Needed a few days away from work and Nanna's was perfect.

This place was cozy, quiet and was just perfect for us. They lay out of the property along with the easy access to the lake made this one we will want to book again.

Decent property, overpriced. Property is way outdated and needs TLC. Shower dripped, Bridge to dock was dry rotted and had hole in it. I fell on it when it got wet. Dire need of repair. As a family, we had fun despite some issues.

I would’ve thought for the amount of money we paid to stay at this place there would’ve been much more attention to detail. Upon arrival we noticed there were leaves covering the entire property. Roof , driveway, lawn. I don’t usually complain much but how much effort would it have taken to send a landscape company over before we got there to give us a good 1st impression? The exterior needs TLC and should be painted. We went inside and it was clean but clearly a while had passed since the cleaners were there judging by the amount of spider webs were on every window. I know there’s a lot of spiders in Alabama but again, how much effort would it take to send someone over ,the day before we got there, to clean that up fo a good impression? BUT BY FAR THE WORST PART WAS THE CRAZY DOGS A COUPLE HOUSES OVER!!! There was a bunch of big aggressive dogs two houses over across the street. They would bark all night and kept us up. Also I witnessed them attacking the small dogs next door in the driveway next door a few times, to the point where I had to chase them off because one of the old dogs was full of blood. That was not an easy task as the dogs then came at me on the property we we’re staying on, I threw rocks and yelled and eventually they ran off.One day we drove by the house with the crazy dogs and there was a dead dogs body in the driveway. My wife enjoys walking and jogging but didn’t do any of that on this trip. I could’ve looked past the lack of detail with the leaves and spiderwebs but when I requested a partial refund ,because of all we’d been through , and the owner denied that I was inspired to write this review. As a small business owner I know how important it is to take care of and be good to your customers. That didn’t happen here.

Easy access to dock. Everything we needed already there!! Will definitely book again.

The view and relaxation from the back porch can’t be described. The house is well appointed and is comfortable and has room for plenty of people. You can feel the love that went into the house. We enjoyed the stay and hope to return again later in the year.
