LakeBreeze cottage is a new house with comfortable and ample outdoor (and indoor) spaces to enjoy the lake location. It is a short walk to see the lake (100 feet below), but requires a drive to get to a beach. The kitchen is basically equipped and has modern appliances. Likewise, the two baths had the basics. The four of us who stayed there had plenty of room to relax. We would suggest that visitors be told to bring beach towels, and certain other items for vacation enjoyment.

We stayed here in August. We liked the location a lot. It is not in the center of activity but it is not far off either. It is about a 7 minute walk to Douglas Beach. The beach is well used but not over crowded. It is a short drive to Saugatuck and all that shopping. It is walkable to Downtown Douglas, about a mile. The house is clean and very will stocked. We found all kitchen utensils we needed (although there was only one teaspoon size spoon) and the outside grill had propane. We loved the porch and deck. We enjoyed our week at Breeze Cottage

We love coming to Douglas / Saugatuck annually and truly enjoyed this location and house. Close to Douglas Beach, walk to restaurant or two, and quiet at night. Wonderful experience and hope to be back next year.

Property was as advertised and very clean. Easy walk to Douglas Beach and short walk to Douglas and drive to Saugatuck. Very pleased and would recommend and stay again.

We had a great stay in this lovely house! It was well equipped with everything we needed. We so enjoyed sitting on the back porch, eating dinner and watching the deer! The location is perfect - close to Saugatuck Douglas, the beach and hiking trails. A terrific vacation!

Lake Breeze cottage is in a very quiet neighborhood with lots of wild life. The screened porch was our favorite part about this property. It was so peaceful sitting back there listening to the birds and feeling the breeze. The cottage had more than enough space for our family and there were lots of extra beds for other families that may have more people. The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated with lots of sunlight. We walked and rode our bikes to the beach each day and there was an endless amount of places to go in the nearby area. This was by far our favorite vacation rental we have stayed in!

The location was great! The property itself was ideal. You won't regret booking this place!

We had a lovely Thanksgiving at this Douglas house. It’s a peaceful spot, with many deer wandering about. The house is very nicely appointed and comfortable. Super clean as well. Overall a great rental.

Would absolutely recommend this home! One of the best we have stayed in. Super close to everything. Very clean, cozy, and nice. Saw deer every day! Everything was really straightforward as far as check in and out and didn’t have any issues with technology or appliances. It was plenty of space for me, my husband and 2 year old son as well as some family visiting for the day! Would stay here again!

This was an amazing stay. The place was immaculate and so cozy. Great location also. I highly recommend staying here. I will definitely book this place again as you really can’t ask for anything more. Fun to see the deer in the back yard every morning

We stayed 4 days - the house was incredibly clean and there is not a scratch on the walls. Very comfortable. The back porch was delightful and we spent many happy hours there - drinking coffee in the morning, wine and night and on our 2 rainy days - playing Catan with a lovely fire going.

We had such a great time at this cottage by Douglas Beach and Lakeshore Drive. This property is well stocked with everything you might need, and the screened-in back porch with fireplace was delightful to start the day with coffee and end the day discussing all the fun of the day gone by. Highly recommend this location if you like to walk and bike with Lakeshore Drive just a couple of blocks away!

The house is beautiful with everything you need. The few block walk to Douglas Beach was perfect for a day at the beach or sunsets. We can't wait to go back.

We really enjoyed staying at the cottage. The home is warm and friendly. Great decor and had all the amenities we needed. Our favorite morning coffee spot was the large screened in porch. Great walking distance to town, the beach, the Rootbeer Barrel and Woosah coffee. Excellent communication with Christy. HIghly recommend!

The property is beautiful and clean, very relaxing! The Cottage has everything you need from full kitchen and all items needed to cook meals to bbq grill and fire pit for family fun time together. There is so much to do very close to the rental and the beach, coffee shop and Barrel root beer restaurant is within close walking distance. We had an absolute wonderful time staying here. We plan to be back. It is a wonderful vacation retreat!

We had a lovely time at this home right near Douglas Beach. It ended up being a bit unseasonably cool while we were there, so instead of spending our days at Douglas or Oval Beach, we enjoyed the short walk to the Root Beer Barrel, walked to downtown Douglas, made the 30 min or so walk to Saugatuck, and just generally enjoyed the area! The location was tough to beat. The house is very well appointed and nicely taken care of. We loved the screened-in back porch and ate dinner out there every night and enjoyed sitting and reading by the fire after the baby went to bed! It's fun to watch the deer wander through the yard. Check-in is a breeze with the keypad system - that means no stopping anywhere or lockboxes to worry about. Super easy. The hosts were great and extremely quick to respond to questions. I would most definitely stay here again!

My friend and I wanted a getaway to regroup and have peace and quiet. This lovely home was perfect for us. It is charming and the kitchen is well equipped if you want to dine in. Thank you for a delightful stay. Oh and the beds are terrific we slept great.

Lake Breeze Cottage is the perfect place to land for a Michigan vacation or getaway. I booked it for the long President's Day weekend and everyone just loved it! It is located in Douglas, close to Saugatuck and Lake Michigan. The cottage was beautifully decorated, very clean with abundant amenities. Christy and Will were wonderful hosts and provided loads of useful information about the local area, restaurants and activities. We loved staying there and hope to book again for a Summer or Fall vacation!

We enjoyed a week long winter break at this lovely home. It's beautiful--spacious layout, super clean, nice bathrooms, fully stocked, plenty of comfortable seating for everyone in the DR and LR. We really enjoyed the LR fireplace and playing games up at the DR table. There was even a basket filled with several cozy throws, which we really appreciated. Location is fantastic. Close to everything Douglas and Saugatuck have to offer. Communication with Christy and Will was terrific. And if this isn't enough, the next door neighbors are the best! They shoveled our walkway and salted one day when we got quite a bit of snow. We all agreed to return for another great getaway. Thank you Christy and Will!
