The cleaning was far from being perfect. It needs only more attention and better attitude. the problem of loadshedding is complicating the good evaluation. The generator would be a solution.

Nós não recebemos o apartamento reservado com vista para o mar. Ficamos em um apartamento térreo, com trânsito constante de pessoas, sem qualquer privacidade. Tivemos que pedir para trocarmos de acomodação com persistência até que conseguimos. Difícil demais a comunicação com os administradores. Foram inaptos na entrega das chaves do segundo apartamento, e o porteiro teve que nos ajudar dando mais de dez telefonemas até conseguirmos falar com alguém.

receptionist didn't gave indication to which stair case to use and there are no boards showing. receptionist was rude. Oven looked like something out of a horror movie! didn't want to make food. Was charged extra for parking???? Thirst time ever... Both pools was close with fences, so we where chased out of pool. Said its under maintenance.. But why cant they do one pool at a time so that you can at least swim, Its SUMMER!!!! Chair on porch very unconfutable.

I liked the room

I didn't like that i had to go to an event with creased clothes because housekeeping had left for the day so i couldn't get an iron to iron my clothes :( . The pool was closed off under renovations that was not mentioned when i made the booking.

I liked their bed, its top quality and spacious., The location too is awesome since its along the ocean

The fact that they do not have iron for their customers. I had to go to Lagoon Hotel and request one colleague to assist with ironing in her room. The other bad factor is that their reception closes at 17H00. Anything you need after that becomes your own problem.

Good views secure location spacious room. Good bathroom. Nice patio / balcony to view beach and table mountain.

Noise from the nearby flat overload….the apartment should be double glazed for sound proofing in the bedroom / rear. Leaving a security deposit and then inspecting / returning the deposit was a bit like hard work as reception normally does not open before 8am….special arrangements were made that worked.

The pools were out of action, fences around them. Nothing was communicated about that before arrival. Months before arrival tried to get confirmation of full payment which was never confirmed which lead to payment due notification on the day. I didn’t appreciate that as I tried to confirm payment before arrival. On the last night we returned home to an open door (we believe it wasn’t shut completely after house keeping) and one of the other rooms sliding door to the balcony didn’t lock, there were people peering over looking to their room, which they called security for

Getting the key after 5pm was difficult. I was called to say that I must be there before 5 but I had just arrived and was about to eat dinner. The links that were sent to me for payment didnt work. The staff were there then we eventually rushed through after cutting my dinner. That process of after hours key collection should be made simpler. The heating in the aprt is not efficient for a cold city like Cape Town. it heats a small area in the living room only. I didn not like that i was asked to pay additional fee for parking and I didnt realise this cost was there when I booked. I was also asked to pay R700 as a deposit and this was not noted when I made the booking. I would not have booked the place if I knew this. I am a loyal booking.com customer and they have my bank card details and would charge me if I didn anything wrong. Lastly the bed is no a king sized bed. It is 2 beds put next to each other. That was sad as it is not ideal for a couple and not comfortable at all.

it has a beautiful view and the location is easy to get to other places in Blaauberg strand or in town.

I would have liked warmer blankets as we were there in winter and the sheets were slightly too thin. But other than that, everything else was great

Rain damage to power supply during last night stay

Friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, clean bedding, housekeeping and everything was very good, great distance from beach. We would definitely return.

We loved the place. Just the one lady at reception was very unwelcoming My son even asked me why she is angry at us That was a bit sad and off putting but we enjoyed our stay

The Self Catering apartment was very clean and there is house keeping daily with very trustworthy staff. It has a breathtakingly beautiful view of the sea and Table Mountain. It is very close to all the sight seeing places as well as shopping centers. There is 24 hour security, the area is very peaceful and the staff is friendly and helpful. There is an option for the staff to do your laundry at a small price or you can use the laundromat on site which is great but you need to have enough R5 and R2 coins and your own washing stuff, the reception does not have change - had to drive to town again for that. Immediate access to the beach was an absolute favourite! We had a great stay and highly recommend Leisure Bay!

Check in was from 3pm and when we got to the Apartment at 16h35 they were still mopping the floors! The apartment is on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator, had my Mom who is 70 struggle a bit up the stairs especially since we were out all day walking - this would most probably be the ONLY reason why I will not stay here again. The whole stove was sprayed/painted including the lights of the plates so it was difficult to see if it was On or Off - not all the plates worked and the stove knobs were not numbered so yea that was a bit of a frustration as some of the food got burnt at first.

the location is excellent in terms of convenience from all the best points of sight seeing and shopping in cape town and even the apartment is superbly located with great lagoon sea just outside your balcony...the garden, swimming pool and baths along with spacious rooms all make it for a great place to stay.

the kitchen area is a bit small and lacked some facilities but otherwise the cleaning was done on regular basis. the power failure is a major drawback which is not hotel's fault but due to such problems mostly faced in nights, the kids were not conformable and we had to accompany them. The parking charges and wifi charges were levied and not informed about in advance and the most difficult part is that there is no facility for food in the hotel itself.
