Er wordt unjust informatie verstrekt over ontbijt mogelijkheden. Als je een kamer boekt voor meerdere personen, wordt er alleen maar voor een gast ontbijt gratis geboden. Je wordt verplicht voor andere gasten apart te betalen. Verder wordt er zoveel mogelijk geprobeerd extra geld van gasten te dwingen bij later uitchecktijden dat van te voren al afgesproken is. De personeelsleden zijn best ok en vriendelijk en staan voor je klaar, maar ze hebben een manager die zeer dwingend en niet klantvriendelijk beleid maakt. Door zijn toedoen was mijn laatste dag in Abuja verpest! Deze man bleef mij bellen en aan de telefoon houden om te proberen meer geld van mij te krijgen voor een verblijf van minder dan 12 uren. Terwijl ik al voor mijn check in the nacht(3:am) heb aangegeven dat ik pas om 6pm ga uitchecken en het werd geaccepteerd door die gene aan de balie. Hij was van mening dat de baliemedewerker had mij niet moeten inchecken met zo 'n verzoek en dus wilde hij dat ik voor een hele dag extra betaald. Dit terwijl heel hotel leeg was! Als de eigenaar slim is, zou hij de manager moeten ontslaan of op cursus sturen om klantgericht en klantvriendelijkheid te leren! @Booking wees kritisch over zulke hotels.

Check in was very slow. And they charged me for a different price higher than what's in my reservation with booking.com. I booked for Delux room at a rate of 106USD per night. But on my arrival. They told me that they had some problem with booking.com, and my reservation was not confirmed though I presented the email I received from booking.com. They said the problem was due to flucturating exchange rate and the rate I got from booking.com is not applicable. They had to charge me 118USD per night for Delux room. I accepted the rate with no other choice and I found that I couldn't use my credit card. So I asked my Nigerian colleague to pay the property by Nira via bank transfer. My colleague did so and shared the swift. But the receptionist just wouldn't check me in until her accountant confims the deal, which takes surprisingly long time. We waited for 15 mins and argued with her and had to call the property manager for negotiation. It was absurd! They kept their guest, who had been travelling for 10 hours, waiting at the reception, just to wait for payment! It is just bureaucray! I understand that the poor receptionist had to follow formalities to answer to her boss, but it seems that she forgot that one of her responsibilities is keeping the guest happy! And I was not happy! Besides the above mentioned, I don't think this hotel a good value for money. For 118USD per night, I only got omlette, baked beans, one sausage and toasts. There was no fruit of any kind. And no brewed coffee. It was nescafe they served! And hot shower water went out really fast, it only lasted for two minutes, and then it was barely warm. And the matress was like piece of rock.

The staff was friendly, the room was cleaned every day, the bed was very comfortable and the food was great for reasonable prices.

The room wasnt on the backyard side as expected. I have been charged more money than stated by booking, paid twice and still having a lot of troubles with getting my money back. You could smell the fungus in the bathroom and the room. Long waiting times for getting anything organised. I had to pay in advance for 7nights without even seeing the room first.

I liked the front office staff, they are friendly. The location is good, easy access to most places. Shopping close by for all essentials.

The bed was not comfortable. Too hard!! Breakfast wasn't great and not all the restaurant staff were friendly.
