What an amazing house!!! It was such a great vacation. The house has everything you could possibly need. When they said all’s you need to do is bring your clothes they weren’t kidding. I’ve never seen such a full pantry. This house has so much room for everyone. My granddaughter loved the secret room. She kept saying she felt like she was in a tower. The game room was awesome. The wrap around deck was amazing. We spent many morning’s out there. The kayaks were a big hit. Liana was so wonderful to work with. She made sure we had everything we needed. We’re so glad that we decided on this house to rent. It doesn’t disappoint. Already thinking about next year.

Quiet, private custom home. Most rooms have uncluttered views over the lake to hills beyond. Constant birdsong; a bald eagle flew over one morning. Huge, solid wood and log architecture reminiscent of the old railroad lodges at Grand Canyon and Yellowstone, but more modern. Big L-shaped screen porch with dining table. Superbly stocked as noted in other reviews. Grandchildren loved the playroom. Footnote: astonishing, still-structured coffee pot makes excellent java!

Liana is a great host with a serene and relaxing property. We had an energetic group of friends and her home allowed for equal fun indoors and out, regardless of the weather. Upon entering, I think every person commented on the view of the lake, the size of the yard, and the tranquility of the landscape. We had beautiful weather our first 2 days and spent it all outside by the fire-pit, sitting on the dock, and playing lawn games. As the rain & fog rolled into the latter half of our stay, no one missed a beat and headed up to the sizable screened-in porch or inside to the game room. (If you're lucky enough to watch a t-storm roll in from the porch, I highly recommend!). With multiple sitting areas and quiet corners behind each door, there's no difficulty in sneaking off to escape the fray. The secret room, or as our group called it - The Bird's Nest - is a great spot to unwind and take in the elevated view of the property. Overall, this home is everything the pictures describe and more; you won't be disappointed. Thanks, Liana!

Beautiful house. Family loved it.

We have rented houses in Maine and NH every winter for the last 17 years, and this is by far the best house. It has absolutely everything and is gorgeous, comfortable, and festive. We hope to go back next year.

This stay could not have been better. Magnificent house, provisioned with everything you'll need (two coffee grinders to choose from!), host that is somehow easy to work with but all over the details , a hidden room to excite a moody 10-year old, good wifi for work calls, enough to do in the game room that kids didn't even ask for the TV, beautiful lake all frozen for ice skating kids, 2 hours to Boston. We didn't leave the property for five days, just played games inside and out. Can't wait to visit again.

This property was absolutely perfect for a stay regardless on any age range in your group. The location and house are incredible and of all the times I have rented a lake house, I must say this property is by far the most completely stocked home I have ever stayed at, including the kitchen, outdoor activities, and general home items. You really do not need to bring much to enjoy your stay at this property! Liana and Greg were so responsive if we had a question and really just wanted us to have fun and enjoy the home. Located on a quiet end of the lake, this house is large and decked out for fun and comfort. Best of all, Liana and Greg are generous and helpful hosts. Their kayaks were our kayaks for our stay; snacks awaited us; wi-fi, cable TV, air conditioning, games galore (even a game room). We stayed two weeks for a family summer vacation and could not have had a better time.

If you like nature and want the option to hike/kayak/canoe/swim/fish without having to get in the car, this place is for you! We brought our five children here (ages 4-16), and everyone had a wonderful time, even our oldest who claims not to like the outdoors. It's an amazing home--truly a special property. Wonderful swimming in the lake, the owners even provide swim shoes if you forget yours. Really, just pack a small bag and go--much of what you need is already there! Liana and Greg were exceptionally responsive; we've never had such a positive experience. Highly recommend--so worth it!

Can’t even summarize how beautiful and enjoyable this home and location was . Every detail was there and the screened porch was used non stop as was the game room. Every room was tastefully decorated and loved the bird theme scattered throughout the house. The mountains and water greeted us every morning and night . The six grandkids had a ball running on the lawn and the kayaks were an added bonus as all the kids and parents could go out on the lake at one time . The floating dock got well used . We are hoping to enjoy this beautiful property again . There was plenty of room for quiet relaxing time and wonderful sleeping nights . Hosts are amazing and attentive to every detail. WOW! is what we all said when we first arrived. Everything we needed was provided - including plenty of towels. We had a great time.

