We stayed for 3 nights - house was clean and as advertised. Nice quiet neighborhood, nice backyard, we enjoyed sitting and watching birds and BBQing in the yard. Good location, easy to and from airport, and Louisville, waterfront park and pedestrian bridge were nice and close. House was clean, kitchen had what we needed. Would recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in this area.

We enjoyed our stay! Comfortable beds, good spaces for hanging out, nice area to explore. Hot tub was great. Nice extra touches to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay! Directions for things around the house and communication was very clear and easy.

The property listings at six bedrooms, and it is only a three bedroom property. The property manager was on site when we got there, the hammock was broke, the hot tub was a very nasty. And the sauna is not as nice as it looks online. The property manager told us about his personal problems and had somebody mow the grass while we were outside playing basketball. Tyler verbally stated that he was going to refund us and he has not. He also is ignoring all messages. I asked a Verbo management or supervisor to call me. They said they would within 24 hours and I heard from them yet either .

My spouse and I stayed here for 4 nights along with 3 of our friends. The beds are really, really comfortable and the master shower was to die for. (I didn't use the other one but the other guests said it was pretty good.) The whole house was really clean and comfortable. Well, except for the dining room chairs, those were definitely not made for folks with big bottoms lol. Some of the starter stuff that was supposed to be stocked was not. We had a Duraflame log but no starter wood and the coffee area was not stocked. We had to have Doordash bring us sugar and creamer before we could have coffee the first morning. We didn't get the s'mores thing the other reviewers talk about so they are probably not doing that anymore. The hot tub was somewhat dirty and we had to mess with the chemicals to make it stop foaming like a bubble bath. However, once we wiped the nasty from around the waterline and got the foaming stopped it was very nice and we enjoyed it very much. We only used the sauna once but it was very clean and worked fine. Overall, we would definitely recommend this house if you have a reason to stay in the Louisville area! The manager was super responsive even at 9 o'clock at night. We really appreciated everything he did to make our stay great. He even mailed some things we accidentally left there back to us, at no charge.

Great house for a family or group. Perfect location. Many amenities.

We spent a long weekend in the house and it was perfect for our group. We had four adults and an infant, and there was enough space for all of us to feel comfortable. It's in a good location to Louisville (a quick 10-15 minute drive) if you'd like to stay away from the busy downtown area. The house is as pictured and has everything you might need for your trip. Communication with the owner was also easy. We really didn't have any complaints, but I would say that the yard is fenced in for your dog although there's about a four foot section of the fence between the neighbor's yard that is only large-holed chicken wire. It was ok for our dog because she's big, but if you had a dog probably 25 pounds or smaller, it could easily fit through the holes. There is a dog on the other side that seemed friendly enough, but I would be cautious if I had a small dog and would maybe take them out on a leash upon entering the yard at least the first time.

This house was cozy and was in great location to Louisville. We brought our kids who are age 6-19 and our fur baby. Everyone was comfortable and had a good time. We enjoyed the hot tub it worked great in the freezing cold and enjoyed making s’mores (treat provide by owner) on the nice fire pit outside. Most the toiletries was provided even extra toothbrushes came in handy since my 13 yr old forgot to pack his. Plenty different flavored coffees provided as well which is a big plus for me. I love my coffee! My only suggestion is that the steps that go up to the hot tub need a non slip mat or something there bc in the freezing weather the water turned to ice making the steps super slippery. Overall this is a wonderful home away from home! I would definitely stay again.

Spent 3 days over thanksgiving with a couple family members. Enjoyed the house and the area a lot. House was clean, beds comfortable, and well supplied. Ate at Cluckers restaurant on the river, very nice. Visited the candy store in Jeffersonville. Kids loved it. Went to Derby playhouse theatre to see Santa show- wonderful! The fire pit, hot tub, sauna, outdoor area was superb. Ingredients for s’mores was nice touch, as well as the water in the fridge and the toothbrushes and toothpaste. Plenty of towels. Washer and dryer came in handy. Would stay their again if in the area.

This property was super clean and the amenities were great. Loved the outside ambiance with hot tub, fire pit and string lights. The owner even had everything set up for making smores! There were extra toothbrushes and toothpaste in the bathrooms, towels set up with mints on the bed and bottled waters in the fridge which were very nice additions to offer guests. Would highly recommend this place!

Our family attended our first Bourbon & Beyond Festival and found this location thru VRBO. What a gem! This 3 bedroom 2 bath house was less than 20 mins away from main venue! The outdoor space was perfect! And we couldn’t of asked for an easier check in&out. Homeowner Tyler super responsive! Thank you!

