The views are exceptional and the rooms are very spacious with large balconies. But what I will never forget is the kindness of Aquila, and the chef. Aquila , the general manager, surprised us in the morning with a birthday 🎂 celebration , he had baked a beautiful cake and had decorated the table with fresh flowers 🌺 , he also had a gift 🎁 for me!! it was so unexpected since we had only casually mentioned my birthday 🥳 the night before ! Thank you again for your infinite kindness and your creativity !

Die Eigentümerin achtet darauf, dass nie alle Zimmer belegt sind. Man ist also wirklich für sich und hat die Unterkunft oft für sich alleine. Akila, der Angestellte erfüllt einem zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit jeden Wunsch. Er ist immer erreichbar und ebenso in der Unterkunft. Man fühlt sich sehr sicher. Er bietet auch verschiedene Ausflüge in der Nähe an. Ansonsten ist umliegend nicht viel, nur andere Villen und Einheimische. Das Frühstück und Abendessen war sehr lecker und man konnte immer Nachschlag haben. Auch Mittags kann man von der Karte bestellen. Für einen Zwischenstop würden wir jederzeit wieder herkommen!

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt perfekt!

The villa is exceptionally clean and comfortable. The view is second to none, from the rooms and the pool. We enjoyed swimming and playing pool. We ate breakfast and dinner there which was fantastic. What made our stay so special though was meeting Akila. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. He got in touch when we booked and arranged all of our transport for us. He was the most incredible host and such a lovely man. Our daughter loved him. And his knowledge of Sri Lanka is brilliant!

Akila, the Property Manager is extraordinary host. Travelling for 3 decades, met a such hospitable young man with a smile. The property is a best in its class. We loved the stay and blasted ! Thanks again Akila and the owner in UK who called after to check with us on the stay ! Will return !

Everything except the road.

This is a fantastic property with the ultimate view of the Kotmale reservoir and surrounding mountains. Serene, relaxing and the ultimate getaway.The food is fantastic and bespoked. So you can ask for what you want, the way you want, and at the time you want. BBQ, Al a carte etc.,. No pressure.These are services you would normally die for elsewhere. Rooms are luxurious and you can actually feel at home.This place is the ideal getaway. Thank you Akila for the fantastic service. , For those with normal vehicles, the road is very bad, so when you arrive at the factory- call them, them will pick you up and transport u to the hotel and provide secure parking. For 4x4 enthusiasts this is a dream. Go figure.
