Perfect island get away.

The location is great, I mean you're literally on the beach. The pool is a really good layout and design. The check in process was super easy. However, there were things that made the stay not as enjoyable. Apart from utensils and pots and pans, there is not a single thing for cooking meals. Not even basics like oil, salt, and pepper. So if you plan to cook anything, you have to buy even the most staple of items. The same thing with the coffee maker. Yes, it has a coffee maker but there is no coffee, there is also no sugar or even powdered creamer.
The dishwasher had standing water in the bottom of it so we couldn't use it; it also proves that it wasn't even looked at between the previous guest and us. There is a very noticeable smell of mildew or mold when you first walk in the door. That's normal for being on the beach but it was quite unpleasant.
Laundry in the unit was nice except that you only get 1 pack of detergent, no matter how long your stay is. When you're there for a week almost, it is reasonable to be provided with at least 3 packs. Same goes for towels. There were 4 towels, which meant you have do laundry in order to not use the same towel over and over
The worst was the curtains. Completely useless, don't block out anything. It has great potential but there are other properties that are better with better amenities included. Likely will not stay here again due to that fact.

As always- it was great to be at the beach and love how close to the beach the condos are- especially with the little ones. The condo itself was nicely laid out and the washer/dryer unit was a plus! Wish though that the condo had a King bed in 2nd room

My only complaint with this condo was that it advertised children's dishes but did not have any. We were able to make due And everything else in the condo was nice and as advertised.

The condo was very nice and updated. There was trash left in the kitchen garbage container but other than that the condo was very clean. Would have been nice to have coffee filters for the coffee maker and shampoo and conditioner for the showers. Thankfully the pool closes before 11:00 p.m. because that was quite loud outside the second bedroom. Also the toilet in the 1st bedroom was running off and on during the night so we just turned it off. Location was great right on the beach. That was nice.

Padre Escapes was great to work with! Their cancellation policy was very generous and they even allowed us to reschedule our visit because of Hurricane Hana. The staff at El Constante was also very nice and helpful.
My only complaint is that I had to call and request check in instructions after I received an email saying I would receive the instructions by text and email when the condo was ready for check in. I finally called after 4 when I never received the email or text.
This condo is in a great location on the beach, because it is on the less crowded end. Be warned that the bedroom with the twin beds faces the pool and you can hear pool noises clearly in that room. Although the pool is supposed to close at 10:30, there are still some rude people who continue to party throughout the night.

Once the upstairs cooled off, the AC worked great. The beds were pretty comfortable. There are lots of glasses and knives in the kitchen, but there is no can opener.

I do have a issue, the extra room that faces the pool needs black out curtains for sure. I had seen a previous review about this. The lighting is great at night you feel safe but it’s really bright in the room. Had to by a fan because the noise in the pool was crazy and I had to get a 7 yr old to bed. To the owners please think about the black out curtains for sure.

This condo was adequate for our stay and included everything you needed. The unit itself needs some updating and minor repairs (leaky faucets, old carpeting, worn countertops), however the price reflected it compared to other units. The pool was decent but crowded and none of the rules were enforced, but I didn't come for the pool. The location was amazing being right on the beach! I'd probably stay there again.

Overall, our family enjoyed our stay at Constante. However, we were kept waiting at the pool area for our condo to be ready. We didn't get in probably around 5:00 pm. The hot tub by the pool was very dirty. Other then that, other areas were clean.

Over all good. The condo was clean and comfortable. The pool was nice. My issues are that no one enforced the pool rules about closing. The sign stated pool closed at 1030. I had small children with me and people were loud at the pool until at least 2 am. Sleeping was hard when there was so much noise and our condo was near the pool. I also had an issue with one of the employees. The young girl was super nice every time I spoke to her. The older lady was rude.

We've stayed at El Constante in the past, and it's been ok. This trip, not so good. Air conditioner was good for first floor, upstairs bedrooms were hot. Cook stove worked when it wanted to. Fridge was not working very well. Hot tub not working. This place is showing it's age. For the price we paid, should have been better.