I booked this home September 2021 for a family vacation for a week in July 2022. I wanted a private, lakefront home which could comfortably accommodate my family & extended family of adults, and a very active 18 month old. This home delivered in spades! It provided us with space to spread out, but also great spaces to come together, and enjoy each other. Our favorite spot to gather, was the wrap around, screened porch with views of the lake and mountains. We ate all our meals at the outdoor dining room table. Even when it rained, the porch was everyone's favorite spot. The large, landscaped, private yard allowed my very active grandson, plenty of space to run, plus space for cornhole or other yard games generously provided by the hosts. It was fun winding down at night at the lakeside firepit. You don't have to bring linens, chairs, kayaks, games, puzzels, kitchen, or cleaning basics. It's all here! As Liana told me, don't overpack. Just bring your clothes, and food. She was right! Thank you Liana for allowing us to enjoy your home. This has been one of our favorite vacations!

This house and property are incredible. The home is spacious and beautiful. The screened in wrap around porch was one of our favorite places where we ate all our meals and enjoyed the wonderful view of the lake. At night you could relax while you rocked away listening to a serenade from the loons and bullfrogs while watching the fireflies lighting up the sky. Everything you could possibly need and more was provided. Towels, spices, condiments, toiletries were plentiful for the entire stay. You can really just show up with your clothes and what you want to eat and drink. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and promptly answered any questions. Check in was a breeze and the house was spotless. There are so many rooms and space to spread out that the nine of us including four little children were very comfortable. The grounds provided plenty of space for whiffle ball, soccer and just running around as little ones love to do. It was very easy to fish off the dock although we did only catch 2 bullheads the entire week. The water in the lake is very clear however it is pretty shallow for a couple of hundred feet. The canoe, kayaks and floats were great to have and used quite a bit. The lake bottom was ok for about the first thirty feet and then pretty squishy for around another 100 feet. After that you reached a nice sand bar area where the bottom was very good and the water was deep enough to swim comfortably. We learned to use floats to pass over the squishy area to get to the nice sandy area. Overall the place is amazing, extremely well stocked and the owners very nice to work with.

This was the best VRBO experience I have ever had. The home and property are absolutely stunning! Liana was incredibly accommodating, kind and responsive to all of my questions. We came with 6 adults and 6 children and there was more than enough space for all. The kids had a ball in the game room (it was hard to get them out of there!) All of us agreed that it is the best home we have ever stayed while on a vacation together. The outdoor space is peaceful and stunning. We all brought food to make meals, but for the little things we forgot or needed, the pantry and refrigerator were very well stocked and Liana told us to feel free to use anything they had. We skied at Waterville Valley which was an easy ride. We hope to go back (in the summer and winter!) I can't recommend the home (and gracious owners) enough!

Our group of three small families had a great time in this beautiful and warm home. Our young teenagers loved the game room, there is a hidden bedroom that my 13 year old thought was the coolest thing ever, and we spent every night playing games in the dining room enjoying the fireplace. Truly beautifully setting and a house with everything you could need. I can’t wait to go back.

I don’t even know where to begin… This property is truly something special! Greg and Liana were absolutely amazing and so accommodating. For anyone with kids this is a dream! My two and my two nieces had a great time in the game room and basically felt like they had a little slice of “kidland” all to themselves! Throw in the hidden staircase and they are begging to come back again which we plan to do ! The property is just heavenly. It is quiet and stunning. We went for a hike to the waterfall and are now hoping to come again in the summer . We cooked thanksgiving dinner for 11 and although we brought what we needed , we had a few things we forgot and the house,pantry,and kitchen were stocked ! We are well traveled and have never been somewhere like this where none of us wanted to venture out and explore much further than the hikes. Greg and Liana were even nice enough to send a phone that was left behind back to us at their cost which was not expected and made a very lasting impression. Turkeys in the yard during our thanksgiving were a special treat as well! Like I said I could go on and on! We will most definitely be back and cannot say enough about this special place and it’s gracious owners

