I brought my daughter over to celebrate her birthday. We enjoyed the cabin. It is very well kept and super cute. If ever back in the area we'd stay there again.

The cabin was great! Exactly what we needed for our quick overnight stay. It was raining most of the time we were there, so we weren't able to explore.

Honestly my daughter and I wished we had scheduled a longer trip! We got in later at night than originally expected, but could just tell the surrounding area was absolutely gorgeous. We were pleasantly surprised in the morning, and the sunrise did not disappoint. We were essentially packing back out to head to the Wegner Crystal Mines, but next time we will stay longer to explore the hiking trails mentioned by other renters!
The cabin is very comfortable. The closeness of the main property, and other rentable cabins (in proximity to the one we rented) was perfect. There was no question of the locked safety of the cabin, and we could hear the owners' dogs alerting to sounds. Made us feel safe!
++ My daughter and I were excited to see the pups' faces on the Scrappy Jax sign, and realized as we were leaving that the dogs are probably the namesake of the cabins! Cute!

The property is tucked into a tight little community of cabins, RVs and small houses. The property is spotlessly clean, with a comfortable deck (even has a grill)! Unit has coffee maker, microwave, stove, dishwasher, mini fridge, basically anything you want. The bed is a futon type affair, which would be tight for anyone over 6’. My only real complaint, (NOT the owner’s fault) were 2 dogs, a German Shepherd, and a second small dog, were in a fenced yard across the lane from the front door. They seemed to occupy themselves by loudly barking anytime ANYTHING moved, for 15 minutes at a time - they were not there during my visit in April, and are an unwelcome addition to an otherwise pleasant, quiet oasis.

It’s a tiny cabin but perfect for what we needed. We came off the river burnt and tired and was happy to have a clean and comfortable place. Shower is really nice, bed is comfortable

We only stayed overnight but it was very peaceful and the owners were fantastic! The location is great the grounds were kept so nice! Not much traffic in and out close to all the restaurants and not to far from shopping!! We had a great time!!

The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed. There was a large porch with chairs and a grill. The hosts were so helpful and such amazing people. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend!

This property was so cute. It was the perfect size. Bed was comfortable, shower was big, and it had a little kitchenette. Same price as a hotel but way more homey. The owner was nice and even talked to us as we were leaving. Right down the street from town and river.

I stayed here for a single night on a road trip and it was cozy and just as described. It’s a small cabin but had all me and my dog needed for a simple place to stay. The coffee was a nice touch!

It is a very nice bungalow! It was cleaned and furnished with everything that was essential. Upon arrival, I wasn’t quite sure which bungalow was the one where I was staying until I compared the pictures to the bungalow. It would be nice if they had numbers on them to help identify. The people in the community were very friendly. I felt safe staying there. The only issue I had a the dogs in the house in front of the bungalow barked and barked, other than the barking dogs it was great!!!

The host was so helpful and nice , Cabin was small we had 2 adults and 2 , 6 year olds .So it was kind of tight but it was clean and comfortable for our visit . I would recommend to others .

Cabin is clean as a pin and well appointed! They even have FireTV, a full-on coffee maker, and a beautiful little deck with a grill and VERY comfortable chairs! Great place, 5 stars for cleanliness and value. Super convenient within a mile of town!!

Very clean and cute!! Nice size deck and grill with grill equipment to use. Small space but great for the price and is perfect for a couple or single person. Small town with friendly people and a short drive to Crater of Diamonds. Would definitely recommend.

We were late arriving , the cabin was ready for us, the cutis little cabin/tiny house I've seen. The owners were very nice. I would highly recommend the Scrappy Jax.

IN AND OUT
We needed a place to rest our heads, before we headed home to TN. Very clean and quiet. FYI the tv remote needs new batteries. Thank you for letting us stay.

It was a wonderful quick break from life. Our old bones didn't enjoy the fold out couch though. It would be fine for a younger couple.