Our stay was amazing! Loved the house and super close to Louisville. The layout worked well with the grandparents and our kids. The sauna and s'mores on the firepit was everyone's highlight! When our plumbing went out in our home in New Albany, we needed a short term home base while we went through repairs. This place was perfect for us and with amenities like the grill, hot tub and sauna, made our stay more fun during a stressful time. We appreciated especially the receptive and responsive communication from the host. Highly recommended- thank you!

We arrived in the late evening, unpacked our belongings and settled in. The property appeared to be as listed on VRBO however in the morning my boyfriend and I discovered we were unable to use the yard due to hornet/wasp infestation surrounding the hot tub area (the hot tub was a huge reason why we chose this property). We immediately contacted the host who responded in a lackadaisical approach. Tyler came to the property with a can of spray attempting to rectify the situation however the problem was much more serious which lead us to contacting VRBO directly. The host became argumentative, condescending and defensive when we decided we no longer wanted to stay at the property. This lead to a 3 hour long mediation with VRBO, Tyler and ourselves. When trying to come to a solution Tyler became very petty and ultimately refused to refund or accept any accountability of the inconvenience. Ultimately we decided to leave as many of the property’s amenities were unusable. Total disaster, poor customer service, we wish we’d stayed home. Be aware of the autonomy given to hosts on VRBO, read policies before paying anything.

Second time staying here, both visits were ideal for a family and their dog. Tyler is a great host. Jeffersonville is a great town that still allowed us to do a lot in Louisville.

Our family celebrated a wedding in Louisville and stayed 3 nights. The house was very clean, the beds super comfy (I didn’t get complaints about the sleeper couch from my oldest sons, but they know what to expect with sleeper couches) and there was clear attention to details. Between the water bottles in the fridge, salt & pepper, vegetable oil and sugar in the cabinet, a well stocked Keurig, plastic wrap and aluminum foil in a drawer, as well as a welcome S’mores kit, all these little things made it easy to use the kitchen without running to the store for everything. I also appreciated having access to all the basic pots, pans (even a crockpot), utensils etc to cook as if I were home. The patio was the best! We all enjoyed hanging out there in the evening, making full use of the hot tub, fire pit and enjoying some rounds of corn hole game. Tyler was very responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. For all the neat picky guests out there, yes there was a bit of expected wear and tear, but the house truly looks like the photos and didn’t disappoint. The 2 bathrooms were actually even nicer in person :) Highly recommend!

We came to town for a big job for 4 days. It was a nice place to come back to. Tyler was great!

We (3 couples) arrived 2 weeks before the Derby to avoid the crowd. There is plenty of room for 6 adults in living room, dining room and kitchen. Plus, the backyard had plenty of room for all of us. There is a hot tub, sauna, fire pit and propane grill. Tyler was hands on when I informed him the refrigerator was not working even though the temperature read 35 degrees. He sent a replacement. That one did not work either. The same day we received another one and that worked fine. Even though it was a hassle for us, Tyler was in constant touch with us to resolve the issue. We all enjoyed our stay here. It was a great place to hang out after a long day of checking the sites out and touring some bourbon distilleries. All of us agreed if we were ever in the area, we would not hesitate to stay here again. Tyler, thank you and your wife for being a great host.

Four friends stayed here to play golf and enjoy each other's company. The house was great... The backyard awesome and everything was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again next time we are down!

Nice property, convenient for access into Louisville. Nice back yard features including hot tub and sauna. Couple of electrical issues in kitchen with 2 wall outlets not working. Property was clean other than a hypodermic needle on the floor in laundry room. Would definitely come back if in Louisville area in the future

This house had even more than what was listed and definitely had something for everyone. The host made sure you felt at home with having small items like toothbrushes and smores ingredients all the way up to bigger items like dog kennels, extra blankets, and a patio heater. The neighborhood was very friendly and quiet for the most part and conveniently located. The hot tub and sauna were the perfect ending to each day. One of the best house rentals we've stayed at.

The basics were all great: good location, beds were comfortable, house had enough space, we enjoyed the hot tub, and there were even "extras" like plenty of coffee for the Keurig, bottled water, smores ingredients, etc. The photos of the yard aren't up to date, as the patio furniture really needs new cushions and could benefit from a deck box to protect them from dirt and wear. The beds were great, but nicer pillows would take it up a notch! It met all our needs, but the outdoor area needs a little spruce up.
