Great property. Good location just a short walk to the beach. Easy bike ride to Seaside central area. The house was wonderful and we enjoyed the pool which was perfect with the heat on as the weather was overcast and a little cooler than expected. Definitely recommend this property and will plan to return for another stay in the future.

The home was beautiful and cozy. My family enjoyed the pool and the short walk to the beautiful beach. The management was very responsive and professional.

The first floor is open and spacious. The master bedroom on the first floor opens to the pool and backyard. There are three additional bedrooms upstairs, including another master suite plus the bunk room with two twin bunks. It seemed like sardines in a can to me but the kids loved it! I've saved the best feature for the last...the backyard. There is a pool, grill, dining table, outdoor shower, and open grassy space for the kids to play. We will definitely rent here again.

Surfing Deer is a great restaurant some of the other ones you may have to drive or get a golf cart though. Had a couple technical issues when we got there and they were very prompt and came out and fixed them that day.

Reviewer Comments: Overall, the property was acceptable, there were however several issues, on the day of check in, water was running out of a fan from a guest bath upstairs, we were told that the maintenance man would be there within 30 min, meanwhile the water was freely running onto the floor, we were then told he had just sat down to dinner, it was over 2 hours before he made it. We were not able to use the dishwasher(it was full of water when we got there) that was not a huge issue with us, we either ate out or used paper products. The home needs a really good deep cleaning, as there were several areas that really needed dusting and attention to detail. The master suite downstairs, the bed is so squeaky you could not move at all without it making noise all night. The kitchen did not have a single mixing bowl to use, so that would be a nice addition. Some one really needs to clean under the deck area and get all the old pool toys etc. out from under this area(under the steps) it is really nasty and unsightly under there. The BIGGEST issue that we had was the view that we had, when you are at the beach, the last thing you want to look at is a cable company substation as your view when you look out the front window, even having another house across the street would be ok, but not the view that we had the entire week, I would venture to say that if that was in the description for the house, most clients would not rent this house. Overall our stay was mediocre, but not a house that should rent for this price.

Because it’s brand new, however, there are a few small kinks for them to work out. 1- We knew going in that there would not be a pool heater, so this was not a surprise. However, the water was ice cold and it is perplexing that a house this nice would not have a pool heater. I can only assume that they just have not ordered a system yet. But one should definitely be added- we thought it would be no big deal, but it was like an ice bath. 2- suggest adding small wastebaskets to all of the bedrooms. 3- suggest having a small Dustbuster on hand or add an upstairs broom/dustpan set. But overall, it’s a fantastic property and a great location. Would 100% rent again if they add a pool heater.

This house is truly beautiful -Regrettably, our group experienced just too many mis steps- perhaps as a new property this will improve, however it severely impacted our vacation and evoked a lot of stress. 1. Pool was advertised as heated and we paid an extra $300 for the heater to be turned on. Upon arrival, it was freezing cold -we called to advise and were told two hours later this house does not have a heated pool and the management company just found out about it! Telling two toddlers and a 6, and 8 year old they can’t use the pool was beyond a disappointment. 2. The HVAC was freezing cold upstairs and caused everyone who stayed in upstairs rooms to catch bad colds, downstairs it was super hot, fan was not working so had to open the door to the pool and then stress about a kid wandering to the pool at night. This was eventually fixed on the third day - after we slept horribly for two nights. 3. Gum spit in a drawer, no duvet cover on two of the beds , dirty coverlet on master, pool full of leaves, garbage can beyond overflowing outside. 4. Went to use the bikes and the locks would not unlock and 1 bike was unlocked but broken and unrideable. Yes this was fixed a day and a half later and after two calls - such a bummer. 5. Barn door to bunk room came off and fell on a six year old child. Yikes! 6. Management offered us a house 25 minutes away in Inlet, not near all of the plans we had already made in Seaside. We still are waiting for the pool refund and as polite as we have tried to be- they stopped replying after the first three calls . Maintenance was there two times , which we appreciated but also disrupted nap time. We could not find silverware or a wine opener and therefore could not eat dinner after an entire day of travel - we were told to go to Publix to go purchase our own . We asked for some sort of compensation and five days later still have not heard back from management after three texts sent. The house itself was beautifully done and in a great location - a lot of kinks need to be worked out and I would not recommend this home for families with small children. We had so much hope for a nice vacation and had to endure stress, sickness, disruption, and disappointment each day. As a VRBO Owner, I would have at least offered compensation for all of this trouble. I am appalled I have to keep asking for it and am not getting a response- including the reimbursement for the “heating” of the pool.
