Ideal location in Duck, NC. Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and an easy walk to the boardwalk on the Sound. The house has an excellent floorpan and is clean and comfy. The pool and surrounding pool area are a great place to gather after a day at the beach. We loved it here. Thank you !!

The house was very clean and well equipped. Plenty of spaces inside and outside for spending time with family or finding a quiet place to relax. Easy access to beach and shopping. The pool and hot tub were amazing. We loved everything about this property!

The house was perfect. Great pool and hot tub. Location accurately described as 150’ from beach. Kitchen had every pot or pan one could possibly need. We had an issue with one of the AC units which was resolved within hours. Overall if you are lucky enough to get an open date. Grab it

College friends for 40+years coming from NY & MA, never been to OBX, this location certainly was the best for a first time. Walk to everything, food, beach, shopping, pool & hot rob added to a couple of relaxing days. House provides plenty of places to chill alone or gather together. Kitchen was great areas to eat indoors and out, perfect

House was fantastic, perfectly suited our group of two families (4 adults and 4 kids). Owner was communicative and helpful. House was clean, tidy, and very well equipped. Kitchen has everything you need and plenty of beach accessories (chairs, umbrellas, beach cart) nice stuff in good shape. The proximity to the beach is excellent, about 100’ from front door to the public access point. One thing that I noticed is the house had very high quality furniture - especially the outdoor furniture. Super heavy duty stuff in good condition. A pleasure to enjoy the outdoor spaces! We had a very windy week, which made the beach on the cold side, but the pool area was nicely sheltered from the breeze and we spent a lot of time swimming and in the hot tub, great option when the wind is blowing hard at the beach. Duck is also a really cool town, and easy walking distance from this house. 100% will stay here again in the future. Awesome spot.

My family and I stayed at "Quack Inn" for a few days while attending a friend's wedding. The house is wonderful and has a great family space on the top floor with a sectional and recliners. We were able to hang out, watch movies together, and read our own books all while being in the same space. This hasn't been the case at other homes in Duck. The location is excellent: a very short walk to the beach, and we walked into town without any trouble. Everything was clean and comfortable. We plan on staying here again in the future.

The house had a great location for a stay at the beach. It was an easy walk even with small children. Being close to shops in Duck was good too. The house was clean and well equipped.

The property and amenities were perfect. So many bedrooms and baths on all the floors. Kitchen living area were upstairs and very roomie. The only thing that was a little in disarray was the outdoor bins and umbrella area. Needs a good cleaning but other than that it was a great vacation.

The house is fantastic in every way. The location is very close to the beach making the trips back forth easy. The chairs and carts were really helpful too. The pool and hot tub are immaculate and were cleaned several times during the week. The home is very modern and well kept. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and can’t wait to go back.

We had 10 family members staying (ages 1 - 75) and the house accommodated all us very well. It was clean, comfortable, and in a great location (beach, town). We appreciated the beach chairs, kitchen tools, and board games that were available for us during our stay. We were all very happy during our week in Duck! Thank you.

We have been vacationing at different beaches as a family for years. This was our best vacation yet! We loved the house, the location, and the many things to do there. The house was perfect for our large family - plenty of room in the living room, around the pool, in the kitchen or in the game room. Close walk to the beach. Just a wonderful week!

Thank you for letting us spend our family vacation in this house. The house had everything we needed-beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys along with spectacular views and a fully equipped kitchen. This house is a prime location if you’re toting around little ones or can only walk local distances. There are a wide variety of shops within walking distance. Looking forward to booking this home for another family vacation soon.

This house was fabulous for our large, three family vacation. Very roomy. Just like the pictures! Fully stocked kitchen with anything you might need. The location was amazing! Just a few steps from beach access and close to the center of town. The pool and hot tub were a plus when we wanted an early morning swim or a late night soak. The screened in porch was perfect for our crab boil, and there was a game room. Attractions, Walmart, and grocery store are a short drive away. Hosts were amazing too! I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and layout. There were some issues w/ cleanliness (seemed like the cleaning crew did a quick job.) Pool was great. Encountered an issue w/ the hot tub shocking some of our group at one point with a noticeable/ painful current on the second day. Response from the owner/manager was unapologetic, terse, unsatisfactory and not particularly urgent. (Took over a day for any response and another day for an electrician to check it out.) Hot tub has a broken button on the panel which potentially exposes panel wiring to water and is gerry-rigged with silicone in two ports. Didn't have use of it for more than 5 days of our 7 day stay without an apology. Aside from the safety issues and the management, this was a good spot, but I can't recommend unless the safety issues are rectified.

Perfect location! Easy walk to beach, and everything you need to enjoy a day there! Well stocked kitchen. Easy walk to town to shop or eat. Great outdoor spaces, pool and hot tub!

This house was in a perfect spot - steps from the beach and a half mile walk to town. It was spacious, clean, and very well appointed, and our extended family was very comfortable. We loved having the pool to jump into after a hot afternoon at the beach. Future renters may wish to bring beach towels and dish towels, as these are not supplied, nor were there enough hand towels, bath mats, or a roll of toilet paper for each bathroom - perhaps an oversight on the part of the cleaning crew. Also, be sure to check the grease trap on the grill before using, as prior occupants had not emptied it, nor had they cleaned all the pots and pans in the kitchen. Despite these small hiccups we had a wonderful stay and wish we had booked for two weeks instead of one.

The walk to the beach was easy. Hot tub and pool were perfect! Only thing not ideal, but bring beach towels, otherwise 1 per person and 1 kitchen towel (we bought extra paper towels and was fine). House had lots of room to spread out, and lots of good eating places near by in Duck. Great trip.

This is the nicest house we ever rented. Very near the beach. Great views of the ocean from the decks/porches. Pool water was warm because of a solar cover. The house had everything we needed for our month in Duck.

This house met all of our needs. We had 9 adults and two children in our party. The house is located close to a variety of restaurants and activities. The pool got used daily as did the beach , which is a couple hundred steps from the front door. The sunrise was enjoyed with our coffee each morning from the deck. Duck Inn exceeded our expectations!!

Second year in the same home, great stay!

Property was in a great location! Close to the beach and a quick walk to town. The house had everything we needed. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Only suggestion is to clean the fans regularly as they had a lot of dust. Otherwise, no complaints!

Getting to beach was as easy as oceanfront. Ocean view from multiple decks. Pool was awesome to have after a day at the beach. Really clean. Nice large gathering area with living room/kitchen area.

This home had everthing that our group of 10 adults and two children needed for a truly wonderful vacation. The house is so well-equipped - beach chairs, umbrellas, pool and beach toys - and tons of room providing everyone with ample space. We loved the large living room with enough space for everyone to gather and the screened-in porch was a terrific place to eat food cooked on the poolside grill. Beach access via a wooden walkway was very easy. Great vacation in a fantastic home.

This house is in a great location , only steps to the beach. Quiet neighborhood and good location for the shops in Duck .

The Quack Inn was exactly what we needed for 7 adults. Lots of space to be together and lots of space to be apart. Location is perfect - steps from the beach and a nice stroll to downtown Duck. Pool and hot tub were a great bonus and well maintained! Highly recommend!

Loved our stay! There are a few maintenance issues that I wrote to owners about. They probably already knew about. Once those things are addressed, it will be perfect. I recommend this place. Great space and great location.

We had a great time. House was big and roomy and gave everyone a room of their own. Pool was great 👍 solar cover did he great job. Swimming in April, excellent. Views were very nice with many decks to choose from. We did a lot of star gazing. Also the property has everything we needed for extended stays at the beach!
