Very cozy , Relaxing.. cottage had everything we needed very satisfied

Our stay was extremely relaxing. My wife and I got a chance to do what we love. I got a chance to do some fishing from the deck while my wife got to read and relax by the bay waters.

The little cottage had everything you need. We stayed for 12 nights and enjoyed it very much. It had a small, well stocked kitchen. A nice stove and refrigerator and all the trimmings. We were quite spoiled by all the fresh seafood offerings in both Port Isabel and South Padre Island. A basket of coffee and tea was left for us to use. We were also welcomed by a thoughtful Xmas gift basket containing hot chocolate, candy, cookies and snacks. There was even a tiny Christmas tree. It made us smile. The living room was nice and was tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture and a nice television. We were able to sign in to our Hulu account and stream our favorite programs. There were also options for those who don’t stream. It was comfortable and quiet. The bedroom was cozy and comfortable. The bed was plenty large. There were two side tables with lamps and a large dresser. The bathroom was small, but not cramped. It was very nice. It had a good tub and shower, a medicine cabinet and sink cabinet as well as the loo. I appreciated the hair dryer under the sink. There was also a large closet by the washer and dryer. The closet was helpful and there were many hangers to use. This too, was where we found the vacuum cleaner. We always travel with our very large - and very fuzzy - Great Shepherd named Bernie. She is a wonderful well mannered girl, but she does shed. I used the little vacuum every other day to keep the fuzz in check. It also helps that she never gets on furniture (thank goodness! That would be a nightmare). Anyways, we also used the washer and dryer twice while we were there. It was nice not to have to pack quite so many clothes. We brought some detergent pods with us and they worked like a charm. The little patio by the canal was very nice. My husband, Bernie and I sat at the little table and played cards quite a bit. It was very enjoyable. Long Island Village was really nice. A lot of people had dogs. Nice sidewalk to walk Bernie. There was a dog park, but we didn’t use it. Bernie enjoyed her walks around the little “village”. When we arrived to the cottage it was quite cold (46* inside) The cottage wouldn’t warm up. Contacted Bruce & Angela and they fixed us up immediately! They brought over a space heater for the living room and turned on the bedroom heater (we couldn’t turn it on). By the time we returned from dinner it was toasty warm! Everything was great! Book with Confidence! Thanks!

Having to leave before 10 am was a big NO for us. CLEAN RELAXING CONVENIENT & Great Price.

We rented this little bungalow with the perfect water views for coffee in the am and wine in the pm and perfect distance to cross the river to the island. Everything was perfect and I didn’t want to leave!

The property management company (Evolve Rentals) is very detailed and highly organized which makes checking in/out easy as possible. The owners of the property were also fantastic when I needed to get ahold of them. I’ll be back. Thx!

This place was so cute wonderful beachy feel right on the water.

We had such a great time staying on the island! The hosts were super responsive and friendly. The Long Island village had everything needed for a tropical vacation pools, hot tubs, golf, and fishing!! We caught fish everywhere here! Go with a guide, and grill your catch of the day. Restaurants will cook them for you too if you just want to kick back. Such a great value and location. Stop looking and book this one!

Nice little cottage in a dog friendly neighborhood. Small yard with a great deck. Well-stocked with essentials and clean.

Owners were very helpful with late check-in and recommendations for places to eat. The home is nice and cozy and perfect for our stay. Would stay here again and recommend!

Loved the neighborhood..close to everything. Trailer was small and dated but understand there are plans to upgrade trailer early in 2022.

The stay was very pleasant. The bed is so comfortable. Plenty of towels, and cleaning supplies. The living room had 2 amazing recliners to enjoy movies with my family. Loved that they allow pets.

I stayed here with my baby. Was such a beautiful place. Safe for families and everyone in the neighborhood is very friendly!

Loved the location and accommodations. Didn't recall seeing the $80 LIV fee when booking but would rent again. The only negative about the accommodations was the hot water lasted about 5 mins for a shower.
