We stayed two nights in this beautifully renovated first floor apartment in a one family 18th century home in the heart of Marblehead. The apartment has a private entrance and it is beautifully furnished and decorated. Full appliances are in the kitchen area, and we were even able to wash and dry our clothes during our stay. The front stairs up to the house might be a challenge for some. The Internet and streaming services went out after the first night, but I’m sure I could have contacted the host by phone, if it had presented a big problem for us. My VRBO app failed, me, but this is not an issue for the host.

Loved everything about this place in Marblehead. Will stay here again in a heartbeat if we visit next summer. Great location, amenities were spectacular, hosts were very responsive and accomodating. They truly care about this space.

What a sweet spot this is! It’s perfectly situated between downtown Marblehead and Old Town. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a fantastic stay!

Marblehead for a family wedding. The accommodations were spectacular! The apartment was pristine, beautifully decorated, very calming. Amenities were amazing . A lot of thought was put into making guests feel comfortable. Location was great, walking distance to town. Also easy drive to Salem. Quiet neighborhood, all surrounding homes lovely. Parking was tight but the hosts gave us excellent directions on where to park. Easy check in and out. Hosts Meg and George easy to contact and got right back to us. A lot of thought and love went into making this the nicest VRBO accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. We were 3 adults and a 10 year old. I would give it 10 stars! Thanks Meg and George!

Extremely clean and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed! Hosts live upstairs and were happy to respond to any request. Many things are in walking distance from grocery stores to restaurants. The location is also convenient to many tourist attractions both north and south including Boston.

We absolutely loved our stay! I wish we never had to leave! This place had everything you could possibly need! Just pack your clothes and you’re ready! BEAUTIFUL little town! The food was absolutely delicious.

The property was in the perfect location for walking around downtown. It was so clean and light and bright! Everything was perfect.

This was a great weekend. The property was easy to find, in a neat neighborhood near a very identifiable clock tower. That made it easy to come back to even in the dark. The apartment is clean and precious, with the bones of a historic building but all the modern appliances and conveniences. I loved the shower with high water pressure. Decorations were tasteful, and the bed surprisingly comfortable. The only cons, and they were small, were two things. One was noise from the above apartment on Friday afternoon after we first arrived. But we never heard any noise for the rest of the weekend, so it wasn't a huge issue. Second was parking. You do have to park about a block away on a street, and it depends on the available street parking. However, parking is an issue everywhere in the Boston area, so not a deal breaker. But these were small inconveniences for a great location north of Boston, all the wonderful places, restaurants, and shops you can visit in the area, and a lovely home base to come back to in the evenings. Owners were very responsive via app, and great communicators. Highly recommend.

Awesome little apartment in a nice area! Check in and check out were seamless. Communication with the host was quick and easy and they were very accommodating. The space was exceptionally clean. All the essentials were available in the home. There is a Starbucks, 7-Eleven, and taco spot down the road. We had a lovely stay!

Beautiful property within walking distance of the main part of town. Beautifully decorated, cozy, and spotlessly clean. We really appreciated the washer and dryer as this was halfway through a 10-day trip down the coast for us. My only complaint is that I thought the mattress was hard, and my husband had a hard time finding the place and parking at first. These were only minor inconveniences. Overall a very nice place to stay.

This apartment was perfect for us! Very spacious, lots of storage and has everything you could need. And close to by to a really cute town with food and shots. We would stay here again and really recommend this! Hosts were great, literally everything about it was great.

We enjoyed our stay in Marblehead while exploring Salem during the day. Our 2 year old liked the property so much she would ask to “go back to the house after the Halloween party”. Clean, lots of great amenities in the kitchen and closets, enjoyed the comfortable bed, and great descriptions for parking from the hosts before we arrived. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I stayed here with another couple for a mini trip to check out Salem. We absolutely loved this Vrbo and location! We had never heard of Marblehead, but we loved the town and were so happy we booked our stay here instead of in Salem! The hosts were great and very communicative, they even let us check in a little early. Everything was clean and the unit had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Our time was wonderful. This was our first time using VBRO and I want to thank our hosts for giving us the opportunity to share their space. Like the listing says noise does travel extremely well. There were several times where it got noisy but was always within a certain time frame. After 9am and never after 9pm even during the weekend. Our only complaint would be the bed.. it was an extremely firm, and the frame moved away from the bed easily. We both ended with aches and pains associated with it by the end of our stay. The parking spot, is tiny but not too inconvenient. I would get out and hubby would park the car. We had no issues there but there is lots of availability space on the next road over.

We only stayed for one night but wished it had been longer! Enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and exploring. Good communication from the hosts and the house was super clean. Thanks!

This was a last minute stop added onto our Boston trip. We chose this listing due to it’s proximity to Salem and related history. We fell in love with Marblehead! What an amazing town, my only regret is not booking a longer stay. Our hosts were fabulous and every detail is thought of within the rental. All you really need is your suitcase and a good pair of walking shoes.

The unit was lovely - historic and tastefully updated. We found it extremely clean and comfortable and roomy. The host was super responsive and accommodating. The location was close to everything in Old Town and we were able to easily walk to food and parks during our stay - nice not to have to drive everywhere. We highly recommend this unit if you are looking to visit Marblehead.

My teenage son and I only stayed one night, but it was our favorite place during our 8 day road trip. Kitchen was beautiful. Everything was new. Just a general good vibe. And my son taught me to play chess since the owners were kind enough to leave some games!

The apartment itself was styled perfectly and was stocked with everything you could possibly need while on vacation. It felt like a home away from home. The apartment also is in the perfect location for so many walkable activities which include:scenic water views,historical places,restaurants and shopping! Beautiful apartment tastefully and recently renovated equipped with quality materials, high end appliances, etc. It retains its 18th century charm and is perfectly comfortable for a vacation stay. The surroundings are equally pleasant and full of other historical buildings. We would definitely return.

I found this apartment by chance and I am so happy I did. The upgrades are done with such taste and attention to details and modern convenience, while preserving the old charm. The unit is also very well equipped and spotless. It almost felt like it is someone’s home part of the year; so cozy. It is a short drive to Salem and a bit of a longer drive to Boston, but the beauty of the drive there was well worth it. Marblehead and it’s historical buildings is just amazing… you can even go for a dip at the harbour, which is 5 minutes walk. My husband kept asking, but how did you find this place??? Thank you for a great stay.

This is a beautifully designed space in a prime Marblehead location. Easy walk to the good shopping spots and parks. The parking spot is convenient and street parking was consistently available too. Owners were extremely responsive. We loved staying here!

This property is conveniently located to downtown shopping, and dining. It is beautifully renovated, clean, cozy, organized. The listing did have Parking, but it was down the road which was inconvenient because you had to unload in the street, then drive to turn around and park elsewhere. The parking spot was very narrow and hard to maneuver. Overall, it was a nice experience.

We booked this property to visit Salem. To my surprise, it was a short, easy drive into Salem. The town of Marblehead is adorable and everything is is in walking distance. The apartment is immaculate and the decor and detail is amazing. I do believe the bathroom floors are heated. :) Don't hesitate to book this property -- you won't be disappointed.

So close to cozy bars & food - the clock tower chimes delightfully on the hour! History is at your doorstep! We cannot recommend this place enough!
