If you are thinking about booking this property go ahead and do it! You will not regret it! The property had everything we thought we needed and more! Its tue perfect place to stay for people of all ages! The bikes amd toys everything provided was top notch! We go to this are every year and have stayed somewhere new every time! This will 100% be our new anual spot for south shoreline vacations!

Our stay was lovely and this house is incredibly well thought out!

Our hosts created a lovely home for our weekend. Everything was spotless and so welcoming (including the freshly baked banana bread!). The location was close to downtown for our dining and we enjoyed the fireplace for cozy evenings back at the house. Perfect!

This place is great! The owners were super friendly and communicative throughout our stay. The master bedroom has one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on! My spouse & I loved the fireplace and cozy kitchen, while my teenage son enjoyed the game room upstairs. Would definitely stay again.

We were over the moon happy! Location was 5 minutes from the wedding site. Al's was perfect for picking up odds and ends. Best of all ...the Home was stocked with essential items and super cozy beds

Not cliche-truly the pictures did not do this haven justice! Every detail beautifully planned. We went for our annual summer beach vacation, but wanted to come back to stay inside, bake, read the books and play the games provided. Every question was promptly answered. The beach toys and fire pit were among our favorites. Simply sublime!

Angie is an amazing host, super inviting and full of great info. The house binder is super helpful and informative. The house is really close to Sheridan Beach. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Love all of the bikes and beach gear in the garage. We honestly could not have found a more perfect home for our family. The decor is tasteful and cozy. The upstairs loft is perfect for children. The bathrooms are fantastic! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

Owners took so much time and care to make sure everything you need for a great vacation is at the property. All the little extras and details made it special. The location is just a short walk to the beach and beach access is clean with a cart path and a restroom. We were also able to walk to Washington Park and the zoo. We really enjoyed the stay and highly recommend it.

This host goes above and beyond with hospitality. The amenities were everything we expected and more. We had a wonderful time, and are already planning to come back!

Angie and Herman do an incredible job with this lovely and inviting home in Michigan City. We loved everything about the home, the amenities were fantastic, and the gear on hand for the beach made it so we didn’t have to bring any beach gear from home for our kids. We enjoyed the fire pit, the wide selection of board games and books, the lawn games, and even a movie or two. A great neighborhood, a lovely home, and Angie is so responsive and a terrific host. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful time at this home. There were many toys, beach toys/chairs/umbrella, and dishes, high chair, porta-crib for young children. Great location- close to beach and only 0.4 miles away from a nice zoo for kids. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Loved the fire pit and warm hose in back to rinse off the sand. Very close to the National Dunes and state park (which had nice hiking trails). Angie was great to communicate with. A great place to unwind and enjoy being with family. Would definitely go back here.

Our experience here was amazing. The place was clean, comfy and cozy. Close to the beach and light house. My only recommendation would be to put a TV in the front queen bedroom. We loved our stay. Angie checked on us and was easy to get ahold of when I had a question. Thank you so much for such a great place!

The property was exactly as advertised, clean and perfectly suited for our family of 7. Loved the proximity to the beach, the backyard, and the extras all around the house: bikes, games, toiletries, firewood, etc. Great communication with host, who went out of her way to make us comfortable. We hope to be back!

The house was just as advertised. It had all the amenities we needed, well-stocked with basic supplies and a great location for exploring the area. We enjoyed the beach (2 block walk), local breweries, wineries and restaurants, cooking together and making cocktails at the house with the open floor plan, evening laughs around the fire pit, and morning coffee on front deck. The host was very responsive and full of helpful/detailed information. Would love to stay here again.

We had the absolute best time at Serendipity! It is definitely the best stocked rental house we've ever experienced, they thought of everything from spices, sand toys, wagons, a paddle board, s'mores fixings, a coffee station, books, games, and so much more. There was gear for our toddlers so we didn't need to bring a crib, sippy cups, baby gate, kids toys or anything. About a 10 minute walk down the hill to the beach or the playground or the Washington Park zoo, there was tons of stuff to do. The house was nicely laid out for our group, but would be perfect for two couples and a bunch of kids. The loft area was great and would have been an even more fun hangout for older kids with the Xbox, movies and games. The house was super cozy and clean, the fenced yard was also nice to hang out and make a fire and the front porch great to sit and have coffee. Angela was super helpful and gave us tons of recommendations of local restaurants and things to do. Can't say enough good things. We will definitely be back!

The house was a short walk to the beach with lost of fun restaurants to check out. Host had everything covered from basic kitchen needs to all the thing needed for a fun day at the beach. The fire pit in the back with all the s'mores fixings made for a fun and relaxing evening. Our family would definitely go back!

Every amenity was there! I couldn’t think of a thing I needed that the host hadn’t provided. Great cozy cottage where my friends and I could hang out between events of our 50th class reunion weekend. We felt like we were staying at a friend’s house.

We had a great experience at this house. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed having fires each night after spending the day at the beach. It was really nice that they had beach chairs, an umbrella and wagon available for our use. My kids (7 and 11) absolutely loved the room upstairs. Thank you!

Can't say enough about this stay! We were drawn to this place initially because of the easy access to the beach, and the garage full of items for the kiddos. This made for 2 full days at the beach with plenty to do all day. Was also just over an hour to Chicago to spend the day in the city and explore. The communication from Angie was very impressive. She went out of her way to give us ideas prior to our stay, checked in all along the way, and informed us of activities in the area while we were there. All of this is enough in and of itself, but the space itself is also top notch. It's a beautiful place, tastefully decorated, stocked with everything you could need as other reviews mentioned. The kiddos enjoyed the upstairs loft area. It was just a very lovely getaway. Would absolutely recommend!

This rental property was ideal. It was clean, well-organized, fully stocked beyond what is required or necessary, and the communication from the host was clear, informative, and timely. We were very pleased with our stay!

What can I say. Everything was great. My wife and our 3 kids try to getaway every 6 months or so and this was one of our favorites. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay, the house is cute, clean, comfortable and very well stocked. Our every need was met. Great location, close to the beach and nice areas to walk. Angela checked in on us often to make sure we didn’t need anything. We had a wonderful time!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was stocked with so much more than the normal rental — coffee fixings, paper products, kids toys and games, beach toys and equipment, and more. The backyard is fenced in and was great for our young kids to hang out. The walk to the beach was quick, although the walk back is almost all uphill. And working with the hosts was a delight.

We had a lovely stay at Angie's beach house. It was the perfect size for our family of four. The kids loved having the upstairs loft space to hang out while we relaxed downstairs. The house was clean and stocked with everything we could possibly need, which made the stay that much more comfortable. Angie was quick to respond to any questions that we had about the house or the area. We felt so welcome and at home. It was a perfect place to recharge for a few days.
