House a little outdated. Would have been nice if you could have entered the beach area from the premises.

It was wonderful to hear the ocean and it was clean and had a very large gathering room with the kitchen, dining table, and living room all together. Only had a few issues problem. One was that the beach was covered in rocks. Unsure if it was caused by the recent storm or are always there. Two, the ocean is not safe to swim in there with kids due to high waves. But there was a good beach called baby beach that is perfect for kids close by. Three, the layout is very weird and you do have to walk through each other’s rooms, but we didn’t mind. Overall amazing! Loved hearing the waves at night!

The family room/kitchen area was bigger than expected. That was nice for family dinners and board games. The ocean was giving us lots of entertainment with big waves and lots of excitement. The manager was very quick to respond to our questions and respectful of our family time. We had a great experience despite the heatwave. The beds are comfortable and they supplied plenty of fans to keep us cool at night. Great location!! We got lucky with very sandy beaches this time! I hope we can come again.

We spent 2 weekends here this summer. We had Beautiful sunsets, private beach, and Dolphin sitings every day. We loved it. It was perfect for my elderly parents to enjoy the beach since it is no longer possible for them to walk on the sand. They loved being able to enjoy watching the kids play from the deck. The spa is a huge plus as well. Perfect staycation for this OC family.

Great beachfront location, with the waves right off the back patio. Private beachfront with only occasional neighbors walking along shore. Shoreline appears to be eroding with maybe 40-50 feet of sand at low tide up to sea wall at patio. House was clean, just a weird set up and a little dated with no hallway, so you have to walk thru the other bedrooms to get to the master. Common areas were adequate and BBQ worked fine on patio. Would stay again.

We have stayed on Beach Road every year for the past 15 years and once again had a wonderful vacation! We swam, surfed, paddle boarded, kayaked, sea glassed, and played lots of games. We saw dolphins from the back porch (as well as a sea lion.) The house is not luxurious but it’s perfect for a relaxing family beach vacation.

We enjoyed our stay. It was brief. Wish we would have had more time. Michael, the property manager, was always helpful and promptly responded to any issues or questions we had. The location of the house is great with stunning ocean views. The jacuzzi was great, especially now that it’s getting cooler. Our family had a wonderful time.

Loved being on the beach. Had to move large, heavy boards so as to see beach - apparently high tide issues. Wasn't in pictures. Short on some supplies - no dishwasher pods, one dish towel. But perfect for our family get together. Plenty of room. Would stay again.

Could not have been happier with our stay at this beach house. Everything just as advertised, and we will definitely be returning.

We had a week and a half long stay with extended family and really enjoyed the house. The kitchen, living room and patio area were all great and that's where we spent most of our time. The bedrooms and bathrooms could have been nicer or better laid out, but they were perfectly adequate. Ceiling fans and more lights in the bedrooms would have been great. As others have noted, the bedroom setup is a little odd where you have to go outside or through bedrooms to get to the other bedrooms. This wasn't a big deal for us at all with a pretty close family that all wake up pretty early, but for people on different schedules, I could see it being a bigger deal. Walking through the courtyard wasn't an issue though when we needed to go around one of the bedrooms. This was our first time at beach road and there currently isn't much beach left at all; at high tide the waves came almost all the way to the patio. Maybe we were just lucky, but the nicest stretch of beach the whole week was right in front of our house. The houses down towards the end had almost no beach except at low tide and many other homes had mostly rock piles in front of them. We would have been pretty disappointed with many of the other houses because of the beach situation. As far as swimming, you can most certainly swim in the ocean. The rocks on the beach were pretty small and there's more small rocks right when you get into the ocean, but a very nice sand bar maybe 10 yards out. The kids wore water shoes for swimming, but most of the adults didn't need them because there aren't rocks once you get out onto the sand bar. The waves were a little rough for our small kids in the afternoon, but usually the mornings were calm enough for them to swim and the later waves were great for boogie boarding and body surfing for the older people in our group. The house wouldn't get mistaken for a 5 star resort any time soon, but for the price and the location on beach road, it was great. We would gladly return, but would definitely get more information on the current beach situation before booking on beach road again. Also, the train wasn't as bad as others have indicated. It woke us up a couple times in the morning, but with fans and noise machines going, everyone was able to sleep just fine.

We had a great time and enjoyed the sound of the waves, but it did not make up for the awkward layout of house (walk through courtyard to primary bedroom or you have to go through the other rooms) or the very loud train sound that practically shook the house. Great experience with the property manager, but the house could use a renovation and updates, looks run down (doors, walls, outdoor furniture) to warrant the price. Beach is very rocky and rocks are in the waves, not ideal for little swimmers.

Kids could play in the water, right there and he could watch from the patio. The house is located in a nice guard gated community. It needs a lot of work, with how old the house is and how close to all that salt water. You have to walk through the bedrooms to get to the living room or out through the courtyard and in the sliding glass door, which was a hassle for all the different times risers in our group. This place will be incredible with some renovations!! The metro link train was a fun surprise too. Host was very accommodating and responded quickly!!

The house is great and as described. The hot tub and grill are in working order and were great to have. The only critique is the house could use a little freshening up. The lock on the slider was rusted beyond ability to be used. Overall, the house is a solid 4.

Our family had a great vacation at this home. We hope to come back soon. We loved watching the dolphins each day. The kids loved playing in the sand and going in the water. The only downfall is the train that goes by all night... Feels like the train is in the house and kept waking us up. Next time we come, we will bring ear plugs in hopes that helps us get better sleep. That was the ONLY downfall and hope we can come back with a solution next time!!!

Perfect location. It was amazing being right on the beach. Very peaceful and calming. My teens even took naps! The house is well equipped. Great family getaway!

Waking up to the sound of the ocean, it was a dream vacation. House is in quiet gated community. It has a great view which we enjoyed especially watching the colors of the sunset. We used the patio to enjoy the ocean while kids soaked in the hot tub or jumped into the ocean for a quick chill. We will recommend this place to others.
