This property was exactly what we expected and most importantly very clean. The homeowners were very quick to respond to all of our questions.
The location is great to Beech Mountain Ski Resort. Would definitely recommend for a party if 6. Thanks so much for sharing your home with our family, as we celebrated an 18th Birthday and time skiing on Beech Mountain!

Out immediate family spent a long weekend in Beech Mountain. Our family group had a great time skiing at Beech Mountain and snow tubing in Hawks Nest.
Our VRBO house was in a great location and provided everything we needed.
The kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals.
The view from the main living area was incredible.
The house does not disappoint. Great time in a great location.

This house is perfect for a Beech Mountain Ski Getaway! After a long day of skiing, the set up of the house allows the kids to relax downstairs while the adults enjoy each others company upstairs watching the sun set over the mountains!
The hosts were very responsive to questions and extremely welcoming! 5 star experience all around!

My family and I had an amazing stay at this rental. This property was CLEAN and I am very picky when it comes to anything being clean. It is exactly what was advertised and the owners were very nice and helpful when we needed anything. The views were amazing from the house and my kids enjoyed playing in the snow outside the house . We also were lucky to see a family of deer walking around, which was cool to see. The owners have thought of everything, made the home feel cozy, and made us feel very welcome. I would recommend this property and we will book again in the future.

The property was clean, location was a plus, closed to sky resort, trails. We went to eat to a few places and the food and the attention were the best!
The property was beautiful, very quiet town, we enjoyed every day staying, the kids had an amazing time lots of games for them to play.
We watch movies together!!

We didn’t need to speak with the owners since we didn’t have any issues.
Plenty of towels for everybody, laundry room with new appliances!!
I love waking up to a beautiful view and having coffee.
Do not hesitate, if you are coming this way this is definitely the property to rent.

The home we stayed in was perfect in every way!! My mom, myself, my two daughters and granddaughters come every year and we decided while there that we are going to rent this home every year. We had a small issue and the owners responded quickly and they were amazing!! The home was beautiful and had everything we needed. Can't wait to go back!!!

We enjoyed our Labor Day long weekend in Beech Mountain to escape the summer heat back home. This was the perfect house for our family-4 adults and 2 little ones. The house was very clean and comfortable and the back deck view was beautiful…watched the sunset over the distant mountains each evening. The hosts communicated promptly with any questions we had. Would highly recommend!!

Great location, beautiful, sunset, views, looking over the valley to the mountains beyond. The home is near the crest of Beech Mountain and was just a short (5 minute) drive to the Emerald Outback Trails.
The home was very clean, and extremely well equipped with almost anything you could have left or forgotten to buy. We especially appreciated the large quantity of coffee left for us to use. It was extremely generous of the owners. Beech Mountain Country Club is nearby, convenient for lunches or dinners and golf if you are a member.
Excellent place to stay to enjoy cool mornings and evenings in the middle of the hot lowland summer. We will return.

Entering the home, I was so pleased and as I walked through to see all the bedrooms, baths and living areas it met all my expectations!!! Clean and had everything you need! The view was amazing too!! We will definitely stay here again!!

This property was perfect for our vacation. There was plenty of room for our large family and friends. So close to Beech Mountain Resort. The game area was a big hit with the children and teens. Gorgeous views and easy to park 3 large cars. Would highly recommend staying here and plan to stay here next time we are at Beech Mountain.

This house had plenty of room for our group! We put all the boys downstairs and they came and went thru the skier’s entrance. That was one of the most convenient aspects of the house! We came specifically for the kids to hit the slopes and it was so nice that they didn’t have to bring all their gear through the front door everyday. Also if you are coming to ski, the traffic coming up the mountain in the mornings is rough! We loved that the house was past the ski resort so there was no traffic to fight. There are plenty of tv’s for everybody. Definitely will stay here again!

We just got back from a truly memorable and magical long weekend in Boone. Adrian and Michelle were just so wonderful to work with. The place was perfect for our two families (4 parents and 6 kiddos). Kids loved the downstairs room offering games and freedom from us old folks. We loved the kitchen and views and bedrooms. Hope to be back very soon. Picture and memories for a lifetime!

