Our six day vacation at Jon and Turi’s Big Sky House in Montana was truly a perfect family getaway for all eight of us. The views from the house were absolutely breathtaking, especially with the golf course right in the backyard. We spent our days hiking and exploring the stunning Montana landscape, and our evenings either dining at fabulous local restaurants or cooking on the grill, followed by relaxing in the hot tub and around the fire pit—such a great way to unwind after a day of adventure.
The house was incredibly comfortable, with plenty of space for everyone. The beds were cozy, ensuring we all got a good night’s sleep before our daily activities. Our family loved exploring Yellowstone National Park, hiking the Beehive Basin Trail and tubing down the Madison River—all were unforgettable experiences.
One of the best parts was the location. We could easily walk to fantastic restaurants and shopping, which made everything so convenient. We truly loved every minute of our stay, and we can’t wait to come back!

Our family loved being in Big Sky once again. Our home was lovely with a view from The Sound of Music. We will definitely return to Big Sky and would stay in this home again. Super nice!

Stunning mountain views and great location. This home was an awesome space for 6 adults and an infant to spend a week together. We loved walking to the Town Center, the easy access to hiking and playing golf. Great week for our family in Big Sky!

We stayed here for a wedding and loved the house. It has amazing views and is close enough to town to walk but far away enough to get out of the crowds. We would definitely stay here again!

First time to Montana. 4 kids in their 20s. House was perfect size and views were breathtaking. Only issue: Follow owners advice and pour a little chlorine in hot tub after each use. Otherwise it will start to smell. Maintenance person took the chlorine so we didn’t have it.
We cooked in the kitchen and also grilled on the deck. So good! Would rent again.

The property is spacious and bright with stunning views situated on a quiet street of a golf course community. The location strikes a perfect balance of resort life and local experience with nearby access to the slopes, shopping and restaurants. The town center is within walking disance while the drive to the ski resort is within a few miles of scenic roadway.
The owners are very responsive and welcoming and made sure we were prepared for our group trip well in advance.
There is plenty of garage space and driveway space for multiple vehicles and ski equipment storage. Inside, the living area is roomy with lots of chairs, pillows and blankets to cozy up.
The hot tub on the back deck offers a relaxing recovery from the ski day while showcasing spectacular scenery.
Will absolutely recommend this property!

This house was comfortable for a large group, we had 7. The large dining room table, ample seating and spacious rooms were great for our group. We really love to cook and did so every night of our stay except one amazing dinner at Olive B. The kitchen was not a chefs paradise but we improvised and made due. A second fridge, even a small one for drinks would have been greatly appreciated to accommodate so many people.
Overall we were amazed with the Mountain View’s, enjoyed the hot tub daily along with the convenience of being so close to the town center. To and from the mountain was easy and there is even a shuttle stop at the end of the street, just a few steps from the house. The driveway was spacious enough for all our vehicles and the owner was responsive.

Perfect for our Family with adult children. Gorgeous inside with spectacular view. Very well equipped so it felt like home. Dr J was attentive and responsive. The shuttle service picking up from the house was so convenient.

Wonderful property that looks to have been recently updated. Kitchen is incredible with an pro oven/stove combo and very nice kitchenware. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here with a group of friends for our annual ski trip. First time to Big Sky and I would say Dr. Jon and Turi's place is ideal for such a trip!
The house is huge and beds are comfortable memory foam.
The hot tub easily fit 6 of us and has an amazing view off the back.
The up and coming Big Sky village is super close with bars, restaurants, and shopping. We also made it up the road to Riverhouse BBQ which we highly recommend.
The two single beds are proably best for shorter folks, but we made them work for adults also.

We enjoyed the house again for the 2nd time. We love the view from the 2nd floor and being able to enjoy it from the hot tub. The owner is super responsive and very helpful. One suggestion is to provide more plates, coffee mugs, wine glasses and kitchen cooking utensils.

Such a great home to relax in and enjoy the best of Big Sky surroundings! Easy walks to nearby city center, lots of fun watching and playing golf and unwinding in hot tub overlooking the beautiful mountain vistas. Couldn’t have been a better home and location.

This house is in a lovely location with golf course and mountain views. The home is very clean and well maintained, and the beds were great. Two areas that can be improved... Add a few more towels to the bathrooms, and the owner really needs to put $1,000 to $2,000 into adding to and improving kitchen, pots, pans, glasses, utensils, knives, etc are understocked and below the quality one expects in a property of this caibre andprice range. That being said, we would still stay here again in a heartbeat. Oh, and the hot tub and porch views are stunning!

We love our stay here! Great location, house had all we needed, and easy communication with owners. We loved the huge windows and beautiful view from the den! Super close to Town Center with great restaurants and easy drive to Madison River for day of fly fishing.

We met up in Big Sky for a cousin's reunion. The home has a great space for gathering with incredible views and the neighborhood is quiet and walkable. Just a short walk to the town center and good communication with host and easy checkin. Windows need a cleaning, and would be nice to include hand soap in the bathrooms. We had a lovely stay and appreciate Dr Jon sharing his home!

Beautiful house. Gorgeous view. Some limitations on cooking items and wine/cocktail glasses. Dishwasher gave us some issues as well as left side of fridge. The listing mentioned supplying soaps but we could not find any hand soap. Great location and nice hot tub.

Stunning home & decor. Online pictures do no justice to this amazing location and views of home. Convenient access to trails, rivers, ski slopes, grocery store and pleasant walks to Big Sky town center. Highly recommend Sweet Buns in town center for cakes. Dr. Peterson thank you and Mrs. Peterson for sharing your home and quick response of my questions . Had an amazing time and created beautiful memories.

Fabulous Stay! We caught the last day of ski season and 1st weekend that Yellowstone Park opened. We stayed entertained the entire 7 days .. numerous trails to choose from.. we will be back !

This house is prime location! Close enough to the ski resort that it’s easy to get to, but in a quiet place where it’s not too chaotic and you can sit back and enjoy the scenery. The host was super responsive and nice to communicate with. The photos don’t lie!! The view is exactly as pictured and even better in person, what a stunning property and location. We will hopefully be back soon ◡̈

Our stay was awesome. We couldn’t get over the amazing view from the living room and the hot tub. Everything was just as described! Communication with the host was super easy, and he was very accommodating. We were bummed that we never saw a moose, but hopefully next time!

We stayed here while in Big Sky. House was wonderful, very clean and loved the layout. Beautiful picturesque window with a view of the mountains from the main floor. Loved having the hot tub on the deck with the same view. Owner was very responsive when communicating. We hope to stay here again!
