not a lot of shelter if it rains, unless you go out to the carport. This is more an FYI for those who like to have a morning coffee outside and/or smoke, rather than a reflection of the overall service and quality of the motel.
