We had a wonderful stay at the river cabin. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We usually stay at a bed and breakfast in Galena but wanted to try something different. We’re so glad we did! Galena is an easy 30-40 minute scenic drive from Bellevue. Bellevue is such a nice little town with a pretty boardwalk that we walked along each night on our way to Grandpa’s Ice Cream Shop. The cabin was very cozy and quiet. We will definitely be back!

Exactly as described. Very clean, and well stocked. View from the deck and property is amazing. We will definitely be staying here again. Great city with a fabulous cafe called Richman's.They serve the best Omelette you' ll ever have. Friendly bars and shops.

We enjoyed our stay at Dan's comfy, super clean cabin and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet get-away time. The location is outstanding with quick access to everything in Bellevue. We loved the views with lots of Eagles on the frosty Mississippi!

The cabin was very clean and spacious. The view of the moon and sunrise were breathtaking. The owners are so busy. They are always doing something to make everyone's stay wonderful. We had an amazing time.

Dan was fantastic every step of the way, the cabin was exactly as pictured and well stocked with what we needed. We were so grateful to be able to bring my 100 lb Great Dane, I struggled finding a place but, Dan was friendly and extremely accommodating. We had one issue with the smoke detector which Dan came over right away to look at. We even rented the pontoon that is available, Dan explained everything and gave us GREAT recommendations for a place to go and restaurants to try in town. The whole park is very well kept and in such a wonderful little nook of Bellevue within walking distance of restaurants, the farmers market, and right along the Mississippi. I will absolutely be coming back here again!

What a great place to relax along the river! Bellevue is a cute little town with a few great spots to walk to — including coffee and ice cream! Dubuque is very close by and offered so much to explore. Dan was a great host, attentive and accessible. We would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was perfect for us and well stocked with what we needed. We enjoyed waking to the morning sun, the views of the Mississippi, and walking along the river. Bellevue is a lovely town and we were able to walk to shops, Richmond's cafe, the new brewery and friends staying nearby.

Very clean property with great views of the Mississippi River. The location is within walking distance to the Bellevue State Park as well as the river walk through town. Our family had a wonderful stay!

Wanted to get away for a few days with some friends. We stayed in the bedroom with the king which we didn’t realize the bed was a sleep number lol so that was fun. Our friends decided to bring an air mattress but there is a pull out ! The place was spotless and clean. Had so many extras like games, a fan etc and I loved that!!! READ the book/Binder once you get there as it has everything you’ll need. The guys had zero luck fishing lol but fun none the less. Owners are a delight. We ate at the BBQ restaurant right across the street one night and it was delicious!!! Only thing I’d say is if you are looking for a “private” get away this may not be what you are looking for. There were people coming and going a lot so the space while we were there was very shared, overall adorable CLEAN place with great owners!

The house was better than the pictures. Annie and Dan were great to work with. Definitely planning another trip.

We absolutely loved staying here. You are right next to the river and you have a stunning view to look out to every morning. We were spending our twins first birthday there and the owner made sure we had extra kids plates and toys for them. Wonderful experience all around and the town is beautiful.

My husband and myself are both teachers, and we just wanted somewhere quiet to get away and relax at over our Spring Break. This cabin was the perfect place for that! Unfortunately, it rained the majority of our time here, but there was our own person fire pit, that we would have used had it not rained each night. Having the river in our front yard was such a plus! We loved just listening to it from the cabin! The cabin is stocked with everything you will need for the trip, and Dan is AMAZING to work with! He was always quick to respond to any question that I had, and we loved staying at his place! The location of this cabin is also ideal, because you can walk to anywhere in Bellevue from the cabin! We will be back again!

The owner was great!! He answered all my phone calls and answered all of my questions. The property was very nice and clean. You couldn't have gotten a better view of the river (plus easy access to fishing). The house has everything and anything you would need to stay there which was a bonus so we didn't have to over pack. I would highly recommend this place if your wanting a fishing getaway or to just sit relax and enjoy a bombfire. I would apsalutly stay again.

What you see is what you get, and what you see and get is great! The pictures of the property are exact to the accommodations: relaxing, soothing, fresh and clean. It was quiet and had great extra amenities, like a radio, that came in handy. Not to mention the tub! So relaxing. I enjoyed my getaway and plan to come back in the future. Plus the hosts were quick to respond and easy to work with.