My wife & I have rented dozens of homes here in the United States & Abroad. Probably 30 houses in the past 10 years. This is the first rental out of 30 that we could not think of one thing we wished was different. During our stay we had 7 adults, a (4) year old and a new born. To be brief, plenty of room , privacy when you needed it. Lots of bathrooms. Every item from extra sheets, blankets, towels, etc was provided. The Kitchen was fully equiped and odd things like olive oil, spices, pasta, were available in abundance. Most importantly, the highlights of the rental were: 1. Cleanliness. 2. Private Setting 3. Communication with Host. If you need a bigger than normal kind of place in the White Mountain area you would be cheating yourself and family if you didnt book this property. Liana & Greg, we can't thank you enough for sharing your home with my wife, adult children and grandchildren! We will never forget it. God Bless

Wonderful house, beautiful location, with great hosts! We had a family get together there with 8 adults and 4 children 5 and under, and everyone loved it. A very large screened in porch area, with a large table where we ended up eating almost all of our meals. The kitchen was well equipped, even had most of the minor ingredients and spices you always to cook but forget to bring. The master bedroom was awesome, with a very nice balcony with great views to have your coffee on in the AM! The lake had a shallow area, it was great for our 4 and 5 year olds. We really enjoyed the kayaks, they had life jackets, paddles, along with a variety of floats. Enjoyed the fire pit several of the evening. We will try to head back there again next year. We really enjoyed staying at this property. It was very clean and had everything we needed on site. It was the perfect family getaway. There were lots of activities for all age groups to enjoy (and we were traveling with young children). The owners were amazing hosts and extremely responsive to messaging. Would definitely love to stay here again.

This home truly has the most relaxing vacation atmosphere. Upon arrival I was immediately thrilled with the cleanliness of the home. As I walked through the home I felt like I had checked into a luxury resort. The house is very tastefully decorated with mindful art work that gives you a sense of comfort. The kitchen if fully stocked with appliances, pots, silverware, stemware etc. The pictures on VBRO do not do the home justice. You have to see this place! So much storage for food and clothes. So many neat little sitting areas. The game room was perfect for our kids ( and adults too) it is spacious and who doesn’t like ping pong!? There is an amazing cathedral ceiling screened- in porch that wraps around the house. There are chairs along one side that are so easy to cozy up in and a very large table on the other side perfect for summer family dinners. The property is located on the most pristine lake I have ever seen. The water is so clean there is barely any lily pads and weeds. The lake is shallow at the dock, perfect for the youngest of guests. We brought some SUP’s so the older kids would paddle just a little out where the lake drops and is deep enough to jump of the SUP while the adults can float by the dock. The yard is a fantastic space where the many games where played and lots of memories made. The hosts are so kind and attentive. Any questions I had they were super quick to get back to me. There hospitality is top notch . We are already planning our next adventure to this gem in the mountians!

What a wonderful spot on a beautiful, clean, and quiet lake! The house is spacious and tastefully decorated. Lovely outdoor porches, open and screened. Our gang of 12, aged 5-90, found lots to do on the waterfront and in the game room. Liana and Greg are communicative, responsible hosts. We are so grateful for our week spent here.

We had a fantastic time at this incredible house! It is located on a large piece of land on a gorgeous, clear lake, with water shallow enough for the youngest kids. The house itself is truly amazing, featuring beautiful wood floors, walls, and ceilings, a massive game room, a large and beautiful porch, and plenty of spacious bedrooms, including one up a secret staircase hidden behind a bookshelf. There is gorgeous furniture throughout, and everything was completely stocked, from kitchen items to bug spray and floats. The owners were terrific as well - responsive, kind, and extremely generous with little touches, not to mention their time and attention. HIGHLY recommended!!
