This was a beautiful home in a great location of Surf City. There was everything you could want in a short walking distance. We enjoyed spending time at the house. It has amazing views from the deck. There are also lots of great food options very close. Well maintained backyard that was spacious with pretty landscaping. I would definitely recommend staying at this rental. George and Holly are wonderful hosts.

The property is within walking distance to everything, has a well stocked kitchen as well as a gas grill. It is spacious inside as well as has plenty of sitting space outdoors. Our main concern was how dirty the floors were - appeared to need a good mopping. We also weren't able to use the dryer but luckily there was a clothes line available, and the grassy areas for our dog was a huge plus! The owner was readily available & very responsive to any messages sent. Definitely recommend this home!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here so much. George and Holly were wonderful hosts. This home is so beautifully updated and furnished/decorated. It had everything we needed and more and was immaculately clean. It is very spacious and the room with the bunk beds is great for teens-ours loved hanging out there playing games. We loved the close proximity to the beach and all of the restaurants and shops. Would give this 10 stars if possible. Can't wait to be back! Thank you George and Holly.

Our family had a great time and the property was perfect. There was enough space for 7 adults and 2 children. The beach access was fantastic and the kids loved that Daybreak Donuts was across the street. The porch off the living area extended the living space and we used it consistently. George was great to work with and the property was well-equipped with everything we might need. I will be recommending this property to our friends and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The house was better than in the photos. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped with everything needed for the weekend. The location was ideal and easy to walk to the beach and grocery store each time we realized we needed something. George was very communicative and accommodating. We had a great time.

We wanted to be within walking distance of everything (with older teens in our group). This home is perfect if that's your goal. Book it, don't look any further if so. We only drove the car once in 4 nights and that was to dinner at the Crab Pot. We enjoyed the many balconies, spent most time out there. We live in the country/rural, so when we go on vacation, we don't mind road noise, etc. We get enough of the quiet.This home is on a busy corner lot by the main thoroughfare, so you will hear road noise. That, and many stairs are the only things I'd say be aware of (if traveling with anyone with limited mobility/elderly). I didn't invite my mother/in law for that reason. Nice big grassy lawn compared to most beach homes. Amenities galore, comfortable furnishings and WONDERFUL host family.

Our family enjoyed your beautiful home, with a well stocked kitchen, close proximity to local shops, restaurants, groceries, and the beach. We felt very welcome with the accommodations and amenities provided. George was quick to respond to any concerns we had and was definitely a premier host. We will definitely look forward to returning.

Last minute girls weekend trip to the beach and we were able to rent the Surf City property. House was centrally located in Surf City. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Accommodations were perfect.

First time renting through VRBO. A little different experience but the owner was great to work with and was helpful when VRBO staff could not.

Everything was better than expected. Location was excellent. My grandsons had a blast and there was plenty of fun to be had by the parents as well. Looking forward to next year’s trip already.

Close to the beach and you can walk to everything. We had a great time and will come back in the future.

We visited this property for a moms' get away weekend. There were 4 of us moms and we all enjoyed the property. We also thought it would be a great place to go back with family, especially our teenagers. The location is ideal for teens - very short walk to the beach, but also in walking distance from several restaurants and shops. It was also great for us! The place was very clean and George and Holly were very nice when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house (oops!). There were some great personal touches, like cute little plates and napkins left by the owners and I love that they thought of details like the outlet extenders (makes three plugs out of 1). The only suggestion I would make would be more places to hang towels in the bathrooms, but that is a little tiny thing. Overall, a wonderful experience and something I look forward to repeating.

The house was very clean and very nice, the perfect place to spend a couple days away for spring break! Everyone really enjoyed their stay and are looking to coming back next year!

Check in was super simple. Property exactly as described and better IRL. Parking is hard to come by in SC, but no reason to drive anywhere. Walking distance to everything.

George’s place is perfectly located one block from Surf City. He provides all you will need for the week and checks in to see how everything is going. We all had another great time on Topsaial.

This property was perfect for our group. We were traveling with two young children and the owners provided very thoughtful coloring books and toys for the children to play with. The owner was very responsive and the house had everything we needed. Will book again.

My family greatly enjoyed our stay here. The house was very nice and had everything you might need. It has an outdoor shower and beach toys and chairs. The location was perfect, a very short walk to the beach and many nearby coffee shops, restaurants, etc.

The owner was great at getting right back to you if you had any questions. The owners wife left my kids Easter candy and brownies which was so thoughtful and sweet!!! Highly recommended

This house was in the best location to view the town.and even the new bridge.the owner George was very responsive in texts and very nice.just didn't get to meet him.there is steep stairs going up to kitchen and living room area.but as with most houses at the beach expect that lol..its a perfect getaway.the beds are so comfy.

This was our 1st time renting thru VRBO and every was awesome! The house was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The communication was great with owner/manager. He didn't miss anything. They even had a few heart decorations in the living room and a box of candies were left on the kitchen counter for us to share since we was here on Valentine's day, it was such a special treat and thought. We will definitely be staying again and highly recommend this property.
