This was our third stay at this rental. It is very comfortable and well situated in the SML area. Perfect as a home base for visiting friends or staying in for kayaking and game night.

We had such an amazing stay at Wade’s property! Perfect for our family of 4. Great location. Wonderfully stocked and great amenities. Great communication! We will definitely be back!

Wade's townhome is well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. Everything was as described, and communication was excellent both before our arrival and during our stay. We had a little hiccup with the key lockbox that Wade helped remedy immediately. We took full advantage of the townhome's dock and Wade's kayaks. We went out twice during our short stay, and had a wonderful time. The unit is in a part of the lake that is a bit away from the busier portions, so it is pretty serene right outside the unit. The bed was comfy, the bathrooms were clean, the TV and WI-FI worked, lots of board games and puzzles around if you need some non-technology entertainment, and you are located 2 miles from a grocery store and other shopping areas. Don't know what else we could ask for, and we would stay again.

Place is very clean, nice quiet spot on the lake. We took out the included kayaks and fished around the area. Beautiful, especially at sunset. Great hosts and nice overall process.

This is a lovely end townhouse unit on the water. The neighborhood is very nice, and the area wasn’t busy since the weather was chilly. The host was an excellent communicator and answered questions quickly. With that said, I have 2 complaints. The first deals with having to wash all of the dishes we used and put them away prior to leaving. How does the host know we cleaned them? How do we know the person before us did? Apparently this is due to Covid, but it makes absolutely no sense. It seems like the cleaning person would be able to handle that better than the visitors. We also thought the fact that we had to take the trash with us was a bit much. We paid a cleaning fee, and this was not a cheap stay. The additional insurance we had to pay for was also something we hadn’t expected. All in all, it was a lovely place, and we enjoyed our stay, but I don’t know that we would do it again because of all the excessive fees, and the fact that we had to clean the place like it was our own home.

We had a great time at the rental condo. The condo was beautiful and fully furnished with everything we needed. The location was perfect - far enough removed to enjoy the lake and quiet but close to shopping, the marina, and restaurants.

Townhouse is beautiful, bright and airy. It has all the amenities you could hope for. Very relaxing, enjoyed seeing the deer in the mornings across the water. It was nice to be able to kayak from our dock. Enjoyed several local restaurants, absolutely loved Old Oak Cafe - the Belgium Waffle! Also had a great time at Spring Valley Farms horseback riding.

This place was great, very well stocked kitchen. Beautiful view of the lake! Just what we needed!!

The location was absolutely perfect. Most beautiful views from morning to sundown. Access to the lake could not have been easier or more convenient. The luxury of having the boat slip was great as well. Clean and comfortable home. Would stay again for sure.

This was a great change of scene and pace for us. The location was wonderful and tranquil. The property was well maintained and a welcoming bottle of Sangria greeted us! Nice touch! A good starter set of condiments, cleaning supply and a well stocked kitchen made move in easy. We had two on crutches, so the stairs were a bit daunting but they were good sports about it. A morning heron, and hummingbirds provided entertainment at breakfast, and the on site kayaks made it easy to get out on the lake. Owners were responsive and take pride in this home. We would return again, and recommend to others!

Look no further for an excellent place to relax! This well-appointed and meticulously maintained property is an extension of the natural environment created by an isolated point in a quiet mountain cove. The seamless view from the balconies, upper dock, or screened-in back porch is restful, restorative, and refreshing but within a stone's throw of restaurants and recreation.

Great week at the lake. Property was just as described with lots of little personal touches added to make our stay more comfortable. Owner was exceptionally responsive and kind and offered us great ideas of things to do. Would definitely rent here again.

This was our second stay at this rental. We love the convenience to Westlake, the state park and friends in the Penhook area. There is plenty of room for our family to enjoy water sports, cookouts, and marathon Monopoly—a home away from home!

Our Smith Mountain getaway was wonderful!! This property was clean and welcoming, we loved the kitchen area. The deck with view of the lake was breathtaking at sunset.

We enjoyed incredible sunrises an sunsets during our time at SML. The property was as described- very clean and well maintained. We had four in our party and felt like we had lots of room. There are a lot of steps!

We really enjoyed our stay in your clean, beautiful home just a few steps away from a quiet cove off of Smith Mountain Lake. Your home was exactly as described, incredibly clean and well-equipped. We loved having access to your two kayaks and rented two stand up paddleboards from a local vendor to maximize our time on the water. The dock was beautiful and we had a gorgeous view of the sunset. The kitchen had everything we needed and loved that we were so close to a nice Kroger’s grocery store. There are so many fun activities nearby, including hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. We wanted to visit the wineries too, but ran out of time! We also appreciate you being so responsive to our emails too. We will be back!

This rental was in a convenient location and had all the amenities needed for a family vacation. We enjoyed the quiet cove for kayaking, swimming and barbecuing.

We loved every minute being here. The house was very clean and absolutely comfortable. The lake views are breathtaking. One thing I wish I would have known to book a boat on advance. Unfortunately nothing was available during our stay, however we enjoyed the kayaks and fishing and the state park beach and community beach were also close by and beautiful. Definitely coming back. The owners made us feel welcomed and answered us at anytime, even when we got locked out the house 😄

The house was clean, bright, comfortable and came equipped with everything needed to make our stay as convenient as possible. The location is so peaceful and lovely, we spent our mornings sipping coffee on the deck watching bald eagles and deer around the river. And we all got our daily workouts in, going up and down the stairs to the dock, LOL. Overall, I would highly recommend this property!

We had a wonderful time! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the deer, turkeys and birds! Had a great time kayaking and rented a pontoon boat to see other parts of the lake. Condo was super clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Lovely condo. Well equipped kitchen. Dock and kayaks were wonderful for games. Great dock space for ball games.

The location was great - near enough to local attractions and the main body of the lake, but quiet. The space was perfect for our needs, and the owners were even nice enough to childproof for our toddler beforehand. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again!

This condo is just as pictured on the website with beautiful lake views. It is comfy, roomy, tastefully decorated, and the kitchen is well stocked. The location is convenient to stores, restaurants, SML state park and the community park. Kayaks and floats are available for your use which makes for a fun vacation. We'd definitely come back!

We had a great time at Smith Mountain Lake. This property was clean, and seemed brand new- despite the weather we had a great time, the dock was perfect for fishing, swimming and exploring. The location is fantastic if you have young kids- ie: close to Kroger, and Booker T , etc.
