First Vrbo rental. Went smooth. Bobby was a great host.

We really enjoyed the location and the house itself. We brought our boat and we’re able to utilize the dock to keep it in the water all week and that was extremely convenient. We would certainly stay here again! The property owner was very responsive and easy to talk to as well!!

We enjoyed our stay in this classic OIB home. Sipping coffee on the deck was a great way to start the day. Kitchen and bathroom supplies were well stocked. The beach access was one block down from the street entrance and it was a quick trip down the canal with our boat to the dock.

This house was great. 13 of us enjoyed our stay. AC is amazing. Bath towels are not provided so take your own. The gas grill does not work just FYI. We had taken steaks to grill and didn’t get to enjoy that meal. We don’t like charcoal. Rent a golf cart and the ride to the beach is easy. We loved being on the water. The kids enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. The neighbors are very nice. There is a long clothes line for hanging out towels and clothes after you wash them. Everyone had a blast and I would definitely recommend this house.

The house was exactly as described but the layout was better than we anticipated. Everyone had their own space and I could have spent the entire weekend on the back deck watching boats. Everyone had a fabulous time!

Great house

The house is well laid out. Our family was Mom and Dad, adult son and his girlfriend, adult daughter and her husband, 4 1/2 yo twin grandsons, and 1 yo granddaughter. This house provided just the right mix of togetherness and yet everyone had their own space too. The owners were very responsive in dealing with a few small issues. We'll be back!

Great house

This house worked out perfect for a group of coworkers. Canal dock was perfect for kayak launch, beach and restaurants were close by.

Great location, close to everything at the beach. Great layout and plenty of room for all of us. Fished every day off the dock and caught fish every day! Host was super responsive and great to work with. Tommy

We loved our stay! I’ve been coming to OIB for over 40 years and this was the perfect spot for our group of young and older adults. The older group was able to stay upstairs and the younger crew had their own space downstairs. Perfect for the guys wanting to fish from the dock or surf fish after a quick walk to the beach. We loved being able to bring the four legged family members too. Great place for a family trip. Bobby is a great host who was quick to respond with any questions I had.

The house itself has everything - lots of comfortable bedrooms, three full baths, front & back decks, a great dock, and a short distance to the beach! If that wasn't enough, Bobby has the house stocked & labeled with everything you could possibly need! I texted Bobby with a question & he called me back within minutes - I loved talking with him! We were there for my son's wedding & this house became the central location among family & friends - everyone loved it! I don't know when I'll be back to Ocean Isle Beach, but I know where I'll be staying when I go there!

We enjoyed having our dogs with us at the beach. The view of canal and intercoastal waterway were beautiful. Very relaxing place. Property was as advertised and property manager was quick to respond. Make sure to bring bath towels and hand towels.

We stayed in this home to celebrate Christmas with our family. This house had plenty of room for us to spread out and is real close to the beach. We ended up only using the upstairs 4 bedrooms and didn’t need the downstairs bedrooms. We had less people join us than anticipated. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. We even cooked a 22 pound turkey in the oven! Please note that bed linens are provided but bath towels are not provided. We traveled by plane so we were unable to pack towels. Thankfully, my mother lives in Shallotte and brought us towels to use. This was the best Christmas we have had in quite a while. This house is pet friendly so we were able to enjoy time with our daughter’s kitten during our stay. The weather was beautiful! The sunsets on the beach were breathtaking. We would stay here again given the opportunity.

The location of the home is on the closer end of the canal opening into the waterway making it a great spot if you plan on bringing your boat! Owner is extremely fast to responding! We had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Nicely located property on the canal. We had plenty of space inside and enjoyed the back patios as well. We rented kayaks and launched from the dock. Bobby was a wonderful and responsive host!

This house was perfect for us! It was right on the canal and the kids were able to put their kayaks in the water and paddle around. We did some fishing and caught/released several (not sure what kind) The views from the back deck, where we spend most of our time, were amazing in the mornings and the evenings. We grilled out and had our best meals right there around the large dining room table. Our fur babies loved it also and we were so grateful to be able to have them in a pet friendly environment. The washer and dryer work very well. There are multiple beach chairs and kiddie pools and the A/C was the BEST, as it was sweltering HOT during the days. It was such a blessing to be able to stay in your beach house! Thank you for the hospitality Bobby...you are the perfect HOST!

Had a wonderful time at this property. Was very clean upon arriving. Several bedrooms were very convenient for our large family as well as the outdoor shower. Enjoyed being on the canal and staying here!

This was exactly what we needed for out dream vacation. It's so difficult to find a place for 13 people and there fur baby's!! The owner was super to work with and the location was perfect. Loved fishing in the back yard as did the kids. I would recommend this to anyone looking to go to the beach!!
