Our entire family is very happy that we could have such a wonderful, comfortable home to stay in, what a view! Thank you, we come to Homer often, they made me promise to let them stay again soon.

Great stay in homer. Beautiful view of the ocean and close to town. Kitchen is good and the view is spectacular.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The Dovetail cabin was by far the best place to stay in Homer! From the most comfortable bed I have ever laid on, to the most breathtaking scenery that you can imagine. This cabin had it all, and the host was wonderful too! We will definitely be returning!

This property was absolutely gorgeous! The cabin was spacious and adorably decorated. We spent most of our time on the deck taking in the views of the inlet. I highly recommend!

Our family of 5 adults enjoyed 3 nights in this adorable cabin near Homer. Very convenient to everything Homer has to offer, we fished and hiked and loved every moment. The cabin was clean, well-stocked and met all of our needs. Thanks for a great stay!

Great view! Beautiful grounds. Very well equipped kitchen and lots of nice towels and bedding. Photos and descriptions are accurate. We had plenty of room for four adults and two children for two nights. Only drawback was the way the keys worked with the bunk room—a little inconvenient.

The Front cabin has great views but road noise. Luckily the train was available & Evelyn moved us there. Much quieter still with stellar views. THANKYOU! wonderful stay.

Very easy to book and communication was great about the travel itinerary. Easy to find and great location for Homer access. Kitchen and cooking were awesome, including the use of an awesome barbecue. View splendid. We don't feel sleeping info accurate. We feel it sleeps more like 4 comfortably. But overall we had an awesome time.

We had an excellent experience! Everything looked exactly as it was in the pictures! It was a beautiful location, beautiful home and a wonderful stay. We could not have expected or experienced better!

This home is in the perfect location with the best views. We stayed for a little less that 2 weeks, and the property manager was great. Super comfortable and relaxing home.

The Dovetail Cabin is conveniently located near one of Homer's best ski trails and a short drive to downtown. The view is delightful and this is nice place to stay for a short trip in Homer.

We spent every evening sitting on the deck or at the dining room table watching whales feed and sea otters float around. This place was perfect for our family. Appliances worked great, space was comfortable, and it was extremely easy to access and find. Highly recommend for people visiting Homer!

The view was amazing. Nothing like sitting at the dining room table looking out at the water and have a bald eagle fly right in front of the window. The property Manager Evelyn that loves below was very sweet.

The home was very nice on a gorgeous piece of property overlooking the bay. Evelyn provided fresh flowers to welcome us. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking utensils, pots, and pans. Locale of home was a short drive from Homer. Plenty of towels and bedding. The pull out bed on the main floor is quite uncomfortable so I would bring floor pads to sleep on if someone is planning on using the main room for sleeping. There is a beautiful deck to sit and enjoy your morning coffee while watching the boats come in and out of the harbor. There’s also a nice propane grill to use. Also, bring eye masks. Many of the large windows do not have window coverings. The biggest drawback was that for some reason, our reservation dates were changed and neither Evelyn nor VRBO seemed to be able to tell me who was responsible for changing our reservation. Thus, we had to find a different place to stay our last night in Homer. Luckily, we were able to find 2 rooms at Ocean Shores Inn just down the road. Evelyn refunded us for the last night and allowed us to check out later than the posted check out time. I just wish we could’ve stayed for the entire time that I had reserved and paid for.
