The house was clean and well-appointed. All 12 of us had comfortable beds, and loved the balconies & decks around the house. Nathan, the host was accommodating and easy to deal with. Can't wait to come back!

Property was exceptional and felt like someone actually lived there vs. a unit which is strictly for a rental investment. The manager Nathan was an excellent host and very timely on responses. He was very helpful related to some access issues for our special needs son (to the pool, house, etc.). Even though it rained every day of our stay, the house was large, well stocked and comfortable. The owners must be great cooks because the kitchen was well equipped with pro-grade knives, pots, pans and appliances. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

As described, spacious, and generously supplied with everything needed for our large group aged 2 years to 80! Loved the mature hardwood forest ambiance with birds, bears (nearby) and even a bobcat! Thanks and hope we can return someday soon.

Nice property that fit the bill for what we needed. Lots of beds for our annual uncles and cousins guys trip for golf. Great view for sun rises in the morning. Some cracks in walls from settlement showing but other wise well maintained. Had an issue with opening up the two doors onto the main deck. But property manager had someone out in the early AM to fix (they were off their runners). No separate thermostat for downstairs but space heaters were enough and were provided.

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend with friends. At Wintergreen Retreat. It was a beautiful home with lots of bedroom space and easy to get to everything nearby. Thanks for everything!

Great house to spread out a big group. Teens have basement adults had main level. Skiing was good and easy drive from house. Not much parking 2 or 3 cars would be max but we only had 2 so we were good. House needs a pizza cutter that was the only thing we missed.

Really enjoyed our time at this lovely home in Wintergreen. It met our expectations in every way--beautiful house and view, fully equipped kitchen for cooking for a large family, very spacious rooms. We particularly appreciated the host's accessibility for questions and readiness to help.

We had a great time. Home was as described. Plenty of space for my friends and family. Home was clean. Had a great view of the sunrise in the morning. More than enough appliances and accessories for cooking and serving. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was very clean and aligned perfectly with online descriptions. We were impressed with how fully stocked the kitchen was with everything you need to make all meals. Perfect vacation rental!

I want to start with the owner, Nathan, he could not been more accommodating. There were 8 of us coming for a girls weekend that we had been planning for 6 months. We booked this property at the last minute (3 days prior to our arrival) because the property we originally rented had a flood and repairs could not be made in time for our arrival. Nathan was very responsive to all my communications and we had all the necessary check in information with minutes of making the reservation. He saved our weekend - THANK YOU Nathan! The house itself was fabulous - it is well maintained and it was immaculate. The kitchen was very well stocked, the linens and towels were very nice, and the furniture was clean and comfortable. It was a beautiful weekend and we spent a lot of time out on the deck - even the cushions for the deck chairs were clean and very comfortable. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. We get together at least once a year and this house was one of the nicest houses we have rented. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

This was one of the cleanest homes we have ever rented. It is well appointed and in a great location. There are some great hiking trails within steps of the home and the tennis courts and golf course are just around the corner. The beds were very comfortable and extra amenities like shampoo in case you forget something. The owners made it very easy to check in with specific instructions provided prior to the visit.

The house is very large and spreads bedrooms across 3 flors (including 2 master suites), which helps separate a large party so that everyone is not on top of each other. The house is very well equipped, Including 3 different types of coffeemakers. The appliances work well, and the furniture is sufficient and comfortable. The host is absolutely outstanding! Highly responsive to any little glitches and always going the extra mile to make the guests’ stay extra special. Thank you!

We had the best time! This house had everything and more! It was the little added touches that were awesome: laundry baskets in each bedroom, nice hand soaps, nightlights, alumnim foil, trash bags, etc!

Downstairs hangout area near the bunk room was perfect for the early risers and the bedrooms were all surprisingly very large and comfortable! We did notice the lack of pantry space and no easy area for all our snow gear. With a lot of people that was a bit tricky, but it certainly didn’t take away from us enjoying this home.

Unfortunately, several folks came down with Covid right before the trip, so there were only 6 of us in the house. House is about a 5 minute drive to the ski resort. Which made it easier for us to set up drop off and pick up for those that wanted to ski. (Weather was def not optimal but some got in a few hours on one morning). There is also a trail right down the street that hooked up to other hiking trails, which was fun. If there was information in the house on the Wintergreen trail options, I missed it. Luckily, we found the info online after picking up some tourist information cards from the ski rental place. We also had some issues finding the dang trash dumpsters. Admittedly, we decided to take the trash bags out to the dumpsters the second night - and because the area where the dumpster is is not well-lit, we had a tough time finding it. So if you go, go in the daytime. There is parking for four cars, but because of a retaining wall between the road and driveway, it was a little tight getting cars in & out. With these very minor comments, I will say that we enjoyed out stay very much. The house is amazingly well-equipped. All the appliances looked brand new. The view from the deck was breathtaking - esp at sunrise. And although our group was small, I am certain that had all our intended guests come, we still would have had tons of room.