This was a wonderful experience all around. The location is beyond perfect and just north of the entrance to the slopes so you are going against traffic and it was so close! The house was soooo well stocked and everything was labeled! It was incredible! I literally even had tape and hot glue for the crafts. They thought of EVERYTHING that you could ever possibly need and supplied it. I kept being amazed with every drawer I opened. The VIEW… wow, just WOW! It’s mesmerizing and you won’t even want to leave the house. The gaming setup downstairs was such a great use of space and my son loved it. I can’t say enough good things about this rental. They were so good at communicating and very accommodating. Don’t hesitate, book now!

The house we stayed in was perfect! The house was neat and organized. There were so many small details for guests to enjoy-guest pantry, comfortable beds, firepit with wood ready to burn, recommendations for restaurants, hikes, water falls, and local fun. We had a place to play games, the kids had air hockey to play and we all gathered every evening on the deck to watch the sunset. There were deer everywhere! Everyone had a good time and we felt at home. We will visit again.

My family of five and some friends had a great time staying at the beech mountain house. We had gorgeous sunsets on 3 of our 6 nights and roasted s’mores on the fire pit the other nights. The check-in was easy and there was plenty of room for all of us. Just be aware that the bunk beds were not in a bedroom but more of a common space outside the downstairs bedroom. It wasn’t an issue for our group though. There’s sort of half a floor below that too with a little tv and gaming area (a little too small for adults imo) and an air hockey table. That area was perfect for the 6, 7 and 8 year olds. The property was even better stocked than I’d read in the reviews. The owners obviously care and have tried to make it as welcoming as possible. I’d definitely consider coming back another year.

These owners really know how to do it. They communicate well, gave good directions, advice on sights to see and restaurants. Very clean spacious house with large tea and Keurig selection too. Outside deck on every level and nice fire pit. One minor problem for us was pilot light was out on indoor fireplace. Otherwise perfect and we would go back.

Well maintained and cozy!
My family and I really enjoyed our time here. The owners were welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The views from the house are amazing and the kids loved the game room on the bottom floor. We did have some trouble with the fireplace, but that could’ve been due to user error on our part. We’ll definitely try to stay here again the next time we plan a ski trip to Beech Mountain.

Better than we imagined!
This house was perfect for our group. Cleanliness is most important to me and it was spotless. Not even dust in baseboard corners or funky surprises behind/under beds that kids find.
As many others said, the kitchen was better stocked and view more impressive than in photos. What I didn’t expect with the kitchen was that all the basic spices, olive oil, tin foil, etc would be there. We brought most of this, but wouldn’t have to next time.
We also didn’t realize the importance of the location when we booked. Being above the resort made a HUGE difference in our day. We were able to drop off and pick up as needed at the slopes and always going in opposite direction of traffic.
The small flat area in the yard was great for kids too. Just having a place they could run and jump outside was so helpful.
A fantastic overall experience with great hosts. We would absolutely stay again!

Perfect Mountain House
Perfect place for multigenerational family vacation. Lots of space for children to play & adults to visit. We enjoyed a magical snow fall and amazing views of snow covered mountains and fabulous sunsets from the house.. The house is well equipped with everything you need for cooking & comfortable, clean and very attractive. Our grandsons loved the game room with air hockey. We. Had a minor issue and the hosts could not have been more responsive in getting it resolved quickly & satisfactorily. Definitely recommend for a great experience.

My family (with kids 5 & 8) and adult siblings (with 8yo nephew) took our annual fall hiking trip at this rental. We found it just as described in the listing and reviews, spotlessly clean, stocked with just about anything you could ask for, easy to get to, and with the most beautiful view! We've never stayed in Beech Mountain area before but we loved it. Such a cute place, and having Fred's Mercantile so close by was perfect for all our last minute necessities.
For families with young kids there is a super cool playground at the Buckeye Rec Center just 10 min from the house, with a beautiful walking loop overlooking a lake and another easy trail to see a waterfall. We also hiked and highly recommend Rough Ridge (near the Linn Cove Viaduct) and Roan Mountain (at the TN border).
Overall we had a great trip and would definitely consider renting again!
